Please guys, what is the best sequence, tiling and wall screeding? My engineer is saying that wall screeding should be done before tiles. I was of the opinion that tiles should be done so that the base won't require screeding after tiling but he made mention of sandpaper and painting. Is this correct?

It’s a storey building. And the criminal former Engineer used 6 inches all through upstairs. Someone said he is supposed to use 9 inches in some areas. The decking isn’t cantilever. I just don’t want the pipes showing from outside all through out the house (3 areas - Masters bathroom and two rooms upstairs which aligns with the two rooms downstairs) I’m being advised that cracking the wall may weaken the wall and lead to a collapse. I detest seeing duplex with pipes outside the wall and that’s what I’m trying to avoid.

Actually the Engr didn’t do bad work by using 6blk for the upper section of the building ,
It’s not a bad practice , infact in most area in eastern region they do construct this way but it’s just advisable to consider 9” Blk for external wall walls in upper part of such structure to accommodate pipe, burglar bars etc c easily.
As it’s the conduit piping system can still be achieved but it will required some wall chiseling by a good plumber to do this, All the vent pipe will be smaller diameter pipe like 75mm size.

Recheck the info again.. it’s possible we are not newbie in the construction industry, all we care about @arbo contractor Ltd is to make sure you get value for your money and also make sure middle/ low class people can get where they can call there own house without breaking the bank to get such.

Presently some members here are in discussion with me about how they can get this, possibly when it’s done I shall post it here for others to see.
