Life is previous, let people follow peace with all men so that all men can have peace. Let me add that people need to think properly before taking actions as there is always a consequence afterwards if a wrong action is taking. NEWS 5 People Killed In Kwara Cult Clash As Police Arrest 10 , Ilorin Fri Jul 02 2021 Five people have been killed in the last 72 hours in a renewed cult clash in Ilorin metropolis, the Kwara State capital, Daily Trust has reliably gathered. After the killing of an unidentified youth on Tuesday in Erubu, Emir’s road area in Ilorin around 7 pm, it was learnt that another victim was killed in another area close by right in front of onlookers less than four hours later. The renewed supremacy battle, according to findings, was between members of Eiye and Aiye confraternities in the metropolis. Speaking on the issue, an eyewitness to the second killing, who craved anonymity for fear of being hunted, narrated that: “We all were busy watching the ongoing European Cup of Nations match between Ukraine and Sweden which ended very late in the night. “The assailants obviously were lurking around having tracked the victim to the viewing centre where we were. “Immediately after the final whistle, they came for him and announced to everybody they are there for their victim and not for anyone else. “They were five in number, they dragged him and brutally killed him. “The worrisome part of it was that they waited to confirm he was dead before they left the scene. “I have been hearing of cult-related killings for more than four decades, this is the first time I will be witnessing the barbaric act physically and I have been shivering ever since,” the source added. A top security operative in the state confided in our reporter that they have picked four corpses from various locations in the Ilorin metropolis since the first incident on Tuesday. He stressed that the cultists were becoming more daring. Meanwhile, the killing spree among the cultists continued Friday evening as another youth identified as Qudus Alaya was killed around the Idiagbon area of Ilorin. An eyewitness told Daily Trust that the victim was accosted, overpowered and hacked to death by five assailants around 6 pm. Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer of Kwara command, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, decry the incessant killing activities of the cultists. He stressed that it was time for the community and all relevant stakeholders to rise up and partner with the Police towards tackling the menace. He said: “I can confirm to you we have arrested no fewer than 10 suspects since the renewed clash three days ago. “The Commissioner of Police has given orders for us to go all out and apprehended the perpetrators and bring them to justice. “We have been raiding black spots and have made several arrests. “However, the Police cannot do it alone, we need the collaboration of all and sundry, especially on the aspect of information volunteering. “The perpetrators are not ghosts, they sure live here. Therefore, the people they live with know them. “We implore them to give them (the cultists) up by providing relevant information to the police,” he pleaded. My say; People need to understand that there is more to life than cultism and violence. From me....... Please hold on to God. 2 Likes |

