Klass I feel you.. I think literature in English should be made compulsory in secondary school curriculum.. at least from JS1-SS1.. That will reduce comprehension problems many are having...

As for his comment about being the first to provide a grand child, I can't help thinking of the scripture which says there is foolishness in the heart of a child and the rod will help remove it.

Last borns tend to be a mother's pet and favourite, I am sure that is why mama is asking OP to apologize. But has he asked rude boy to apologize to the eldest he was rude to? These are grown men, they will resolve their issues without all this cajoling of one person to apologize to another.

On a serious note though, I'm gonna speak based on my experience as the last in the family... In some cases, every time the elder ones says something, It sounds like it was a law those days... If I talk, they will take it like what do you know..
This is one of the reasons why the youngest were kind of brats just to revolt .. no one takes them seriously because just like the OP said, he handed down his clothes to him, defended him from bullies etc..

It takes maturity to conquer those behaviour... His brother has not gotten to that maturity stage yet.. for him to say that he has given his parents the only grand son means that there's work in progress... He still feels like there's competition going on...

I think his elder brothers should be the one to mellow him down.. and explain to him that he wasn't competing with any of them... That they all got their various destinies to fulfill... They can't achieve that with violence and arrogance... They will only be interdependent with one another..

I dislike the idea of frying fish. Instead I go for already smoked fish.

The Major reason is the smell from fish frying which can last 3days or more. It steams from the smoking oil when frying the fish. The smoke leave trail of the fish Oder on everywhere it make contact with which is usually the all house.

Couldn't find a already smoked fish 2 days ago and also yesterday so I ending up getting two fresh iced fish.

Fried with lot of vegetable oil in the morning before heading to my office. Everywhere was smoked from the oil steams. I was great when retuning from office with the odor of the fish as I open the door,
even though I sprayed enough air freshener before leaving the house.

I indeed open the windows for Enough ventilation, but this morning as I woke up the fish odors is still there.

Very typical of the lamentations of a bachelor that doesn't want to mess up his luxurious pad but will really want to eat home made meal

There's this air freshener that u can plug to an electricity socket( Air wick or Ambi Pur to be precise ).. while going out, u turn it on... When you are back, u unplug it.. It will neutralize every unpleasant smell.. just invest in that.. I don't think it's expensive..
when you purchase that, you can fry as many fish as possible in peace
