Lexusgs430: Look at the flip side.......... Those that submit fake travelling documents to the BHC in Nigeria, their documents gets handed over to NPF...... Right? They are not British. The nationality of the perpetrator comes into question here. |

Travel › Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Rubyventures: 2:28pm On Jun 26, 2019 |
Lexusgs430: UK Why UK? Its a crime against the Nigerian consulate by a Nigerian. The police cannot go into a consulate to arrest any one its out of their jurisdiction. Its like going to Nigeria to arrest a criminal. Please correct me if I'm wrong. That's why people are able to take refuge in an embassy. |

Let's call a spade a spade, Islam is a religion of blood and war never Peace even amongst themselves Despite this, there are loads of good, law abiding Muslims living all round the world. |

delugajackson: Perhaps she should have been adorned with suicide bomb vests and a couple of hand grenades to further express her fashion sense. Then proceed to say the words "Allahu akbar" and send hundreds of souls to their early graves in exchange for 72 Tokunbo virgins to prove that she's totally Islamic.
But I guess I'll never know what it means to be a Muslim, what it feels like to kill for no reason. General comments like this are very divisive and should not be encouraged. I cant believe its being liked by 205 people. There is good and bad in every religion, race and tribe etc. |

7Alexandre: Nothing like trying to achieve...
Either you're gonna get it done or not...
President Donald J trump thinks running a country is the same as running a business...
He wants to have his way every time...
Life doesn't work that way...
Part of being a President is reaching across the aisle & working with the opposition to accomplish your agenda both Former President Clinton & Barack Obama did the same thing...
So far he has shown that he's unwilling to work with house democrats to move the country forward rather he is more focused on erasing Former President Barack Obama Legacy... He couldn't even run a business with the money given to him by his parents, he has filed for so many bankruptcies. He is a big joke and an embarrassment to the American people. |

If she didn't made them close friend, she would have prevented the horrific mess. A word is enough only for a wise Its comments like these that make victims not to come forward. Sex should be consensual. full stop. It doesn't matter if she followed 10 men to the club, cant a lady have a good time without people expecting sex from her? |

Buharifanatic: every generation of freys killed her family?
They only killed her brother and mum
Dany lost everything to KL everything You call killing her mum, brother, his wife and unborn child only? The Freys were evil and they planned it together because Rob didn't marry one of their ugly daughters. |
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by Rubyventures: 11:33am On May 14, 2019 |
Buharifanatic: how did varys know that she was bad?
Because she was alone
Most rulers are like that, they are feared not loved
Varys is not a hero, all of a sudden he knew that Dany was bad
Dany listened to them and all she got was defeat upon defeat
The show just forced that scene down our throats, Dany did not plan B4 hand to burn Everything
If that was her plan, she would have done it since her dragons became big
See all she did with 1, imagine 3 dragons
Dany is hurt that city took so much away from her
Took her family, her dragons, her best friend and now even Jon is gone, she is pained
Arya killed an entire generation because they killed some members of her family and u cheered her
Where all the freys evil? Arya killed every last 1 over a few members, Dany lost everything and ure complaining about people that she killed
D D are working hard to force the Dany is the new villain thing, I don't care how they kill her and twist it
As far as I'm concerned, game of thrones ended in episode 5 Dany killed innocent people, Arya killed people that harmed her family- I will cheer Arya any day over Dany The Frey family were involved in the red wedding. |

The term 'Professional Job' means different things to the typical Nigerian and the wider world.
To the average Nigerian it means a white collar job which involves sitting in front of a computer in an airconditioned office (including anything admin).
To the wider world it means being a professional in your own field which means going through college, university or even through work experience to learn a particular skill. Askilled and qualifiedplumber is a professional job, so is a skilled farmer, Doctor, Nurse, Radiotherapist, secretary, Artist, Architect, Mechanic, Accountant etc
Most Nigerians do not take pride in what they do except they are sitting in an office. The sooner we do away with that mentality the better. Saying this I am not saying that people should be doing menial jobs for the rest of their lives. You have to start from somewhere cos there are bills to be paid and then you look for ways to better yourself by experience, courses. Don't expect to bring your paper certificate from a corrupt and unstable country and be given a managerial role in a country where you have to learn the language and write and communicate fluently in that language . Why will a country leave their own indigenes and take on a foreigner with no experience who is not fluent in the language?
There are professional Nigerians in every country if you look harder, they may not be much in certain countries but in the UK and US there are a lot of Nigerians who started from humble beginnings and are now highly skilled professionals in their various fields. You have got to be able to crawl before you can walk.
Surround yourself with friends and family who will motivate you and add value to your life and not pessimists. If you have friends that always tell you a 'black man can never get that job' , stay clear from them. Build up your confidence, be able to sell yourself and get rid of this defeatist attitude, cos no matter which country you go to with such an attitude, you will not get anywhere.
Also when you have to choose a life partner , make sure its for the right reasons. be man enough to tell your family how you feel and stop going around in circles. Nigerian at this point in time is like a den of wolves, they will have you for breakfast .
Good luck for the future. |
