THREAD TITLE : Man Strangles 7 year old Boy To Death in Lagos mekaboy: I BLAME THE GOVT FOR THIS, AN IDLE MAN IS THE DEVILS WORKSHOP. THEY GOVT HAS TAKEN THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT MAKES PEOPLE CONSIDER THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR ACTIONS.(HOPE) THEY HAVE MADE THE YOUTHS HOPELESS, AND WHEN YOU LOOSE HOPE, YOU LOOSE VALUE FOR LIFE.
WHEN THE YOUTHS HAVE HOPE OF GETTING A JOB AFTER SCHOOL, THEY WILL READ. WHEN THEY HAVE HOPE THAT THE GOVT WILL SUPPORT THEM IN RESEARCH OR DEVELOPMENT, THEY WILL PUT THEIR BRAIN TO WORK AND CHANNEL THEIR ENERGY INTO POSITIVE THINKING.
IN THE COUNTRY NIGERIA, WHERE NOTHING WORKS ACCORDING TO PLAN ANYMORE, PEOPLE LOOSE HOPE AND VALUE FOR LIFE. THE YOUTHS ARE NOT CHALLENGED POSITIVELY, ALL THEY READ IS HOW ONE GOVT OFFICIAL LOOTED . NO JOBS, NO MOTIVATION, NO HOPE, NOTHING TO LOOK UP TO. IN THIS KIND OF SITUATION, ITS EASY FOR PEOPLE TO GIVE IN TO EVIL THOUGHTS WITHOUT CONSIDERING THE CONSEQUENCES.
I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE GUY IS RIGHT IN KILLING THE BOY, I AM SIMPLY SAYING THAT THIS IS THE PRODUCT OF THE ENVIRONMENT THAT THE CORRUPT POLITICIANS HAVE CREATED. AND IF SOMETHING IS NOT DONE SOON ENOUGH TO CREATE EMPLOYMENT AND GIVE BACK HOPE TO THE MASSES, MORE OF SUCH NEWS WILL ARISE.
FINALLY, I PRAY THE CHILD GETS JUSTICE AND THE KILLER EXPERIENCE THE FULL WRATH OF THE LAW. www.nairaland.com/1172131/man-strangles-7-year-old-boy-death |

Myne White: What does a girl have to do to get a guy to initiate a romantic relationship?
Will whatever she does have an effect on whether he makes the move or not?
Maybe a guy will initiate a relationship when he is ready and not before?
Or maybe a lady can just go ahead and initiate it?
http://www.mynewhitmanwrites.com/2013/01/when-will-guy-initiate-relationship.html @ bolded , that is a complete turn off for me, I do advice ladies not to be too forward.

DailyNews: If you are sure of yourself that u want to find a soulmate on nairaland, then follow these rules:
1. Be sure that u urself is okay (attractive to a good level and not idle with shabby manners if u are a girl, and goodlooking and not idle, poor and at least above average or average financially, if you are a guy)
2. Don't be desperate about it (both guys and ladies)
3. Do not search within the romance section; most ppl that cluster on the romance/meetup section are on a mission, some have fishy mission, some just came for a hidden purpose. So explore people on other sections (politics, joke, family, games, auto, literature, etc)
4. Don't rush to meetup and don't have high expectation. Stop dreaming that people u find online are Dangotes and Adenugas cos most aren't. And to the guys, stop believing that most girls online are sexy, trendy and ajebo (in naija slang, meaning ppl frm rich fam bckgrnd), see them as the same ordinary ppl u see around u n on d streets daily
5. Try and get their facebook ad, from the lists of their frnds u ought to see his/her fam members to confirm his/her identity, and u ought to check their facebook timeline to ascertain their true personality
6. Before meeting up, try chatting with them on skype or any other instant video streaming medium
7. You need to develop a decent personality on nairaland first to make decent, honest and reasonable ppl notice u n take u serious, else, u will only be meeting fake people who are on a mission
7. Always tell yourself the truth; every human has a shortcoming, be ready to accept their shortcoming while they do same for u.
Goodluck, but with the way people act on this forum, I doubt if well to do and mature people would ever want to find something serious here. All nairalanders need to start acting more reasonable in their comments n responses for good. Oga Daily himself has spoken. |
