Temmie10:Am i saying what i think you are trying to say You seem to be talking CICO/RO-RO language abi you don join that side? ![]() |
lumidii:Ah Thank God for that clarification. Well it makes sense if they have a new multi-billion radial tyre plant and they need to shut down old and probably unprofitable/unproductive plants so be it. The problem is with the way the info was disseminated. Sometimes the presentation is as important as the substance. Catch my drift? |
lumidii:I beg where you get this one from o? Enlighten the house. They have just spent N8B most of the proceeds from the last PO on a radial tyre plant |
bigjay01:That is not exactly unexpected if you read what i posted yesterday! So if you think there's value in buying the stock opportunity for you to join the BUS |
please. can someone help me with this problem. i bought dangote flour during ipd and i have not received my return money or my certificate please if anyone can tell what to do about this, i bought it from GTB bank. thanks for your anticipated reply.
Someone has already posted the phone number so i wont bother repeating it again but in case you having difficulty getting though try this other number 01-815 2470. i noticed you are abroad so what you do if you cant physically attend is write a letter of authorization for someone you trust with the details of your application and signed by you then ask the person to take the letter with their identification to the GTB branch where you purchased the shares and your cheque must be waiting there for you |
LondonCool:I meant the National Housing Federation Trust Fund. You seem knowledgeable on these things as per some of your posts i have read. Apparently you need to be paying about 2.5% of your salary into the fund to be able to qualify for preferential mortage rates. I no dey get salary for Nigeria so would like to know how it worked for you. I will yarn with you later back to watching the NSE and its gyrations ![]() |
yodiyokun:The time person go dey enjoy for all these banking stocks na when all the ones wey dey overweight come offload the excess weight by doing a share reconstruction. dey no go dey fit give bonus yanfu yanfu again and the price go just dey go on soun. Oceanic and Intercontinetal spring to mind |
yodiyokun:All the banking stocks wey i get them they serve life sentence for my long-term portfolio. I dey go on shopping spree for FBN |
yodiyokun:If the hype surrounding ABC is true its very good for CICO. If you want BetaGlass for medium-long term you go wait small make him offload the contraband wey him carry. But we spoke about ABC about 2 weeks ago na. You for don make your 25% commot So you no dey for CICO and RO-RO? |
greentree:I checked with my broker and they told me they had no idea but then i dont expect them to know anything of that sort So what sayest thou? |
I have been aiming to sell my Dangote Sugar as soon as they will release result thinking that that would move the stock, NOW the very REVERSE is the case. Yes, the price will trend up, BUT WHEN?? If people are not impressed with BONUS and DIVIDEND, and are obsessed with LOSSES ![]() Just wondering? I wish I had sold it when it rose to N51
This NSE make we just bow.I sold john Holt almost 2 weeks ago and the thing is still gaining max everyday infact it has not dropped its price for the past 3-4 weeks and i'm not even aware of any results they have released of recent either IMPRESSIVELY BAD OR IMPRESSIVELY GOOD. At least that way i for sabi the thing wey dey push am The fear of NSE is the beginning of wisdom ![]() |
yodiyokun:If you havent hit ABC do so in the next 2 days if the rumours of an impending PO are confirmed you know what's going to happen. Fundamentally BetaGlass appears most attractive but i think that one don dey fly now and NiwiCable hmnnnnn the jury is out on that one. And you know as well as i do fundamentals and good results do little or nothing on the NSE nowadays. I get ABC and Niwicable. Go for the Alphabets for a quick hit |
Iwerebor:Especially if a lot of their clients are now addicted to doing CICO and RO-RO ![]() |
rasputinn:Yep PAT FYE '07 N13.895B 4.5% increase over previous year and a dividend of N1.20 closure date 9 May 2008. The results and dividends didnt move the price though! Another one for Mr Risky's list ![]() |
NSE Bad stocks with impressive results: COMPANIES WITH NSE FUNDAMENTALS: Did I hear someone say "the list is endless, jare"
