"The lawmaker...noted that the party had learnt its lesson," yet they can't be responsible enough to apologise to Nigerians for putting this nation in the mess we are in today. Nigerans still talk about PDP because APC don't seem to know what they are doing. |
Neither APC nor Fayose is doing this nation any good. They should both spare us this show of shame. As it stands now, even HOPE that was hopeless in the last elections might be hopeful especially if they will be in accord with ACCORD and with one heart, doggedly labour with LABOUR and present a fresh candidate from FRESH or a relation of late Yakowa or Ifeanyi Okowa through KOWA. I pray God heals our president and brings him home to finish his tenure and spare us all this National embarrassment. |
tundexijim:My point of view exactly! As a matter of facts, opposition will be more effective when the opposer present superior information, proper analysis of problems, possible solutions in a way that shows he/shs intends to make things work and not to pull down the incumbent. I learnt that in any battle, fighting your 'enemy' with love guarantees victory. |
excel101:APC or Mr. Buhari? But how long must this continue? I don't think this is healthy for our volatile democracy and continued peaceful coexistence. |
bankylan:As for someone like me? Watin I do naa? ![]() Well, for your information, I'm neither a supporter of PDP nor APC. I am a supporter of good conscience, love, peace, ethnic/religious tolerance... Now, to Fayose. I don't think opposition is same as insulting and attacking a person that has done you no personal harm. If you followed the events before the elections, you would noticed that Fayose kept attacking Buhari and his family. One would expect that since the elections are over and the man you are attacking - far older than you - has refused to join issues with you, you will let him be. Be honest, if Buhari were to be president during PDP era, do you think Fayose will be as free as he is today? Now he has the ambition of being president. What do you think will happen if he becomes president? The circle goes on I guess? Is that what you wish for country? Looking forward to hearing from you... |
pauljumbo:I agree with you, but when we allow a wrong for too long, it becomes a norm. |
![]() The beauty of democracy is having a credible opposition to keep the incumbent's nose on the grin. But when the oppostion is championed by an "irresponsible clown" with "non-existent esteem," I wonder if any opposition actually exist. Prof., take am easy o...no b all of us go school... ![]() |
Negotiate for what? How have previous agitations and negotiations affect the region and the citizens if not to enrich yourself and turn a set of people who should ordinarily be treated as criminals into millionaires? What is happening to the funds given to us though NDDC, OMPADEC, Ministry of Niger Delta and Amnesty Programme? |
Josmila:So unfortunate bro! |
Ok. I must commend your commitment. By the way, those who solicit arms for war or terrorism don't do so in public forums. They don't post the conversation online or on the plain public web. Nope. This is why I think NK is not as smart as people think he is. Get this straight, he never envisaged where he is today. He is be reactive, exploiting the apparent weakness in this almost non-existing government. Those people clearly told him his request was treasonous. Thing is, I am not in support of a lot of Kanu's rhetorics or his penchant for insults. I also fear about his capability to let go of power when necessary; as well as his ability to foster tolerance among his people. Outside those, I am pretty much convinced that he is very authentic, fatally dedicated and extremely passionate about his vision for Biafra. Don't forget to add the destruction of the value for respect for elders and constituted authorities. This is a precedence that will haunt the entire Igbo race if nothing is consciously done to halt this action. Mark my words. If Biafra comes, it will marked with frequent uprisings and toppling of constituted authorities.
