Never experienced brake failure in my cars but I have experienced it on my powerbike. I was doing 140km/hr whole traveling to Akure from Ondo. Suddenly a bus was coming directly at me cos the driver had just overtaken a trailer in a tight face me, I face you road... I saw him late so I slammed on my back brake to slow down before supporting with my hand brake. At that speed, if I use my hand brake first, I'll lose control and if I only use back brake, it won't be enough to slow me down so I can maneuver so I slammed on my back brake. It worked but when it's time to support it with my hand brake. Na so my hand brake they make noise and front tire started shaking heavily. I lost my hand brake. I had to run off the road at about 100km/hr. I still don't know how I manage to hold on to the bike and didn't fall. I was literally shaking by the time it ass over. I parked and checked the front brake. Low and behold, grass as tangled on the brake disc so it prevented the brake from catching. Las Las, na God save me.

Notorious motorbike snatchers given a rare face-lift in Ogun State.

The Ogun State Community Social Orientation & Safety Corps code-named So-Safe Corps has arrested notorious motorbikes' snatchers in Ogun.

According to a statement released from the Office of the State Commander of the agency said that at about 11am on June 30, one Mr Lawal Kazeem reported his missing motorbike marked JBD 933 VZ stolen from his farmland in Abapawa Community in Ijebu Ode LGA.

He disclosed that on July 19, two middle-aged men, Okoro Ogudu aka 'Chi Boy' 25, & Okechukwu Eze, 28 & residents of Ibadan, Oyo State, suspected to be the alleged sn@tchers of the said motorbike, were sighted on the spot where the motorbike was parked then on the farmland.

Ganzallo said that one of the two suspects brought out cutla§s and the man ran for his life. The So-Safe Office at Itoro was contacted to save the victim's life and the Officers swung into action immediately which made possible the arrest of the suspects and protecting the victim.

Any person telling you the AC does not increase fuel usage is lying. Your compressor draws power from your alternator, which in turn need power from your engine to run.

1. Why do you think the engine power drops, while it's idling, when you put on the AC?
2, why does the ac not work when the isgniton is on but engine off,.

That being said, The use of AC increases the fuel consumption by 8% to 10%. It's more economical though to use AC when going at speed for long distances because opening the windows will cause drag, which will in turn increase fuel consumption. AC is better used forl long distances rather than short distances.