some people and violence chai! People just got to change as change is the most constant thing in life. Cult violence claims one in Edo State , Benin City | 05 July 2021 | 4:01 am A member of a vigilance group, simply identified as Endurance, also known as ‘DMX,’ has been killed by gunmen suspected to be members of a cult group in Benin City, Edo State. The assailants allegedly trailed the victim from his home to a lottery betting shop, where he was shot three times at a close range, while others at the shop scampered to safety. The incident, which occurred about 6:00p.m. on Saturday on the Ologbotsere Street, off Benin Technical College (BTC), Ugbowo Quarters, in Egor Local Government Area, left residents in the community in panic. The vigilance group in the area immediately stormed the crime scene to rescue their colleague, but was found dead in the pool of his own blood. Angered by the killing, the vigilance group took to the street in a stop-and-search duty for the killers, but to no avail. Eyewitness account revealed that the assailants came in two vehicles, a Mercedes-Benz 4matic Saloon car and a Toyota Camry. It was gathered that the unknown gunmen zoomed off through the Medical Stores/Okhoro Road in Benin City. The corpse of the vigilance group member was later evacuated by the Okhoro Police Division in the area. The renewed cult violence, in the past one week, has claimed two lives so far in the area following the killing of Augustine Izu, a final-year Political Science student of University of Benin (UNIBEN), who was killed by unknown gunmen hours after writing his final examination. Izu was trailed to his off-campus hostel on Omage Street, off Federal Government Girls College Road (FGGC), Ugbowo, Benin, by his assailants who shot him dead in his room. Reacting, some residents decried the killings and condemned the untoward activities of some unscrupulous members of the vigilance group. A resident, who spoke in confidence, expressed worry over the actions of the vigilance group moving with arms and ammunition as well as shooting indiscriminately at social functions, including birthdays, funerals, and wedding ceremonies, particularly those operating in Benin City. IN a related development, students living in the UNIBEN Ekehuan campus area, in a chat with The Guardian, called on the state government and heads of vigilance group in the state to caution the Ogbe Quarters Vigilance Group in Oredo Local Government Council Area as they allegedly harass and intimidate residents. Two dead as rival cult groups clash in Benin By Kazeem Ugb- April 21, 2021 Rival cult clash leaves two dead in Benin By Jethro Ibileke/Benin A renewed cult clash between members of Aye confraternity( ) and Eiye confraternity groups, has reportedly resulted in the death of two persons in Benin City, Edo State. The recent clash was said to have begun on Saturday following the beheading of one of the victims identified simply as Ogbomo, allegedly by a rival group. He was reportedly hacked to death at about 4pm, along Esigie Street, by four assailants. Obviously angered by Ogbomo’s death, the other group was said to have retaliated his killing on Monday afternoon, as they shot dead a commercial bus driver, along 3rd Circular Road, by Esigie Junction. An eyewitness who simply identified himself as Okharedia, said: “I and other passengers boarded a commercial bus from Ekiosa market to New Benin. “Half way into the journey, an Audi saloon car drove dangerously from behind-obstructing our bus and forced the driver to stop. “The next thing was rag-tagged gunmen came out of the Audi car, dragged the bus driver out of the steering and fired him at closed range. “There was confusion as they [the hoodlums] fired sporadically and also dispossessed all passengers of their belongings. “I strongly suspect it is cult-killing, because I heard one of them was shot dead on Saturday. I think the government and security agencies should act fast,” he stated. ... My say.. People should understand that one man's action can lead to another man's counter reaction and as such, dialogue and common sense should prevail always.. Just look at it! What is the gain of these people that got killed from cultism when have the choice and opportunity to enjoy themselves with their family by simply staying alive? My say is that people should always give peace a chance instead of quickly resulting to violence!!!!!! However, make people dey always reason am say life no get duplicate!!!!!! 4 Likes |

Over 10 Youths Butchered To Death As Cult War Rages On Ekiti LAGOS APRIL 18TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The cult war between two rival groups, Eiye and Aye has left over 10 people dead between Saturday and Sunday, April 17 and 18, 2021 in Ikere-Ekiti in Ekiti State but the police confirmed number of casualties to be five. According to a reliable source who told SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS reporter on condition of anonymity, she said, “There was a particular guy simply known as Ojo Ale who was in Eiye Fraternity whom were told has left Ikere after about three months because of the alleged atrocity he has committed that was why he ran away from Ikere. He is an indigene of Ikere, he came to town on Friday thinking that people must have forgotten what he has done. “He came to attend the wedding of one of his friends, that was when his rival group, Aye confraternity(.)noticed he was around. He was allowed to attend the wedding but yesterday, Saturday,April 17, 2021, he was killed at the Ikere Town Hall on market day. “The information got to his members in Eiye group. There was a reprisal attack, they started killing themselves using cutlasses and sophisticated guns.” As at the time of filing this report, she said the corpses counted was up to 14. She added that police, soldiers are everywhere arresting youths who are not dressed properly even from their houses. From the information gathered the cultists who carried out the evil acts have fled the town. When I saw and read through the above before posting it to show part of the ills of cultism ; my advice is that people should try stay away from violence and everything that have to do with it. 5 Likes |

