PoliticsRe: Igbos Cannot Produce The Next President Of Nigeria by RoadStar: 2:50am On Jun 11, 2012
Orikinla: They need to study the political common sense of Senator Bola Tinubu who rose from being an ambitious state governor to the national leader of the Main Opposition. Tinubu does not boast of intellectual skills or even revolutionary bravery, but he is very smart in political leadership. I have been watching him for over a decade now and I know him more than he knows me. Tinubu should write a book on his Political Common Sense. Nigerians and students of Political Science need to study Tinubu. He is even faring better than the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the greatest political leader of the Yorubas since Oduduwa. Tinubu is the smartest Yoruba political leader since Nigeria became an independent nation. His protege, Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola, the present Governor of Lagos State needs to learn more from Tinubu's Political Common Sense. My reference to Tinubu is for the benefit of the Igbo political leaders who are more politically confused than the Hausa political leaders.
This sounds a bit contradictory undecided
Awo is the greatest Yoruba politician since oduduwa while tinubu is the smartest since independence.
Obasanjo is the greatest and smartest in Yorubaland since Genesis.
BABA SEGE!!
PoliticsRe: El- -rufai Insulted Igbo Race —obi by RoadStar: 4:38pm On Jun 10, 2012
Truth be told Anambra is going to experience 8 years of decay under this peter obi.
His comments and the way he has approached el-rufais critic just exposes this man's low level of intellect.

The problem with Anambrans is that they threat their state with disdain.
There seems to be a discrepancy between the been-tos and the locals which has resulted in a mentallity that to be successfull, u
have to migrate outside the state, and has lead to the state being run by a low witted i.d.i.o.t like Obi.

Whenever you open the newspapers you see comments and contributions from notable Anambra figures both on a National on international level and the list is exhaustive
Soludo , Ezekwesili, Akunyilu, moghalu, mustapha-obi, anyaoku, ekwueme and even Ben Akubueze in lagos
but they misteriously keep mum and are inconsequential when it comes to Anambra issues.

To me i dint see anything wrong is Soludo running for governor when his services as CBN governor was no longer needed same applies to dora.
Look at edo and the progress being made under Oshiomole.

The problem is that the socio-political dynamics in the state is just backwards and primitive.
The state is being run by traders and touts while the entire cream are in lagos, abuja and everywhere else enhancing those societies.

From the comments of most of you,its clear you haven't been near the state of late, go down there and you will notice how the place has so deteriorated it is SHAMEFUL!

Pukkah: Was it not Sanusi that justified the existence of Boko Haram on some skewed revenue sharing formula? What a seasoned economist and analyst!
That was exactly where I lost respect for the guy.
Under what economic calculations did he arrive at that ? shocked shocked shocked
PoliticsRe: Sanusi Is Now Dan Majen Kano (Traditional Title) by RoadStar: 5:27am On Jun 09, 2012
aurenflani: Am I missing something? It's like igbos in nairaland critisize, insult and demean everyone and anyone who forms subject of discussion posted on this forum so far as that subject is not an igbo. it is like this otherwise industriou igbos have a hidden spirit inside them which prompts hatred against non igbos. SHAME!
And I am missing something here too,so anyone who is a critical in Nigeria is igbo.
Your brand of tribal bigotry is both alarming and disturbing.

Having read some of Sanusis writeups in the past, I can see why u will admire him.

ballabriggs: Who cares if you've an MSc from the University of East London. If you were a true professional you would know what it means to respect other professionals. If you were a true professional you would know what it means to grow as a Finance Director in FBN. Get a life and stop hating! The man is not your rival, he's not out to impress you and he does not care what a low life like you thinks of him.
U continue to expose yourself as a seasoned ignoramus like your oga !
I am only saying that one who writes articles on politics and sharia and non in his supposed field of economics is suspect.
Only to come up with comments like terrorism in the north being caused by unequal revenue allocation.
A finance director does not make u an economist, seasoned or otherwise.
I can now see u are a "Seasoned illiterate".
PoliticsRe: Sanusi Is Now Dan Majen Kano (Traditional Title) by RoadStar: 1:24am On Jun 09, 2012
ballabriggs: Laugh at your ignorance. Only in your ignorant mind must an economist right a book. Do I blame you, when you don't even know the meaning of the word "Seasoned". Like I said you can hit your head on the wall, the man is not out to impress you. He is an achiever and only higher minds know what he is worth.
Yea, lower minds like me with an MSc in a UK university and have working experience in a global financial company don't know his worth.
I do apologise, the word seasoned means different things to different people obviously.
You are a seasoned ignoramus.

