This is sad.

If after a four year term, Sanwo olu's only selling point is some dubious 'familiarity' with the electorate then what was the point of his administration?

There are real bread and butter issues affecting people in Sanwo olu land:

Daily extortion by the NURTW army
Awful roads
Terrible traffic
Unfair, multiple taxation

And so on.

Instead of solving these problems, Sanwo olu looked the other way for 4 years - because he just doesn't give a damn. And people are supposed to just grin and bear it?

Like I said, it is up to Lagos to decide on Saturday. If Lagos is okay with the mad traffic, the agbero plague and all the other problems then the people can re-elect Sanwo olu. If on the other hand, the people are truly fed up, they also know what to do.

In the end, the people will decide and they will have to live with the consequences of that decision.

This is scaremongering.

Sanwo-olu was also inexperienced and untested before he came to power.

Four years later, he has nothing to campaign with except bad roads, hellish traffic and an ever powerful 'agbero' united. People are tired of all this nonsense and just want the system to work.

It is up to Lagos to decide.

Every election cycle we go through this. It will not be fair to South South who gave APC huge volume of vote not to get the Senate President and same to be micro zoned to South East.
Igbos are clearly not Democrats, That is why in all the zones, it is only South East where voting did not take place during Feb 25 elections. They are still stuck with the practise of just writing election results. Hence one Cynthia Okeke was the presiding officer and the agents for all the political parties.

Even if INEC intentions are true,this sounds suspicious, particularly at this time when the tampering of the bvas is one of the core reasons the LP and PDP are arguing as the basis of the election being rigged.
This Yakubu is not acting like a professor because if the order is granted and the bvas machines reconfigured,it would just stiffen the view of the opposition and conspiracy theorists that INEC is doing it to wipe off evidence from the presidential elections,casting a permanent doubt on the 2023 presidential elections,no matter what the supreme court decides.
