Guy you sound goofy, frankly.
What in the world are you talking about?

I challenged you debt hogs before to show me which highly indebted state in Nigeria has "a world class" anything.
You didn't.

I'll challenge you again to show me all the highly indebted states in Nigeria, and point out which of them is more developed than Anambra state. Please do that fast.
You also cited strikes as your measure; pray how many times has the NLC duked it out what the ALMIGHTY federal government of Nigeria over that same salary issues? Do you know how much Nigeria controls as a country? Why should there EVER be a strike in Nigeria over salaries? When you answer these questions, you would eat it your own vomit. undecided

It is fools like you that push states to economic bondage for generations to come and still drive them to stone age. angry
The way gullible fools like u throw big words around when ur problems are simple, highly indebted state ko world class ni.
Who cares.
Pay teachers, doctors and lawyers salaries, build roads etc
Anambra has the highest number of industrial actions in Nigeria.
The governor is plain incompetent simple.

has borrowing been able to cure the flood menace? What of the doctors that just called off 11-months-old strike in ogun? Can u compare any sw city to enugu, awka and owerri? Why the high cost of education in your area? Can't borrowing cater for them?
Peter Obi is plain incompetent.
What has he done with the state funds.
Almost all aspects of the civil service are in one form of pending/ suspended or ongoing strike.
Stop excusing incompetence my friend.
PoliticsRe: Reasons Some Ex-governors Won’t Face Trial - CCB by RoadStar: 4:55pm On Oct 02, 2011
@Eko Ile you are not a model for fairness and justice yourself.

If this trial had been about Buhari, I dont think you will put in as much effort to defend him.

Corrupt politicians always hide under tribal sentiments to get away with crime by recruiting tribal soldiers like u.
PoliticsRe: APGA Motto Should Be: Steady Development, Zero Debt. by RoadStar: 4:40pm On Oct 02, 2011
I trust Igbos to defend their own even when they are mediocre and sometimes outright incompetent.
This is one of the major reasons for the poor quality of leadership we have in the SE.

So borrowing money to improve your infrastructure which will spur further development is now a faulty model.
All in the name of making your peter obi and his apga look good.

At a time when the SE is falling behind other regions in almost all economic indices.
Just sit there while Peter Obi sends you lot to the stone Age.

The worst is that those of u saying this dont live in the SE.
Workers are on strike, schools are closed, doctors are on strike, no dicernable infrastuctural projects.
So it then begs the question , even before he starts borrowing, where is all the state funds?
This is a classic case of woeful management.

Shameless things.
PoliticsRe: Akala Condemns Ajimobi Over Affairs With Tinubu by RoadStar: 4:52am On Sep 27, 2011
I dont understand Nigeria.
The case is not even a major one.
He is not accused of corruption.
If found guilty, he could only face a ban from politics.

Even if that happens, he has the right to appeal all the way to the supreme courts.
The same courts that stood by him against OBJ.

Eko Ile:
How many politically lynched people in Nigeria got vindicated?

Was Awolowo vindicated?

Was Abiola vindicated?

The fact that he's guilty or innocent is irrelevant, this is about the obvious motive as stated by Mr West.

These silly trials are not staged to vindicate you, they are designed to deny you, kill you or put you away.

This is part of the sad history of your country.

You sound so naive, Surprisingly that it is.
You are beginning to sound like Bode George. grin grin

Abati has learnt that talk is cheap.

It is very easy to win peoples hearts being a gov critic or while in opposition and outside power.

This explains why Awo is an idol and OBJ is the devil incarnate.

But not for that granted to bank of the north now Unity Bank.

I sense a sense of inferiority complex, release the details and hand to EFCC.

These Boko Haram guys have been around even during the days of Yar'adua.

This is merely the work of religious extremists. Not IBB, Buhari Atiku , CIA ,MOSSAD etc.

He may be losing the plot but to say he is non-performing is outright false.
I am no fan of his, but the man did his best.

I am still waiting for the state in the South East with a better road network than Anambra.

Obi is authoritarian, posits a holier than thou image, self centered and selfish, but to say he's not done much for Anambra, is false!!

I am a big fan of Mr. Ndibe, but this is one article i have doubts on some issues raised.
Accuse Mr. Obi of not doing it to standard but not doing at all is false!!
And what has that got to do with Obi.
The whole credit goes too Ngige who not only constructed roads on a mega scale but used a renowned construction company RCC.

Obi came to office by playing on the huge well known the ethnic and religious sentiments of Igbos.
This is why I maintain that nowadays, the SE has a few to learn from the SW when it comes 2 politics.

PoliticsRe: Former Lagos Governor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Buys 3 Planes For 40 Billion by RoadStar: 2:00pm On Aug 17, 2011
Another instance of lazy press.
No mainstream daily in Nigeria has carried this new.
The only instances where a link between the airline an tinubu has been mentionen in Nigerian dailies in the past had used the word "allegedly".

First Nation Airways, the newest bride in the nation’s aviation industry has is set to take delivery of three modern Airbus A320 series as it prepares to commence local operations in May.
One of the aircraft painted in green and white colours flew into the country a week ago and it is being parked at the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos.

With the inscription, First Nation boldly on the body and a white eagle on the tail the aircraft is configured into two classes, eight full leather business seats and one hundred and thirty-eight economy seats.
A statement signed by the corporate Affairs Manager, Ronke Kilaso, said the airline would be headed by an expatriate Managing Director while Kayode Odukoya of the defunct Bellview Airlines would chair the board.
She also stressed that the new airline was purely an independent entity from Bellview even though it was benefiting from wealth of experience of former Bellview staff.

