Absolutely true but there are other means to show jealousy than through the invasion of one's privacy. And like you said it must be regulated else you get emotionally manipulated by the lady. Some women can be very mischievous when you start acting jealous like you give a fvck so we don't give them the leverage.

She need to first have access to my phones and gadgets before we can talk about invading my social media accounts. It's a very private thing to me and no one has access to them. I, too, don't care to have access to hers or anyone's phones and their SM accounts. It's none of my business, really.

And often times they think you don't love and care enough about them if you don't act jealous. One thing I've managed to overcome in my relationship is displaying jealousy. I never make it obvious even if I'm jealous.

Truly, the Nigerian man believes that with money he can get any lady to bed and this mentality has fueled the culture of 'money for down back for ground' praxis in our society. We all know money can corrupt even the most morally upright individual so the affluent Nigerians have capitalised on the penurious condition of ladies, in a country where the majority lives below a dollar daily, to their advantage thus converting them to spongers.

The rich class contributed largely to the obfuscating prostituting form of relationship as practised in Nigeria. I hate to admit it but most amatory relationship in Nigeria is a humbug. It's premised on what the man has to offer financially and what the woman have to reprise sexually.

But to put the blame squarely on the men is unfair and erroneous coz greed and the lackadaisical drive to succeed by such women also plays a vital role in the whole thing. An ambitious, principled and morally sound lady won't let society condition her to sleep around for financial gains or date for money before she can succeed.

In furtherance to the cause of this parasitism relationship, is the love for show off and impressing people. The black man generally loves to show off and display wealth more than any other race I know of. The girls aren't left out and the ones who can't acquire the good things of life legitimately resort to sleeping around with the wealthy guys. There's a need and pressure among their peers to talk about how rich her boyfriend is and show off her new acquisition to friends. So yes, you have a point but both sex are to blame.

I don't even know what to make of the marital institution. It shortchanges and deprives men of a lot of privileges. Sometimes, I think it's also unfavourable to women though to a lesser degree than men. Marriage isn't propitious and suitable in today's world where almost everyone wants to have autonomous control and freedom of their lives.

It robs one of their liberty and freewill to live their lives according to their personal dictates in an era when the world seeks to emancipate people from servitude and grant everyone freewill of their own choices.

I have in my solitude deliberate on the issue of marriage to understand the benefits of the institution to men folks and it appears I'm a habitual failure on it. It's a very dicey issue and I get even more flustered when I consider the kind of marriages we have in the West and the ruins it brings to men. Really crazy.

The number of people who are embracing these baby mama and daddy package is on the increase. Some women, just like men, prefer to have a baby without a fatherly/husband figure in their lives. That's also responsible for the boom in the IVF industry. Baby mama is here to stay.

More men needs kids than they need a wife. And if one can have kids without any nuptial commitment to their (kids) mum their life problems have been solved by half. For the most part, their freedom remains unscathed.

There are many married people who are still together just for the kids sake and not coz they are contended with the union. Also, there are some people whose primordial reason for ever wanting to get married is coz they want kids. These set of people should better adopt the baby mama and daddy option and rightly so.

Anyone who wants kids without marriage should be free to do so provided the other partner gives their consent.
