Invest as little as 10 mill in Aussie and you'll get permanent residence. |
Liftedhands:Lol...okay. I can gift baby money nau..thank u. |
I have a quick question, mamas. What would you have appreciated that someone brought for you at the hospital, immediately after you gave birth? Someone you're not so close to, so peppersoup is not exactly an option and all those diapers and baby clothes na long tins? |

They can't even make it a round figure..36 million naira..neither here or there. Cheapskates. |
The strange thing is not that he slept with her, but that he said hello to his daughter. |
Addressing the public over a video that didn't stir up anything... #Attention starved... |
Mennnn.... |
That's great! They did what Nigeria ought to do to them originally, but is lacking the balls to do it. |
CrazyMan:Instead of them to reassure people as to how they plan to effectively keep the epidemic off our borders, they are arrogantly saying that they cannot stop people from coming to the country. Senseless and insensitive as always. It's every man for himself, really. Take a trip to Australia and see how their border control officers scrutinize an ordinary apple, even without any rumors of a disease outbreak. Nigerians are there, surviving on a prayer. Na dem sabi. Happy new year, man! Good to see that you're still very much around. |
Nigerian government can mumu ehnnnn... You're trusting people to self-quarantine in their houses because they are Jesus Christs and care about Nigerians abi? Will they even be teleporting from the airport to their hotel rooms and houses? Patrick Sawyer did not teach you people anything. Dundees.. |
@Khaffi2, congrats mama! But you mean say you pay hospital bill, just so you can birth the baby on your own? Hahahaha...I go collect refund if na me oo. Congrats and kisses to baby. |
His obstacle is just his primitiveness. Just read all his responses again. Smh |
Surulady:Yes oo. That's all that's left to do. Ignore. |
FloraEC:True, but vegan diets for babies come with their own significant risks. Infact, more babies become diarrhoel after only fruits and veggies than they do after only good carbs. There is really no class of food that cannot be overdone no matter how wonderful the combos might seem. The kinds of purees I see here sometimes sef, create frightful images. Adding milk to mashed potatoes and tomato paste...just nasty stuff. The fallacy that pap has nothing to offer as people often peddle, also confuses me. Corn itself, although not a first stop for vitamins, does contain a small amount of the vitamin, while millet, with its low glycemic index has vitamins, proteins, photonutrients... and can definitely not be bad nutritional trade offs especially since it's for a very short stretch of the babies' lives that these would be given and many mothers will breastfeed alongside anyway. |
unex50:You should see her paed to be sure she actually has thrush and to better work out the dosage of antifungal drug she should be on. [s]But because I like to give my professional bit on days i feel happy anyways, ...I would say give 6mg per kg of body weight of fluconazole suspension on the first day and continue with 3mg per kg of body weight for 13 more days.[/s] |
LadySarah:Hahahhaa....na really headquarters. Everybody is different, surulady. I don't know how good of a wife you have portrayed yourself to be to them, otherwise, all it takes for some people is just to smile less often, to pass some message across. And it's always better to maintain a good name, if you can help it. However, if you can't, you still should not start off resisting with fire fire oo. Just work on your husband...and with sense as well. In all, to make her presence bearable, just keep reminding yourself that she will not stay in your house forever. |
comtem2011:Infact, i even want to recommend the good old guineacorn/millet/soyabean pap. I'm not sure why or how all our computer age mums concluded (if they did) that it's not nutritious and now prefer all these canned big grammar food and crazy purées of uncountable fruits and what not. I'm even surprised that ALL babies do not purge after these crazy mixtures. I would, as an adult. |
miraclebaby:28 weeks... For most interstate air travels. |
yeyebrity:I shed a tear and I don't even know you. Too much hormones worrying me at this time of my life. So sooo sorry. |
Every other month for two people makes you a superwoman, maybe. But every month in our normal Nigeria oo, not central area Abuja.. not much...don't let people mislead you. It's not about the money not being available per say, but about not being intentionally gluttonous and wasteful..cooking 10 different soups in one week with all kinds of animal for what and using some miraculous fragranced bar soap so you can start smelling like some plant...that doesn't make a healthy fly life if you ask me. |
They lose, problem. They win problem. |
Jaynom:!! |
Liftedhands:So you want to be entertained at other people's expense? |
Asapretty:Have you ever heard of the FDA? Briefly, it's a federal government agency of the United States, that is saddled with the responsibility of impacting/regulating public health through the supervision and control of such things as drugs, vaccines, cosmetics, dietary supplements, even sperm donation. Suffice to say, it is like the NAFDAC of the entire world. Countries that are smart enough, produce significant portions of the food and medical products that the USFDA approve for Americans to consume and use in their everyday lives. Now, the FDA through their laudable research, came up with a specific standard for dietary supplements that a pregnant woman should exercise, to safely develop a fetus...especially in cases where there might be nutritional gaps, cos you never know. They ask you to look for any prenatal vitamin that includes: 400micrograms (mcg) of folic acid. 400 IU of vitamin D. 200 to 300 milligrams (mg) of calcium. 70 mg of vitamin C. 3 mg of thiamine. 2 mg of riboflavin. 20 mg of niacin. 6 mcg of vitamin B12. 10 mg of vitamin E. 15 mg of zinc. 17 mg of iron. 150 micrograms of iodine In all my time in Nigeria, the only readily available prenatal I know that follows this standard to the letter and adds more in some of its versions, is Pregnacare. Sadly, a lot of patients think it's expensive. So what better way would you suggest the problem be alleviated and still targeting a similar outcome, than to recommend substitutes that closely follow the standard? Sadder still is the fact that most people these days (even Naija docs succumb too) will just pick three to four, out of them all -- maybe folic acid, calcium, iron....and be happy with their decision...even though we are a meatpie generation and don't eat as appropriately as our forefathers who didn't use supplements. So so so....Pregna Multi is neither new, nor is it bad. I used to know it and it sure will do. I know it contains all the required nutrients, but some are a few milligrams off the standard. You can compare the constituents written on the pack with the list above or any list of the standard dietary supplements for pregnancy you know, to get the assurance you need. |
So na every kind of country go de win una? Australia again? |
4gunners:And the assistantship. Double visa. Congrats, lillith. |
Apeshy101:A better question is - Must you be a Catholic priest to spread the gospel...? You know their rules, but no, you must go there, so you can default and say that the church is this and that.... |
drexx:The jacket adds some formality to the ceremony and can easily be ditched, immediately after. Nothing really, can ever be out of place though, so long as you're comfortable and it's your event, do you hun. Lots of suits come with waistcoats anyway, so you may as well just buy one of those and see if your mind changes for whatever reason (maybe looking different from the groomsmen) as the day draws closer.... Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. |
Awesomemama:Mama, let's not over think things. They are all the same. Antimalarials prevent...treat...cure malaria. Sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine/Fansidar cures malaria. Everyone is entitled to visit a doc in person anyways. |
urcutecrush:Are you ovulating? And I don't mean whether you feel this and that every month or you see this color of that or that your period comes every particular date. Noo... Have you monitored and actually saw from the investigation, that a dominant egg got released? |
