@debrief, what i realy meant was that who could blame a mother for being over protective and wanting the best for her son? Just reading all her post on how the baby was born made me swear never to blame my mum for some harsh(supposedly) decisions she took on me. Why will i not make her happy?

My little nephew who's dad is american was brought to "africa" for one of my sister's wedding. On sunday after the wedding,my mum wanted to go show him off in church. She dressed him up in a fine lace attire,she put on some nice cap and beads on his neck. The boy screamed at her "i dnt need it" and pulled off the cap and beads. We all asked him why? He said "i havent seen any monkey since i came". We asked where he wanted to see the monkies? He said dad told me we are going to see lots of monkies here. The mum was so embarrased. I travelled home to go check my dad who just came back from the states 3 days ago. When it was night time,he asked me to go downstairs and tell the tenant to put off his gen set by 11pm cos he would like to catch some sleep. I couldnt do it,just went downstairs,chatted with the guy and came back upstairs to tell him the guy has some office work to finish on his laptop. Note,he only has the tenant cos he doesnt want the house vandalised when we all are away. He also sleeps by 9.30pm latest. The gen is close to his room. The tenant puts the gen on till his petrol runs out. Is it right 4him to give a time limit to the tenant to put off his gen? What is the best approach?

Its pure foolishness hanging on a moving car. Av seen some idiots do it on my street. They put their feet on the bumper and hold on to the roof rack. Well,maybe it was blessing in disguise 4him as he might be dead if he was in the car. Guess he got thrown off before the car over turned.

1. You tip-toe to your kitchen around 2a.m to steal some fried xmas chicken,when u put on the kitchen light,you saw your dad sitting down in darkness eating the chicken too.