Sanusi DOES NOT have a Master Degree.
This is the one of the most openly pedalled lies on a public official in Nig history.
As far as economics is involved he only has a Bsc

ballabriggs: Respect to a seasoned Economist and Finance professional. Let the enemies hit their heads on the wall.

PoliticsRe: So They Never Really Loved MKO by RoadStar: 3:17pm On May 30, 2012
Kobojunkie: This is what irks me of how some of you folks think. Celebrating June 12 has little to do with the man Abiola, but the fact that Nigerians across the Nation STOOD UP to fight for their right to a democracy. That is what June 12th was about.

The riots that followed, led mostly by the agberos and ignorant Abiola blind bats, should not be used to taint June 12th and what it really meant for Nigeria as a whole.

I protested June 12th as well. I stood against the annulment of the people's decision, not on behalf of any man, but on behalf of the Nation and it's future. Please get it right. June 12th is not about Abiola but about a Nation standing against in protest against a decision made by the establishment to deny them their right to choose.
So you've answered the question, no one really loves MKO ...

Odenigbo Aroli: I am very glad that all you nutheads are underating Peter Obi of Anambra but time will tell!!!!!!! The man had performed better that your fashola,Amaechi and Rochad put together and even Rochas and Mimiko look up to him!!! You guys guys are judging performances based on "white elephant project"!! How about massive basic infrastructures that stretches accross the state. Peter Obi is not developing Awka alone; He is workng all the sectors sumultaneously! Am dissapointed by the way nigerians judge performances. How many jobs has all these clowns you guys are calling has created huh Anambra has not borrowed a kobo from any back inspite of their meagre resources ! Anambra state is the most financially stable state because of the prudent funds management of the state government. Anambra is the least indebted state in nigeria yet you dont see the governor running aroud ringing bells for it. Do you have clue as to why Peter Obi is in the economic team of GEJ and fashola,Amaecho and Roshas are not ? Time will tell. I see ppl calling Akpabio, oshomole, sullivan and even freaking mimiko!!!! EDUCATION ISNT WISDOM!!!!
SHUT UP MY FRIEND ! YOU ARE A DISGRACE

Uduaghan might be the worst but there is no government in Anambra.

chino11: Peter Obi is tha bomb, bringing multi-nationals (Sabmiller and LG Electronics Plant to Anambra to revolutionize the economy of Anambra, which ranks 3rd after Lagos and Rivers. Creating enabling environment and needed infrastructure for pharmaceuticial giants Juhel, Emzor, Orange drugs that has already set their plants in the state and thereby creating the much needed employment.
Look at how desperate u are to include this loosers name.
You've now resorted to listing the achivement of private individuals/sector as that of the governor.
This guy is the worst thing that happenned to Anambra since Mbadinuju

Mr. Globe:
Egba mi ooo... @roadstar pls change this title topic to reflect the content. This matter needs to be analysed critically. Nigerian Journalists are among the bloodsuckers killing this country (word to Rueben Abbati). Only in Nigeria will a journalist recieve handouts to try to potray the treachery and decay of Peter Obi in good light. Its magical.
Btw, your list will be correct if Amaechi is least. I have not seen him running around the media with fake pictures and he is not telling you he is doing much but let that be for another thread pls.
Amaechi is big in the media all dat talk about Rivers state power projects, refineries etc
U need to go to PH , apart from a couple of dualised roads theres not much on display.

For Rochas, I don't think imo state can afford his big dreams

Top of my list is definitely Peter Obi, Governor of Anambra State.
He has exploited this to devastating effect.
This man could easily pass as the worst Governor in Nigeria but his press hype has enabled him get away with murder.

Secondly, on Visiting Port-Harcourt last year, I can tell you all that Amaechi's achievements are far from we are made to believe.

