Yes, i study in MSU mankato. The graduate school is very good. I have alot of friends who finished with Masters in IT and they have gotten into the job market. i am also majoring in IT, but in the undergraduate level.

If you love IT, go for it. My school has a very good platform for Msc in IT.

Phemix is doing great. He is performing well with his academics here. He even had a GPA of 3.9 this semester. The dude is really murdering his IT classes like hell. Always busy programming at midnight when i'm asleep. He is doing fine. I will send your regards to him.

Although some of the present people here might not know about this moniker Gr8ever, Am sad to post that Opeyemi Fashola aka Gr8ever is dead.

He died last week, When i checked the almanac is exactly one year or one year and one day he got his student visa. How i wish you are still alive to fulfill your destiny and the plans we discussed that night a week before your death

Opeyemi Fashola aka Gr8ever your death is very painful to me/us because you never wait to experience the American dream, Anyway i still can't believe you have gone so soon..... You will always be in my/our heart..... I wish you are still here with me/us..... I/we love you but God loves you more ..

May your soul rest in perfect peace..

I was shocked when amefrica broke the news to me about his sudden death. This is so sad. i remember how we plan on his admission and visa issue over the night, with midnight calls. He was well ambitious and driven. May his gentle soul rest in Peace. I wish he truly fulfilled the american dream, but God has better plans for him.

This is sad. Gr8ever was really a good guy. He will truly be missed here on the thread. Till we meet again and part no more. Rest in peace bro.

Sure, it's usually pretty hard getting job during spring session. He would definitely get one. How's studies going? Hope you finally settled for the business and information technology?

Studies is going fine. although pretty tough and too stressful here. Too many work to do. I finally settled for the Information Technology major and a minor in Business Administration. I'm loving the major, but programming no easy my brother oo. I have been able to scale through all my It classes. My performance in the IT field has been excellent. We thank God.

What major do u intend pursuinhg?

I bought both kaplan and collegeboard SAT textbook on amazon and the textbook got to me in 2 weeks.

There is No need wasting money going to SAT prep schools, SAT prep schools are very expensive. And Morever, you can prepare on your own with those materials and score very high! Just like the way other SAT test takers did.

You cannot Print out a Copy of your DS 160 form once you have submitted the form. A copy of your Filled DS 160 form can only be printed out the very moment you submitted the form, You will see an icon which states " Print Application" and another. Icon which states "Print DS 160 confirmation page". So you need to print out the application right @ that point because if you close the browser page, you won't be able to retrieve the application again. The only page you will be only allowed to print out after submitting the form is your DS 160 confirmation page. So you need to have that mind. The only way you can retrieve your DS 160 form now, is to Fill another DS 160 form again by Filling a NEW FORM and you click " Retreive Application" By that way, you will be given a NEW DS 160 no which will be different from the previous one you had innitially, and you also get to see some of the details you entered innitially for the previous form. So after filling the NEW DS 160 form as appropriately as possible, Then you print out your DS 160 confirmation no as long as the Application. Print them out @ that same moment you submitted the form. because if you don't do so, you won't get the opportunity of printing the whole application again, unless u go thru wht I explained above again.

There are a cornucopia of jobs (here in Nigeria) that can absorb applicants who just finished studying abroad.
It appears you know quite little about the current job situation in Nigeria.

I think Imperiouxx is right. I know of a high school classmate of mine. She studied in the UK and she came bck to 9ja for her NYSC, she is done with the NYSC since 2 yrs ago, Up till today she is still searching for a job in Nigeria and she told me on bbm that she is seriously searching for a job here but she has not found any job yet.

Thanks bro. I have only spent just 20 days in the United States of America and I'm already seeing my name and pics in a newspaper here in Minnesota! The director of international admissions of my school showed me a newspaper today which had my name and pics taken with other staffs on it while I was working @ the campus kitchen, welcoming me as the first New student in their school on the newspaper. My head just dey swell. God is great! When even my shadow no even show on top any 9ja newspaper. Lol.

No school in the US will ever deprive you of quality education because of your age. They even want to see young chap like you who has got potentials, to get into their university and achieve your goals. Try your possible best to perfom brillianlty well in the SAT. Getting that perfect score with that age of yours will even make the VO dust his hat and Pledge allegiance to you the Brain wave..

So contact your desired school and ask em for their admission requirement and the required SAT score you need to have. The sky is your limit.

YES, you can attach a scratch card with the Result printout, But I'm not saying this is a guarantee that it will be acceptable by the VO oooo. But if you are smart, there's a way you can mindle your way for the VO not to ask for your WAEC cert.

Do you know what you will do, If Possible carry a Laptop bag that has many zips or a bag that has many areas where you can keep docs. So keep your online WAEC result seperately and the scratch card too, DON'T ADD THE WAEC along wth your other docs like the DS 160 confirmation page, int'l passport, i-20 e.t.c.

So let the interview go smooth, so should incase the VO request for you to pass your docs to him, he won't have every reason to spot your WAEC scratch card in your folder. That's why I said you should keep it seperately from other docs in your bag..
