Keep deluding yourselves. Akpabio will not defect. The meeting is just about the executive trying to broker a deal with PDP to get them prevail upon saraki to reconvene the Senate so they can pass the bill to fund the elections 2018. And other urgent matters that the Senate needs to get done.
bros, this news about him defecting has been floating around too long. I am afraid it might be true.

If OBJ a Yoruba son was there for 8yrs and did not deem it fit to honor MKO and Gani then it took Buhari to do it, then he deserves the votes of Yorubas more than anyone else

Atiku was in the govt that killed Bola Ige a Yoruba son and former governor of Oyo state, Harry Marshalls a South-South man, Barnabas Igwe an Ibo man and not for once did he speak up or condemn it,, Atiku is even wanted in the US for the Halliburton scandal where Senator Jefferson is in jail

When most of you talk like this, it .makes my skin crawl.

How does June 12 give you constant power supply, provide jobs, good roads, advance medical facilities, industrialization for the Yorubas or even your children.

This is why I keep say many of you are not educated at all...

Are u guys this daft?

Go and see what Rwanda has achieved for themselves and you will be ashamed to call yourself a Nigerian. Ghana just overtook Nigeria as highest kola producers.

But you are here celebrating June 12... As If it adds any tangible value to your citizenship.

Your likes are the reason why I will eventually leave this country. I don't want to my kids to end up being stupid and conform to mediocrity.

The one mistake you are making is, you give them what they ask for.
I get requests all the time too.
If someone is asking for 30k, if you want to give, tell them its 5k, or 10k you have.
Also, i don't lend to people who do not have a clear cut way of paying back.
E.g someone earns 60k as salary, wants to borrow 100k ,to pay back next month. Pls tell me, where will he get it to pay you back? This person can never borrow above 10k from me.
.
Secondly, some people are privy to your financial standing, and use that to tell you that they know you have the money. I do 2 things. I ask them if I am working for them, then I blacklist them. 10 naira, you will not see.
.
Some other people call you, and when you say you don't have, they tell you that when you receive your salary, you should lend them the money. There is only one solution for this category of people. BLACKLIST!!!
Even me, I don't make plans on a salary I have not yet earned/received.
.
I now have a new method.
When someone calls, or approaches me for money, before he tells me his problem, I start listing mine.
How I got a call from my Dad to help pay his medical bills of 50k, in the same week, my brother has asked for money to support his project 30k, my aunt also called to say that she has no where to turn to, and me too, I walk around with an empty purse. No money and I am in vexing mode. Being broke makes you angry.
After all these, the person will know that I will not prioritize his need over mine.
Exactly how I do mine...

Pls, only mature contributions

After my service year I lent out #140k to raise some of my friends and big bros in my area (family men) that lost their job as a result of fraudulent act in their office which led to closing down of d company. To avoid questions of how I got d money. The little amount I got from d small business i engaged in, together with my savings during my service year. I believe everyone has their days of trial but it becomes safer when someone steps in to relieve. I'm not trying to refer my self as a GOOD SAMARITAN but I feel for the children and wife at home. They all promise to pay my money when they gain balance financially. I never give thought of doubt on this because they re graduate and have been working before . Over d years, 2 years to be precise, i was able to get back #50k. There is even one of them that give flimsy excuses like ' l am busy at work, i am in d meeting now bla bla bla... later I was unable to reach him. Probably he put my number on the blacklist. This makes me to decide that i will not give out what i can't let go.
Recently, a colleague of mine at work approached me to lend her 30k so as to buy some stuffs in her shop, I never hesitate to turn her down because I'm tired of listening to stories when d money gets to her hand. She called and pleaded on phone that she knows i have the money, i needed to turn her down again, however i acted that way just not to displease myself again. A friend of mine is equally calling me now to raise him 20k to join d money he has to execute a business. Just fed up now, I hv d money with me but i don't want to regret my actions at the end. After a lot persuasion from my friend, I sat down and start asking myself series of question.

Like: Do I need to judge people base on what others have done?
Hope i am not selfish with my decision?
Pls I need a mature advice.

It's simple rule... Never displease yourself to please anyone. A friend used his name to collect 2,000,000 for someone else and right now, he can't sleep cos the person hasn't paid back the money....

His relationship with the lender is at stake because the lender has been of tremendous help to him and he never failed but just this one now has turned something else.

Well, the man that collected the money used it for business and for each money he was making, he wS reinventing it back into the business. He never knew that at a point, he would be owed.

The man is trying to raise the money though...

