Thanks, that makes sense, what are the pipe specs and plate design one should be looking at in a good door?

I usually look at plate that will not be quickly outdated ( just simple design that will fit in the structure)

Square pipe and frame should be thick one I.e 2mm or minimum 1.5mm

Also the lock should be ready made type.

Tiling about to start
Total area to be tiled both wall and floor is 1,800sqm (950 cartons of tiles)
All are Nigeria made tiles of good quality.

Saying 2" and then subtracting 4” is a source of confusion

Remember 1ft is 12"

That's why I always prefer metric

Don’t forget the side A of the frame is 50mm (2”) not 2’(f)
So as side B 50mm (2”) total =100mm (4”) to be minus from 3’(f)
You will now left with 2’8”(2ft 8”) as the opening for door leaf.

Yes it’s save us about 100 bags of pop cement and 70kg fillers

That is about N890,000

There are some things you don’t need to waste your money on while doing some finishing.

Like doing full pop work under slab on a rented apartment in some area where the value is not justifiable to the rent.

The money saved here is enough for us to be used for the compound flooring.
Which in turn is more valuable to the building than the slab pop work.