Nigerian Pilot gathered that the new airline was being promoted by b y some American investors as against the initial speculations that the former Governor of Lagos state and a leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was behind the formation.

The management of the carrier was also said to have engaged a European Air Safety Agency (EASA)145 approved maintenance service provider to maintain the fleet.
Airbus Industries, British Midland and Oxford Aviation Academy are billed to provide the training for the technical and carbin crew.

The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) is to provide the ground handling support for the latest entrant which is billed to start operations next month to Abuja, Kano and Portharcourt from Lagos.
The spokeswoman also disclosed that the operations would extend to other cities in Nigeria as more airplane were acquired, adding that the airline’s sale would be distributed through E platforms and web solutions.
This goes to show how untrue this story is  undecided
BusinessRe: Sanusi Did Not Re-introduce Arabic Inscriptions On Naira by RoadStar: 4:45pm On Aug 16, 2011
Jarus:
First, there are a lot of other information I have about Sanusi(how he wept when he discovered the scale of corruption in the system on assumption of office etc) but if there is no need to use them, I will not.
On this issue of Arabic letters, I had known it was a lie for long but kept quiet, not wanting to appear as defending him in every matter but when I realized it’s spreading so fast and supposedly highly rated analysts are also falling victim of truth assumption by popularity, carelessly quoting it, it became too disgusting for me to keep quiet on.
Also, I am not the only Nairalander with passion for a personality(what my friend, Mbulela called me hero-worshipper for since 2009 cheesy). Make a critical statement about Mike Adenuga and smoke Zombie out, criticize GEJ and incur Beaf’s wrath etc. So what have I done special?
May I add, too, that Sanusi is one of my role models(we share same passion in writing and intervening in public affairs, discarding one’s corporate veil, even though I’m still an amateur), far before he became CBN boss, as this March 2009 thread can attest to:
So when you believe in someone, why hide it:
And the pabambari of it all is that if some people’s business here is to criticize every move he makes, giving them fire for fire is not out of place, especially when they resort to clear lies, which this ‘arabic lettering’ point is.
Dont let your love for the guy blind you.
He will get the same treatment as everyone else.

Soludo was accused of collecting back-hands from bank MDs so that he could turn a blind eye to their fraudulent practices.
He was accused of collecting bribe from an Australian firm for the purpose of awarding printing contracts.
He was accused of forming the ADB which he chaired as his own bank for his own benefits.
When Soludo carried out the consolidated excersice, he was accused of being anti-north even though he bailed out the the Bank of the North to the tune of N20 billion until there were no investors ready to guarantee the debts. Something he never did for any southern bank not to talk of an Igbo owned bank.
Even Sanusi joined the whole anti Soludo chant and neither charged, implicated or substantiated any claims, when he became CBN governor and Aganga stupidly echoed.
And now u want the whole world to have pity on him ?

Even Doras record in NAFDAC was rubished by Aandoka until he was threathened with a law suit.

This is part of the Nigerian lazy press culture. (Sahara reporters and co.)
And we all seem to enable an encourage it.
Anyone in a public office is criminal by default.
BusinessRe: Sanusi Did Not Re-introduce Arabic Inscriptions On Naira by RoadStar: 3:12pm On Aug 16, 2011
Whether he is accused rightly or wrongly u mustn't always defend this guy.
Everyone in public office from GEJ, Obj, Soludo, Dora etc have had unsubstantiated allegations leveled against them.
It is a Nigerian thing.

PoliticsRe: What Are Zik's Acheivement That Made Him Pro-nigeria And Not Pro-igbo? by RoadStar: 2:33pm On Aug 14, 2011
UNN was created in 1960 while UI became a full fledged independent university in 1962.
I stand to be corrected.
PoliticsRe: What Are Zik's Acheivement That Made Him Pro-nigeria And Not Pro-igbo? by RoadStar: 10:14am On Aug 14, 2011
Now that two of Awos said achievements have eliminated, can we now correctly assign those achivements to Zik.

Even if Awo took over UI, he did that after zik had founded UNN.

Hence Zik created the first Indegenous full fledged Nigerian Univerity.
Zik founded the first indegenous fully owned Nigerian Bank.

Now I will thouroughly examine the rest of the claims.
i'm sure not all of them r true.

alj_harem:
yes the north had free education but it is not only free education we as Nigerians would feed on

First univerisity

frist television station

first free health service

first bank in nigeria etc

this is why we love awo , Not just free education

secondly, the east had free education for 3 yrs by nnamdi but failed because it was not as planned as awo did

also out of envy nnamdi arrested awo because we are taking about the 1950's here way before the war

so what are you talkng about

what did Nnamdi achieve for us Nigerians ? that is the question

Nta, which we all still benefit from

Free education which lagosians still benefit from

free health service which I benefitted from this yr

etc,

Bello, gave use free education which people like saraki etc benefitted from

Bello gave us a sense of unity in the north which still works for us

etc

Zik  huh huh huh huh huh

I think majority of ou people defending Zik here are either pathetic or very sad undecided because I mean what do u benefit from in any of his polices

even Nigeria as a country is frustrating

so what ?
This one is a lie.
I have corrected u guys in the past and you keep pushing this lie.
UNN was the first Nigerian full fledged university.
Awo dint have a hand in UI which was the first university although of foreign affiliation.

Another lie.
National Bank of Nigeria was fully acquired by the western regional government in 1960 long after Zik had created ACB in 1944
And long after Zik was a share holder in the same (National Bank) bank.
Although there were already foreign bank operating in Nigeria, Zik created the first Indigenous bank in Nigeria. (ACB)

You are now beginning to convert Ziks achievements to Awo.
Please stop misleading people.
