I have tried to work myself out but everything proved abortive. Sometimes I won't step out from Saturday till Monday morning. These have started to affect my wife and my little daughter.

I am operating on a tight budget, so I am trying to avoid anything that is not necessary at this stage. I was advised to do 'half DPC', because the area doesn't have a history of water rising to affect buildings. Many houses around the area are not even DPC'd.
Do you think the 'half DPC' can prevent moisture rise in case it happens?
