Talking about Russia manufacturing better hardwares at 1/3 the amount it costs US. How many Russian design military hardwares do u know that are superior to American hardwares?... Even the Russian AK47/AK74 assault rifles are terrible when compared to the M4/M16. Yes, it has better stopping power on impact, but of what good is the stopping power when about 4 out of 5 rounds fired misses it's moving target at about 100m?... Well, maybe they now have a better and more modern assault rifle sha.

US has the best Naval hardwares. They have better ships, more Aircraft carriers than other countries. Their attach helicopter; Apaches are far more sophisticated than Russian Mi24s. I think Russia has some very competent fighter jets though.

let state that Ak74 is better than American M4/M16 riffles that jam in the thick of battle; the only advantage the M16 have is range - M16 range is 650 mtrs while Russian very reliable Ak74 range is 600mtrs. Let talk about naval assets; American aircraft carriers cost billions but it takes just one Russian made anti ship missile called Brahamos to sink each one of them! I hope you can remember what just took place in Syria? The United States navy can only fire cruise missiles from very large warships and the best of their cruise missile range is just 250km while the Russians showed the world by firing their own cruise missiles from ships that are almost the size of a frigate and the cruise missiles range is 1,500km.

Further more, a Mi24 is a multipurpose helicopter that takes up the role of an attack helicopter and a lifter( personnel carrier ), it can also lift tanks etc.
Let me say that the United States know that there is an imbalance in military capabilities between them and Russia and they are trying to reduce them, that's why America keep trying to put anti missile defenses in between them and Russia because they know that only Russia can take them out but they try to hide the fact by saying that they are trying to counter Iran.

let me state that I don't see any need for Russia a country that can hit all American bases by the torch of a button to start opening bases all over the world like the united States.

Finally,the United States President Obama made a statement in the middle of the Ukrainian crisis; he said on CNN that no country in the world want to see actual combat between the United States and Russia.

Fact man, America is richer than Russia... and spends more money on building military defence than any other country on earth! it is hard to admit but Russian military is just not as strong as America's... the only thing the have on their side is Nuclear weapons, but so does India and Pakistan.

A fight between Russia and the US will come down to who has more money to sustain their troops longer in battle... clearly America!

It not about the total amount spent on the military but the actual amount spent on weaponry; the United States overhead cost is 5 times of that of Russia while America spend over 100 million dollar to manufacture a military platform, the Russians manufacture the same if not better for 1/3 of the same price.

The United States is funding several wars all over the world one way or the order & they give military aids to several countries eg Israel, Egypt which amount to around 8 billion dollars not to talk of other countries & NATO while the Russians really give military aids and if they do, they are in millions not billions like the United States.

Another thing is that the United States have military bases in every region of the world & this require lots of money to maintain while the Russians have very few.

Let me say that there ain't much differences as per as what both Russia & the united States spend on their military If we factor all these together.

Suspected ritualists dump woman’s corpse at Ogun refuse site

The body of a 23-year-old lady has been dumped at a dump site at the Olomoore junction in Abeokuta metropolis, with some persons of the body already removed.

The victim’s name was given as Sitira, and said to be an apprentice hairdresser.

Before her tragic death, she was said to have completed her apprenticeship and was preparing for her freedom.

Some residents of the area believed that she was a victim of ritualists.

It was gathered that Sitira’s corpse was allegedly thrown off a moving jeep at the Olomoore dump site located along the Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway in the early hours of Sunday.

Littering the site were ladies pants, brassieres, camisoles, lip sticks, powder kits, and nail-paint, which suggested Sitira might not have been the only victim.

Some metres away from the spot, where these items were seen, lay the half-clothed Sitira’s corpse, with her camisole and ‘leggings’ intact.

But close observation of her corpse revealed that substantial flesh from her right arm was cut off, with body fluid oozing out.

Meanwhile, a middleage woman, Esther Adewuyi, who identified herself as a relative of Sitira, spoke with the journalists amidst sobbing.

She said the 23-year-old lady, who lost her only child two years ago, had been living with her mother in the Iberekodo area of Abeokuta North Local Government.

Adewuyi said, “Sitira was an hair stylist apprentice and she was last seen in their house around 10pm on Saturday night where she and her mother discussed plans for her freedom.

“Nobody, including her younger siblings, knew when she went out.”

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed that Sitira must have been killed and dumped at the site.

He said, “We found the corpse in the area but we have taken the corpse to the mortuary.”