Newtelegraphng Metro & Crime Two Killed In Lagos Cult War Posted on March 4, 2021 Author T J Comments Off on Two killed in Lagos cult war Two members of Aiye confraternity have reportedly been killed by members of rival Eiye group at Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State. One of the deceased, identified simply as Ade, was hacked to death on Sunday about midnight at Imalefalafia area of the Lagos metropolis. The cultists cut the hands, legs and other body parts of the victim. A resident of the area, who gave his name as Abdullahi, described the incident as a reprisal. Abdullahi said two weeks ago, a member of Aiye cult group was killed by members of Eiye confraternity at Sapati area of Ibeju-Lekki while two other members escaped death but sustained varying degrees of injury. He said: “This is not the first time rival cult groups are killing each other in our area. About two years ago, heads and other body parts of rival cult group members littered everywhere in the Ajah and Ibeju- Lekki area. “This Aiye member that was killed was a well-known person in the community, but nobody knew he was into cultism. It was after he was murdered that everyone knew he was a member.” Abdullahi added that everybody was already in their houses when the incident occurred. He said: “Now nobody can stay outside till 8pm. That is what we are battling with in our area now.’ A woman, who gave her name as Iya Tosin, said Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki, was a dangerous place to live now, because the crime rate in the area wass high, compared to when she moved into the community. She said: “The reason why the cultists are killing one another is best known to them, because I do not understand why they should be killing one another. In the community, a lot of promising youths have lost their lives to cult wars and gangsterism. “Sometimes, when we are sleeping at night, we would hear gunshots everywhere in the community; when we are not at war front. Where they get the guns they are using is also another source of concern. “The Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, should come to our rescue, because we have nowhere to run to for safety.” A community leader, who doesn’t want his name in print, said they had made every effort to persuade the youth in the community not to join cultism, because “it kills faster than cancer”. According to him, with all their efforts and energy, some of the youth still see it as the best way to live. He said: “Like Iya Tosin said, we have lost many promising youths because of crime. Our area is even worse than Mushin. I am tired because we don’t know what to do next. “Policemen from Area J Command, Ajah, had come to educate the youth on several occasions to renounce their membership and advise those who are yet to join not to join because it would ruin one’s life.” The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, promised to get back to our correspondent. DANGOTE IS LOSING MONEY!!!! Forgot all the North propagandas as they're losing money heavily. Let them keep their food stuffs and let the South get alternatives in the South and in friendly neighboring benin republic, togo and cameroon. Southerners are doing better than the Northerners as they are panicking more but trying to suppress the news of their panicking. As already forecasted, drought would soon hits nothing less than 6 states in the North as per NIMET and the way things are they will be rushing to sell their animals to the South as cheap prices. However the below report by Bloomberg is on Dangote... Dagote, the founder of Africa’s most diversified manufacturing conglomerate, Dangote Industries, has seen his net worth decline by a whopping $1.20 billion in the month of February alone. Africa’s richest man whose wealth peaked at $18.4 billion this year, saw his wealth declined by $1.20 billion, to $16.6 billion from $17.8 billion recorded on the 31st of January 2021, data retrieved from Bloomberg Billionaire Index reveals. By Clever Advertising Source: Bloomberg Billionaire Index The fall in Dangote’s net worth is partly attributable to the decline in the share price of his flagship company, Dangote Cement Plc (DCP), as well as the share price of his integrated sugar business, Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc (DSR). The decline in the share price of these companies which impacted their market capitalization was occasioned by profit-taking activities by investors in February. Facts about Dangote’s networth valuation The majority of Dangote’s fortune is derived from his 86% stake in the publicly-traded Dangote Cement, as the billionaire holds the shares of the company directly and through his conglomerate, Dangote Industries. He holds stakes in Nascon Allied Industries and United Bank for Africa, directly and through Dangote Industries, a conglomerate that also owns closely held businesses operating in food manufacturing, fertilizer, oil and other industries. Dangote’s most valuable closely held asset is his fertilizer plant with a capacity to produce up to 2.8MT of urea annually. The $2.5 billion fertilizer plant owned by Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote, is expected to commence operation in the first quarter of 2021. The billionaire also owns a $12 billion oil refinery which is expected to be completed this year. However, the plant is not included in his net worth valuation, for some reason. What you should know The shares of Dangote Cement at the close trading activities for the month of February declined by 6.78%, extending the YTD loss on the shares of the cement behemoth to over 10%. On the flip side, shares of Dangote Sugar Refinery also declined by 15.29% to close the month lower at N18 per share, thus correcting the YTD gains of its shares to 2.27%. The above is just an example what they are going through but are still trying to spread propagandas!!! Learnt some of their traders bringing perishable items to the South were crying live about their loses in some market few days ago. Let people know that the North are suffering the blockade more than the South as Agriculture is their lifeline and they are losing huge amount of money already. As per several authenticated news, Banditry have also increased in the North and the herdsmens that left the South have started causing trouble in Kaduna. I pity the innocent up North but it's not the South's fault but that of those controlling them and they always gladly follow what they are told sheeply without checking out facts. Anyway, May God bless the South forever. 1 Like |