THE LIST IS ENDLESS JARE ![]() |
Its December but i think they released the results already not sure though |
LondonCool:I beg Londoncool you will need to yarn me about this NHFTF and this hot-shot consultant with Natwest. I go e-mail una later on |
rasputinn:If the volumes are thinning out it means the reversal may be fleeting. You need more volumes to sustain the bullish reversal which means i would be able get some more at the nearest bus-stop. I wont be surprised if the reversal does not last more than a couple of days |
aktopgun:Right actually i think they call this formation mysterious/long shadows abi? The long lower shadow means the buyers were able to whip the sellers into submission and drove the closing above the opening price Like you i'm happy with what's going on ![]() |
debenzd:I dey that one and i don reserve another passenger seat! The FYE is due anytime from now i think' it should be possible to scrape another25% from that one before he begin make return journey to Niger Delta Thanks for the stuff you posted last friday quite useful |
Dunlop did a spinning top and considering that this is within the context of a downturn i expect that the price will start creeping up again it did a reasonable volume and the bulls are definitely back to kick buttsthey are ready to whip the bears into submission |
aktopgun:ABC did a RED MARUBOZU today which is a definite confirmation of the BULLISH REVERSAL that started last friday so i'm afraid its still going to shed a few more pounds and KG's in the days ahead. The volumes is thinning out so that's a bit hmnnnnnnnnnn |
aktopgun:That one is red-hot! I was hoping for it to slow a bit so i can load some more but looks like i might to wait a few more days |
pumping777:A lot of peeps also like to sell before the dividends are applied because the price will be marked down by the dividend paid and you also have to pay taxes on your dividends so no show there! I hope he has stopped that nonsense with paying dividends quarterly |
aktopgun:He be like say wetin you get now don pass winch level. You don dey do rubber neck view my post before you post |
aktopgun:And ABC but i think what happened today is a confirmation of what we said last friday. I think its still going to drop for a few more days. Bullish reversal trend has been confirmed by the drop today |
windywendy:Did you say Bad? This is a cataclysm of titanic proportions wish i could find a stronger adjective to qualify the qualifier They have managed to increase their 3Q losses by 1248%! To imagine that this was a stock that was on an extended bull-run a while ago on this same NSE beggars belief! |
Naijadr:Dunlop and ABC are CICO but with ABC you need to be careful though especially if the rumours of an impending PO start gaining currency you can expect an upside to the price on the short run there are also rumours of a bonus and new businesses but know when to get out! I'm in there by the way Chellarams and Beta Glass are fundamentally strong and will pass both CICO and medium-long term tests. Infact i have a forward PE of 14.3 for Chellarams and 17.2 for Beta Glass sure the selection looks reasonable to me |
aktopgun:There's only one result we are all standing on. The one that the ready writer HIMSELF has signed and sealed with the precious blood of the Lamb. Bad news will not travel in the direction of your household in Jesus name! |
@Roughcut, Sorry I specifically mention you this time, and ,please oblige. What is all the stories around ABC? Are we expecting a fantastic End of year result, and therefore juicy rewards to investors? or they have won a high ticket contract? What has been the push? Please if anyone can throw in more light.
Rumours of a bonus and imminent FYE results and the are in pole-position to run the railway network franchise and the Fed Govt will be giivng them billions or is it millions ?of naira in subsidiies to do so. |
aktopgun:At least we are saying the same in different styles. So i go be your back-up for candles and sticks ![]() |
pumping777:Yep so if it dips lower we load some more but you need to know when to get out which is why i said i have refined my strategy because i was going to sleep on this one but not anymore! |
This NSE make we just bow.
. But then again, with this NSE sef, the stock price might still keep moving up despite the result.
Phewww goodluck to anyone else still on board, the price is way too outrageous, wont let greed get to me!!