|
deji68:Ok. Thanks. That's all I wanted to know. I don't like 'too much propanganda' myself. |
deji68:But are they there in the first place? |
fratermathy: ![]() Biafra is going to be interesting..... |
NwaAmaikpe:Guy, though you tend to be controversial, but you are a 'nutural' when it comes to intelligence. Please use it for societal development! |

Come! Oboy! If you hit my guy that thing, you go sleep for the nearest police station o... ![]() |
dumodust: ![]() I think they are 'cos nobody is irredeemable. It's just that anger and hate have a way of suppressing our sense of reasoning. |
paschu:It's ok. But hope you saw the video when he went to the US to solicit the support of the Igbos in the US. He clearly said he needed weapon and that it's Biafra or everybody dies. If you watch that video with an open mind, you will know NK cannot withstand any debate because even those our brethren there engaged him and he could not defend his position. I strongly recommend you watch that video from start to finish 'cos I did. |
SegunAdewole:I didn't and don't claim to be lettered but one way of knowing a lettered man is in his ability to have an open mind and tolerate other peoples opinion. I don't usually say what I don't have any idea about. So let's assume you are right, will this tactics of hate, anger and insult bring about the much needed referendum? For you information, I sincerelly hope Biafra comes, but... |
SegunAdewole:No. That's not exactly the narrative but because when this agitation started, that was the major theme. But since the 'whole world' has come out to acknowledge that all Nigerians are marginalized and therefore, that's not a good enough reason, the song is changing just like it has changed from the initial 'we need guns and ammunitions because it is either Biafra or everybody dies' to 'we are calling for referendum and not war.' The latest being this call for a debate. |
Yyeske:I followed the live biafra radio broadcast on the 22 of July and my heart bled. Every notable Igbo man has been insulted and called all manner of names. From Peter Obi to Obiano to all the leaders of Ohanaeze, I mean, everybody. My questions is, who else is relevant in igboland? When Uwazurike reawakened this struggle, he was the hero, today they insult him with passion. How do we explain that of all the son and daughters of Igboland, NK is the only 'intelligent' one? |
BiafraIShere:Sometime when I read things you guys write online, I just find myself speechless. Do you mean to tell mean NK is smarter than all Nigerians put together? I am sure NK can't stand side by side somebody like Prof Charles Soludo not to talk of tens of thousands of intelligent men and women even in the East. Do you debate is about hate sppeechs? Are you aware NK presented 'truth and facts' that; 99.9% of Igbo ladies are prostitudes? That any Igbo who attends a church pastored by a Yoruba is a imbicile and not fit to be considered a human being (when asked sometime ago if he has changed in tought on this he said yes, that the Yorubas have changed) I've said this before and I say it again, NK mess up big time if engaged in a debate. The reason FGN won't engage him is for National security. |
Obi1kenobi:I agree with you but I also think the FGN just decided to allow him some space, having examined his antics, to expose to the whole world and the Igbos (who refused to speak up when they should have) specifically the other side of him. Truth is, as long as this continues, the entire region will suffer for it. |
NtoAkwaIbom:Eyen eka mmi, mbok take it easy with them. No ne everything eye see or ear hear mouth dey talk. |
ofuonyebi:Ofuonyebi déélé? Ibú onye Ukwani? |
owobokiri:Ameeeeeeen! |
Grundig:I don,t think so. Ipob had given them a chance to, one way or the other, win. |
attackgat:And then what? |
magoo10:Ofcourse NK cashed in on the anger, frustration and hunger of the people to get this far, but let me ask you; do you honestly believe he will succeed further with his strategy. Gradually, he is about to pitch his people against his people. As it stands now, if the FGN decides to ignore IBOB, the East as a whole would suffer for it most just like the North East. Businesses and investors will start relocating to neighboring towns like Asaba, Uyo, PH etc. for fear of outbrake of violence. If we must get it right, we need to; define our goal, identify our problem and those behind it, channel our greviancies against our ineffective politicians and very importantly, strengthen our alliances accross sister regions (unfortunately, we are doing the opposite here). Boycotting the elections will do us no good. Whether it is successful or not, it will only put the region in a bad light. |
mormonslayer:"Nnamdi Kanu...has put Anambra and the whole of Igbo on the map. Igbo is just trending every where in the world these days" for the right reasons and in a good light? |
onwubuya:Onwubuya! That name sounds familiar. |
iabdulrazaq: ![]() Alright. What's the moral of the story? No kill me laf abeg |
I am not surprised. I knew from the begining Wike was 'planted' in Rivers to get at Amaechi. Amaechi was a good man until he stood his grounds against intimidation. If PDP had won at the Federal level, Amaechi's name would have been 'sorry.' Ordinarily, heads should roll but we are in Nigeria. This is a 'family matter' that will be settled within 'family member.' |