I don't give what I can't afford to lose. If u wanna vex, vex... I am not the cause of your problem...

You said it, you can't find such within.Lekki1-VGC. You can find them in Ajah and environs. Those places are after Ajah, you can't compare both environments.
That is why I said "FROM"... all na Lekki. Just pick one based on your budget... if I am gonna buy a house there, it wouldn't be more than 55 Million.

Aside the prestige there and possible business contacts, I don't really any thing too special about the place though.

This is why I say most Nigerians are not as educated as they assume. Even going to school is learning a skill. However, specialized in demand skill/education is the key to 21st century success.

I have never used my school cert to work since after NYSC and even now, I am securing deals worth millions, but that does not mean I should tell people to do what you just said.

What part of Lekki abeg? I hope you know it costs more buying a house than building, if you you're to build with 40m budget then what wull be the size of the land? Even in Osapa,Idado,Agungi and Ologolo you will hardly get a duplex with it's own compound for that amount except it's semidetached.
I understand this one is in Ikate, a much more expensive part of Lekki, I doubt 40m will buy a terrace there.
I typed Jiji(.)NG but nairaland omitted it. Please search there for prices.... it ranches from 40 Million and above.

I don't mean 40 Million is the overall price. I mean FROM 40 Million you will get a good house. At Sango Tedo for instance, After Ajah, around Shoprite complex, duplex there is 45Million. My friend told me this because he stays there.

Shehu Sani's Political clout has been decimated by this single piece of paper. Even if he is heading to PDP now, he will be negotiating for stabilization cos he deserves better. He is a smart fellow, but I wonder why he waited to be degraded.

What PDP can do now, to wipe his shame is to arrange for a 'lousy' invitation to him, with this disgrace meted on him, he will be assigned the responsibility of diffusing Hell-Rufai.

You are a smart man... PDP should use him to gain more relevance, truly.

I don't need to use Google. It is something I know cos I am searching for house to buy between now and next year.

With 40Million, you will get a decent 4 bedroom duplex in Lekki.

Use to search. No let celebrity lie Confuse you. From 40M and above you will get a good duplex. I don't like Lekki cos it is over hyped. That area is only good for connection and prestige.

We are proud.

We are confident

We are overzealous

We are lion hearted.

We are brave

We are fearless...

We don't know how to sugarcoat the truth... We say it as is, even if it will hurt you.

No tribe has been so vocal about the disintegration of Nigeria as the Igbos for the benefit of others. But today, those who were against it can see the Igbos were right.

Igbos are not diplomatic when they wanna speak... They tell you the way they feel... Unlike others who would be scared of getting you angry.

It is true that Igbos don't have anything like loyalty or slave mentality .. In a igbo community, a 5 year old son of his father can speak up in the midst of elders without fear and he will be heard.

All this, if it cannot address the acute shortage of capability in Nigerian web hosting industry, is a waste of money and effort. Nigeria loses millions of dollars each year, maybe hundreds of millions, due to Nigerians looking for credible and reliable hosts in the United States and other countries. This should be the first face of development of ICT industry in Nigeria, because for any meaningful internet business, you need a website, which starts with a web host.

Talking about the importance of partnering with average Nigerians in a project like this

Nigeria can't boast of their own indigenous hosting company because you need power to power the servers bros.

I see nothing wrong with those questions, sad this is our kind of mentality over here. Adam d'Angelo the owner of quora.com have been asked way too many personal questions about his website and how it generates money he never finds any faults in the questions but took his time to answer them all. These are questions every neutral person should know.
do you think many Nigerians are as educated as they assume? Nigerians think that once you know how to read and write, it means you are educated.

Technically, it goes beyond that and please don't compare Adams to what we have here. They are not and will never be in same category.

These days I spend most times on Quora than I spend on nairaland and each time I feel more educated within a few hours than many years months in spent on Nairaland.

Sad to put this way but truth be told, Nairaland is a reflection of Nigeria. What happens in Nigeria that you can't find here?

Buhari did a lot for his people, whatever they ask for he gave them, he killed for them from day one , they killed for him up till now , for Buhari it's Hausa/Fulani first then rest Nigerians after.

Millions of factors determine who rule Nigeria, money in billions of dollars, security agencies at your disposal, religion, whom you put in charge of INEC, etc. We are quick to forget Nigeria election is NEVER free and fair.

Assuming Buhari was president in 2015 and he contested against Jonathant. Then Jonathan won , I want people to tell me if Jega the INEC dude would have announced Jonathan the winner ?