O boy you people's economy and region is wack as the North can't survive without the South The south west economy is far larger and bigger than that of the North. ( These are facts that you and people like you can't contest or change) You people can try cook up figures to try cover up but the facts and correct statistics are always out in the open. Lagos have the largest economy and IGR in Nigeria, Ogun have the 3rd largest IGR which is 90% of that of kaduna and your Kano that you rate so high combined. The North should just swallow it pride as things are mostly not in their favor forget the nepotism where you people like putting your people in positions they ain't qualified for. Facts point to it that the north would have been like mali if not for the south who is their saving grace. |

Holocene:Recheck your facts as 90% of those items are supplied by Northerners. Northern traders are lamenting already of their loses. Let them keep the blockade on and riots will soon hit the North as their financial loses is steadily rising and most of their food stuffs are not been bought in the countries they took them to for sale. The truth is that population of the south west alone is more than that of chad and Niger Republic combined. Who dey suffer loss? Please do the maths. 2 Likes |

mensos544:the south west also generate electricity. All they have to do is stop medicine and heath care products from going to the north. They should also stop educational materials from going to the north. Kolanut, rubber, petrol, diesel and petroleum products which are gotten from ondo and Lagos state. Bitumen which are also gotten from ondo state should be stopped too. Frozen fish and other sea foods should also be stopped. Buying of all northern agricultural products should be rejected by the south west and the ones produced in the South West should be purchased as well as those from benin republic and togo. Sell yours to cash strap countries who already have what you are talking to them.( Even they are not buying most of your products and the perishable ones are getting spoilt.... O boy Your people are doing give away in those countries!!!!) We hear all about it as it not hidden. Other items can be stopped too From going to the north as things escalate. Anyway Let see how Slowpokes with cow brains will survive up there.( All those who think the north can subdue the south west) I believe there are some sensible ones up north but let see who count their loses more as NIMET for casted that drought would soon hit at least 5 States in the north. Please don't run to the south west but stay in the north. 2 Likes |

Dpharisee:You said it all. Their initial gragra would soon end!!! Even the climatic condition in some part of the North will make some of them run to the South. Beware of famine! Full list of states, communities to experience drought in 2021 The federal government on Tuesday, February 2, warned that some states in the northern part of the country may experience a brief spell of drought between the months of June and July 2021 due to weather change. Speaking in Abuja at the 2021 Seasonal Climate Prediction (SCP), minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika, made the disclosure on the severe dry spells. He urged farmers to embark on "soil-moisture conservation techniques" to reduce chances of crop failure during the period, Daily Sun reports. Hadi Sirika says some states will experience drought in 2021. Credit@Hadisirika While maintaining that climate change may bring big damage to farming and other ventures, and cause famine, Sirka tasked the states to adhere to the forecast by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) in order to prevent bad consequences. He gave the states as: 1. Kebbi 2. Sokoto 3. Zamfara 4. Katsina 5. Yobe 6. Borno He gave the local government areas and communities to be affected as: Arewa Dandi Birnin Kebbi Argungu, Augie Kebbi Illela Gada Tangaza Gudu Sabon Birni Sokoto Shinkafi Birnin Magaji Maradun Zurmi Zamfara Kaita Mashi Mai’Adua Katsina Dutsi Daura Baure Zango Katsina Gwiwa Yankwashi Gumel Birniwa Sule-Tankarkar, Guri Kiri Kasama Jigawa Machina Nguru Yusufari Yunusari Karasuwa Barde Jakusko Geidam Yobe and Abadam Mobbar Kukawa Guzamala Gubio Nganzai Monguno Borno state "The normal to above normal rainfall pattern in the country will lead to the possibility of isolated flash floods due to increasing high intensity rainfall at the peak of the season, especially in areas that are naturally prone to flooding," Sirka also added.Meanwhile, with coronavirus taking a dangerous curve on the country, the presidential task force on Monday, February 1, announced the list of five states and 22 local government areas in Nigeria with a large spread of the COVID-19 infection. Addressing pressmen during a media briefing in Abuja, the national coordinator of the PTF, Dr Sani Aliyu, warned Nigerians against travelling to the affected states. According to him, the high-burdened states and LGAs contribute to 95% of the daily infection. He gave the states, as sighted by Legit.ng as Yobe, Jigawa, Zamfara, Kebbi and Kogi. The south should retaliate in kind. Stop medicine and health care products from going north. Stop educational materials from going north Stop kolanut. Cocoa. Rubber. Cotton. Hard wood from going north. Stop frozen fish with other sea foods from going north Stop finished goods from going north Reduce the quality of vehicles and machinery spare parts going north The price of above items in stock overthere in the north will skyrocket. Save petroleum products and bitumen for the last. The south is more powerful than the north when it comes to blockade as southern economy can withstand whatever they plan but northern economy will crumble fast if the South retaliate in kind 4 Likes |