Top on my my list include
1. PETER OBI (ANAMBRA STATE)
2. ROTIMI AMAECHI (RIVERS STATE
3. GODSWILL AKPABIO (AKWA IBOM STATE)
4. ROCHAS OKOROCHA (unconfirmed) (IMO STATE)

You can expose Governors left out of this list ...
PoliticsWorrying Trend Of Governors Who Buy Press Popularity.(name And Shame !) by RoadStar(op): 11:31pm On Mar 27, 2012
Governor Obi has been rattled by evidence of his extremely high unpopularity in Anambra. Obi was shaken by the defeat of all three senatorial candidates he backed during the April 2011 general elections. Most of the candidates personally chosen by Governor Obi and the All Peoples Grand Alliance (APGA) also suffered crushing defeat.

Several sources in Anambra, including a member of Governor Obi’s cabinet, several clergy and top bureaucrats, told Saharareporters that Mr. Obi sponsored two separate groups of senior journalists to visit Anambra. Our sources disclosed that the journalists, who were Obi’s guests three weeks ago, received both cash handouts and the promise of state-sponsored supplements in their publications.

Our sources revealed that one group of journalists was led by Dame Comfort Obi of The Source magazine while Femi Adesina, deputy managing director of the Sun, led the other group. A source within Government House, Awka disclosed that each member of the group led by Mr. Adesina received a cash gift of 350,000 naira each while members of Dame Comfort Obi’s group received 250,000 naira each. I hope they can go on to become tops in Nigeria,

The same applies to Ogun state in Yoruba land
They produced Awo, OBJ, Abiola, Gani, Fela, Wole Soyinka, Shonekan, Adenuga

We can also say that
Yoruba - Ogun = Kanuri grin

God in his infinite wisdom knew y he made it that way.
PoliticsRe: Anambra Vs Abia. Which Is More Organized? by RoadStar: 9:14pm On Mar 19, 2012
afam4eva: @Roadstar

It's such boasting that makes other Igbo people(Abagworo) to attack Anambra. While i think the people that Anambra state has produced are the very best in the country, i also think it's an insult to say that they're better than other south-eastern states put together. Let's learn to show respect so that it will be reciprocated.
But they are !
Why, let me not say the truth because it angers Agbaworo ?
I also conceded that infrastructure wise, they are poor.

The truth is the truth !

The Igbo, Kalabari, Ighala thing was a joke.
But its still kinda true wink
PoliticsRe: Anambra Vs Abia. Which Is More Organized? by RoadStar: 8:56pm On Mar 19, 2012
Have you heard the saying
IGBO - Anambra = Kalabari or Ighala grin grin

I think in terms of infrasructure,
Anambra is in a mess right now due to a series of Bad leadership
Due to bad leadership.

But when it comes to accomplished personalities
They are AWESOME !!!!!
The gap is just too much compared 2 other SE states put 2gether.

While the former is man made,
The latter is divine. !
PoliticsRe: Igbo In Fading Shadows ( Na Today?) by RoadStar: 8:33pm On Mar 19, 2012
This writer is talking rubbish !
He completely neglected certain factors in play.
Like The Geopolitical structures at play.
Is he talking about the Igbos as an ethnic group or is he talking as Igbo as in South-East.
Which I think are not quite the same.

He talks of Lagos, Portharcourt and Abuja.
The question is this
Is the Ikwere(Potharcourt) ethnic group more different to the igbos more than
The Ekos, Ilajes, Awonris, Eguns etc who are indegeneous to lagos ?

eg https://www.nairaland.com/890572/makoko-not-repeat-not,a-yoruba
But while many will call lagos a Yoruba city the same will want to look at PH as a non Igbo city.

As far is the clueless writer is concerned, the hausa-fulani are doing well also because they got Abuja.
Not even aware that the indegenes of Abuja (the gwaris) are not even remotely related to the Hausa.

The writer even looked as Asaba as a non-Igbo city when comparing to Onitsha.
As far as i'm concerened, Igbo towns inclue
Enugu, Onitha, Nnewi, Aba, Owerri, Asaba and Portharcourt
Which in terms of total economy is comparable to that of any ethnic group in Nigeria period.

Some people just pick up their pens and chat shhhit!
