I think Nigeria has been helping the Haiti people even before the quake Mpele.I read somewhere that Nigeria had peacekeepers in Haiti.Which means there is possibility that Nigerians might have lost some of their countrymen in this quake. I would love to take credit but I cant. |
Give the CAF presidency to South Africa if you want African football to develop. |

Koreans leave on a high Posted: 2010-01-15 09:08 South Korea’s Taeguk Warriors ended their three-match tour of South Africa on a high yesterday when they beat Bay United 3-1 at Port Elizabeth’s Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. The Koreans, who will be back for the World Cup in June, head to Malaga, Spain for their next friendly against Finland. Their coach Huh Jung-Moo was happy with the tour: “We played our first two matches at high altitude, but we were more comfortable here in Port Elizabeth. The experience we gained today will definitely help us for our very important opening game of the World Cup against Greece,” he told the Herald newspaper. Umlilo coach David Bright was equally pleased with having had the opportunity to hone their skills against a national side like Korea. “Never mind the result, we played well. It was a good experience for us to play against a well-conditioned side like Korea, especially since we just returned from the festive season break. “The game provided good preparations for us for our next five games in the league as we look to fight our way into the Premier Soccer League at the end of the season,” said the Bay mentor. The Koreans also downplayed safety concerns in South Africa during the World Cup in June, saying they felt “very safe” in the country. “Since we arrived, we have had a visible police presence around us and we have no fears at all. We are really enjoying our stay. The people are very kind and there is great hospitality,” said team media spokesman Ilki Park. Kickoff.com |

This is a reason why Steven Bantu Biko words when he said 'BLACK MAN YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN' inspires me.For me it means as black people we should put our heads down and work our butts of for what we want and believe in.Your haters will talk and try to discourages you but you must never loose focus. It's only a matter of time before Africa rises again, and the people who thought they where created superior are shaking in their pyjamas because they think we will kill all of them and despoil their daughters and wifes.I think as Africans wherever you are,you should make it your project to do things that will benefit your house, street, neighborhood, suburb, town, city, province, state, country, region and your continent. We have all the knowledge, information, experience and wisdom to make Africa succsesful.Let it begin with you and me.Let's do it for ourself. TIA movement. |