Calypso80:the government only have control over petroleum but the South can mobilise to stop it from going north and the nnpc reserve over there will run dry. If the government is seen to favour or back them. Then guys should turn off every pipeline that takes oil up north. Medicine and other health products are majorly going from the South to the north. Kolanut. Rubber. Cotton. Hardwood and Education materials just to mention a few if stopped from going north by the South will reset their iq. |

The south should stop kolanut. Rubber. Hardwood. Educational materials. Medicine. Other Health products and other finished good from getting to the north to start with. The south can get the same agricultural products coming from the north from benin republic and cameroon easily. Ecowas free trade is legally binding as their brothers in the customs are helping them to get some of their farm products out to Niger republic. All the export the customs are saying are just propaganda nothing more. Petroleum products and bitumen should be stopped from going north after the first blockade. The south should also boycott everything coming from the north. Let see who blinks first. 1 Like |

Rawhumper:The North see the South West/Yorubas has the only obstacle to their agenda to take over the South and claim it. They Know it's the Yorubas that is the glue holding Nigeria together and ones the Yorubas opt out, then Nigeria is finish. People fail to understand that the 3 largest ethnic groups/tribes in Nigeria is Hausa, followed by Yorubas and igbos; the hausas reside in the North while the other 2 reside in the South. The Hausa tribe population is 4% more than that of Yoruba and the Yorubas are 3% more than the Igbos; to me the difference is very little and as such they should never try to Lord over each other, likewise other tribes even though the 3 major tribes make up 64% of Nigeria population. The tribes that comes next after them are Ijaws, benins who also reside in the South, then Kanuris in the North( Even the Kanuris are rumoured to be cousins of the Yorubas), then the ibibios who also reside in the South and then Tivs who also reside in the North. So let me say that Nigeria population between the North and South is almost evenly distributed as well as the 2 major religion.( The actual difference is about 2%) The real census results shows this and it eroding fast in favor of the South. Let me say that fulanis are minority in Nigeria but use the hausa as a shield when it's in their own interest.( That's when you start hearing Hausa Fulanis!!! Not hausa separate and Fulani separate) The truth is that the Yorubas still out number the Fulanis even if each tribes population all over the world are still included. Yorubas hate no one but only detest those who hate them, commit criminal activities against them and as well as those who wish them evil . (They don't even spare their own who do evil; so why will some other tribe want to try to Lord over them) They won't continue to accept people killing their own as their is a limit to what they can tolerate. The entire South have to wake up and stand their ground just like the North quickly do with their ACF meetings even though benue, southern kaduna and plateau leaders still going them despite them being at the receiving end of the criminal herdsmen and bandits. The Northern leaders better call the blood thirsty criminal ones from the North to order and stop their nepotism so that peace would reign as not doing so may divide the Country called Nigeria faster than they think or expect. |
