I have read the so -called naijamediablunders and the whole thing is below my expectation. I agree with you that we need Professionals in certain posts but my arguement is that positive performance should be a yardstick for accessing our ministers and leaders not just blowing good English! Mrs Fedria Waziri speaks better English than Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. But comparing their performances in EFCC is like comparing an orange to an apple.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO DUBAI? I WAS THERE RECENTLY AND THEIR CROWN PRINCE SPOKE VIA AN INTERPRETER! Their country works because of the honesty of their leaders, not the Queen's English which an avarage Asian will refuse to speak yet China, KOREA, India and Malayasia are wonders. Honestly, We are far behind due to sentiment like yours! Dora is qualified because she had professionals under her! I would have even prefer her as works or power minister

If someone uses "harlot" as a screen name, I will just say, oh that's a saint pretending or in a making, then I will recommend it as a child's baptismal name! What a faith!

Pls the election of a black Pope should not consume our time. As a Catholic, my main concern and ernest prayers is for a Pope after the heart of God not if the person is a black, Yellow or white. As for the racial angle, I must thank God that our Cardinals have almost taken away the Papacy from the Italians whom it seems before to be their birth-right. Now, it is within Europe, maybe as it pleases God, utmost part and other parts of the world will soon produce a Pope!

the meaning of the word lady is the same no matter the background. So if Fela, Daniel Webster or any other person uses it, we know the meaning. Pls we are dealing and discussing spiritual matters not romance or petty things and it is a wonder that you consider it a judgement for correcting her or raising the issue up! She should choosen Lucifer or Satan since it concerns no body!

As for the 9 day novena, you are being redundant, novena means 9 anyway, so no need to add the 9 days in front. But to do a novena because seagoddess chose that name is ridiculous. You have no idea why she chose it, it doesn't imply that she is mammy water, and you are being rude to her. You owe her an apology in my opinion.

Thanks for the clarifications but I totally disagree with you that I owe seagodess an apology or that I am being rude to her! Infact, she is the one that owe us, her brethren, an apology. And no explanation on her part will justify the name, seagoddess! It glorifies demons in the sea and she can't bear it and be talking about favourite saints in heaven.

With due respect to those their dads were freemasons and those praising them to high heavens for enlightment and all manner of things, FREE MASON IS A SECRET OCCULTIC SOCIETY. It is one of the few groups in the world that both Christians, Muslims and Jews forbid their members from joining. A Catholic that openly join the masons is automatically excommuicated. Masons don't mention God by name, they refer to God as a supreme being. Ironically, modern reseach has proved that the masons worship satan as their supreme being! The 14th level master mason is believed to have seen devil face to face! Their membership book is called craft, short for witchcraft!

My heart and prayers are for the Anglicans but they must purge themselves of that name "PROTESTANTS". When King Henry V111 protested agaist the Catholic law that stopped him from marrying Ann because Kate could not bear him a male son, he sowed a serious seed of rebellion in The Anglican Church he started. TODAY, more and more rebels are now tearing the Bible apart in the name of liberal theology & protesting divine laws.

@ Lady. We thank God so much for the diversity of spirituality in our Church. I am always amazed whenever I pray with various groups that their prayers are fervent and powerful. But, I am also worried that some Catholics are stuck on few prayers to one saint or their other and hardly know the joy of spontanous prayers to Jesus Christ.

@ Pls we have to do 9 days novena to St. Jude{in charge of difficult cases} so that our sister will drop her username, SEA-GODDES. Though it her right and choice but I think a person that started a post like this should know the implication of giving the glory of God to Satan and his agent

the thread is on one's favourite saint and not on belief in intercessions by the saint! one can believe in the teaching of the intercessions of the saint without having a favourite saint. it is not a must! identity of a true catholic does not lie on having any favourite saint or membership of jesuits, opue dei or any other group in the church. cradle catholics, ghetto catholics and post-vatican two catholics are miles apart but still in one church. that my lady, is the beauty and mystery of our church