I thought I should update Nigeria on Korea's preparation, they're currently based in South Africa. Posted: 2010-01-13 09:02 South Korea’s coach Huh Jung-moo has warned his players that they have work to do after playing to a goalless draw against Platinum Stars in Rustenburg yesterday. The Taeguk Warriors arrived in South Africa at the start of the year to prepare for matches against Argentina, Greece and Nigeria at the 2010 World Cup in June. The Zambia defeat was a wake-up call for the 2002 World Cup semifinalists, who are looking for the right combination in attack. With star striker Park Chu-young busy with AS Monaco commitments in Europe, coach Huh is trying to cast his net far and wide. “We are continuing to evaluate candidates to fill the striker position, but if the current group of players fail to meet expectations in the friendly matches leading up to the World Cup, we will have to do without them,” Huh told the Korean media yesterday. Nigeria is going down, your players cannot run,I think majority are in their late thirties.Having witness your uselss team now I have a renewed hope in South Africa to do well during the world cup. My predictions are Naija will win 1-0 against Benin and lose with the same margin against Mozambique.Egypt and Moz will go through this group. I have alsways admired the Naija players, but have always maintain that the Supe Eagle as team suck big time.Just like anything Nigerian they win games and tournaments with their mouths. Can you believe that most of think Nigeria is a leading football and the best African football team? Yet in all their history they've won the cup that is played every two years just twice? only twice? African powerhouses are Egypt,Ghana,Cameroon.Nigeria is not there yet, hope they won't disgrace us during the World Cup.I wish you people learn to sometime shut your mouths and speak with your actions.Intelligent people do that. |
@ MyJoe,your views made me think, and thank you for that,I think it was wellthought and balance. Nigerians are known allover Africa for bullying, esspecially in their host countries and I think South Africa is the only country where its blacks tell Nigerians where to get off,and you guys cannot understand why, because in your Degrees mind you think we're stupidd, whitewashed iidiots. I don't think South Africans think they're better or Superior to other blacks in Africa, what I know is they think most African States are badly run, there's a feeling that because of that if borders are opened the whole of Africa will want to come in.Yes we all know that is not true. But we have all nationalities in South Africa, all 53 states in Africa have someone in Azania(RSA). @Mr Mo before you tell people to free their mind?you must start with yours first.Maybe a trip to Soweto will help you. |
lovinboi:If Glo decide to come to Southy, most people will definetly be happy, because it means competition, and with compettion it means lower rates and quality services. South African companies invested in Nigeria at the times when few companies wanted to do business in Nigeria, they took risks and they're now reaping rewards, and also they where also offering world class services that where not there at the time. And it's good that company like Glo are there today, competing with a worldclass company, that could only benefit the people.South African retailers like Pick and Pay,Woolworth,Game,Dion,Nandos and others are also offering Naija people some of the services that wasnot there. And if big Nigerian companies opens to rival the above, offering the same service and more it will be good for the masses. I think South Africa played a very meaningful part in shaping the current Nigeria, and for Nigeria to develop further they need South Africa and it's companies,I am not saying this in a arrogant way, hope you understand. The only weakness with Nigeria is it's law,South Africa will not give licence or allow any major company international to trade in South Africa without local shareholding. You have to sell some of your shares to a local if you want to do business in SA.I think Nigeria should also do that. This will benefit the locals economicaly and in terms of experience.Create laws that will benefit you and your country. We had THISDAY newspaper, which was Nigerian owned, and was well supported but operated for just over a year and was bankrupt, caused by mismanagement, surely you can't blame the country for that. |
^^^ what are you saying, you''re all over.write something meaningful or comment on Sports section cause it look like is the only thing you know, according your post. |
Look in Africa we don't have European Championship types of tournament, our leagues lacks organisational quality that will breed exeptional players. So playing the tourney every two years, help develop our football. AFCON is the only thing we have in Africa, So NO to 4 years. |
^^^ nicely said,heads off.Thank you. |
S@mi:Wakey!Wakey you are dreaming my friend. Can someone tell me the meaning of JEALOUSY.Because I think Nigerians use a wrong word here.I think the word you're looking for is EMBARRASSED,now please re do your sentence and use the correct word. You said Naija is the Africa Israel,go ahead and be one, whatever it mean and while you're still on it you might aswell be the al queda of Africa, you people are capable of being anything.Bunch of terrorist ![]() |
Horus: I feel you my brother, but go to hell cause you'll never be welcomed in heaven SA ![]() Steven Bantu Biko one said 'Black man you're on your own'.So with those words keep your hatred somewhere only you and your loved one will experience it. Niggar I don't give a sh@@t what you think or wish about my country, you are no one and nothing,so scream to the top of your lungs if you can,no one is listening ![]() Like it or not South Africa will continue to lead Africa into a modern civilisation, eat that. otawa:;DAtleast according to your biafran stats 80% of blacks lives in gheto,In Nigeria the whole country is a Ghetto and therefore I could proudly say 100% of 160 million of your population lives in GHETTO .Something I know you're very proud about on top of being the purest blacks in the world and having the most educated blacks, and that 1 in 4 stats? of criminals overseas is a Nigerian or something ![]() Half of blacks are dying in Nigeria today, please stop this you're embarrasing yourself now, omo. THE TRUTH IS SOUTH AFRICA AT IT'S WORST IS STILL BETTER THAN NIGERIA AT IT'S BEST BY FAR,now that should give you sleepless nights if you're normal. |
Look I'm not going to defend Southy's crime stats, but like every South African I am happy that I'm aware about our problems,I'm not in denial. I will like to also point out that rape and murders are mostly commited in poor communities where the victims probably know the culprits or related to them eg boyfriends, friend family member, community member and so on. In this communities alchol and cheap drugs are abused. I was not really marketing Southy to most of you broke azz niggars ,I dont have to,as I'm writing this, there are plenty of your countrymen lining at our Home Affaires applying for assylum.I mean intelligent people know the situation in South, like they know how crime happen,or where it happen and why it happens. That is why South is one of the leading tourist destination in Africa, yes with all it's crime. This year you'll see record breaking visitors to South for the world cup and I'm not complaining and why should you? ![]() |

They've also refused to play in confedaration cup this year, even though the ban is lifted. Mamelodi Sundown best ever striker was a Nigerian called Raphael Ndukwe Chukwu, nicknamed Chuku train Moroka Swallows has the tendency to recruit Nigerians goal keeper, their current Keeper is Greg Etafia and before him was Ida "supersport" Peterside Kaizer Chiefs had a striker from Nigeria last season named Victor Ogbonna,he made his impression but was injury prone and the club released him.
