Irenenwaka: Hi guys, please someone mentioned they once travelled to Nigeria with an expired passport without getting a visa. Please has anyone ever done this I know some one who travelled to Nigeria in November last year with an expired Nigerian passport. This person also had a valid British passport. This was when it was difficult to renew the Nigerian passports. I don't think they will allow that now since its easy to renew your passports at the moment. |

Marriage means different things to different people. Don't use the same brush to tar every one, at the end of the day any kind of relationship is based on respect for one another, if that's lacking then it cant work. Hypocrisy originated from Nigeria. Where pastors sleep with most of the church members and he still takes the podium on Sunday to teach about righteousness. |

It would bring competition btw the 2 wives on who to win ur heart and gain ur attention the most. It would also bring a quick adjustment in the way they behave. And who gets caught up in the competition ? The innocent kids who didnt ask for this. |

Not only that, they will sell the same grave to more than 100 people. Nigerians have been scammed through out their lives by the govt , let them rest in peace i beg. There are plenty other things in the country to tackle, than making family land easy for anyone to sell. |

I am coming with kilishi and pressing iron.
Will they be allowed at the airport? You get really nice and effective steam Irons here for little to nothing. You can't take it in your hand luggage as it can be used as a weapon. So that will add a lot to your luggage allowance, not worth the aggro. What the hell is Kilishi? |

You want to copy everything in the developed worlds.. Ok ,in the UAE they don't pay tax because the money from the oil revenue is used to develop the country. Let Nigeria copy that. Nigerian politicians/ law makers are the highest paid in the whole world. Imagine those illiterates who use the house of reps to boast about how many wives and kids they've got and cant even write a sentence. |

hammermcc: Only in third world African countries do people bury the dead in their compound.even south Africa does not practice such . burying of the dead in their compound is bad for real estate. I have mentioned on my other thread that Nigerian needs real estate land reform. we can not afford the current method if Nigeria will be developed.
In fact , most Nigerians do not pay property tax . and yet you expect roads and street lights and public amenities to be fixed? there needs to be compulsory property tax which will deter people from thinking the land belongs to them forever and therefore burying dead on the land. people should pay heavy property tax if they want to own a home. if you can't afford property tax then rent an apartment. In the UK people bury their dead on their property, so its not only in Nigeria. |

omopapa: Yes they can confirm any information you supply to them so you have to be smart and truthful if you don’t want to invalidate your premium.
To be smart, you can make small (legal) tweak to your job title which will cut your car insurance costs. For example, a self employed plumber can claim to be a company owner, a journalist can claim to be a writer, a PhD student can claim to be a research scientist or a chef can claim to be a caterer. The bottom line is provided the job is exactly what you do, this is allowed and can make significant difference in the policy.
Adding additional experienced driver to your policy can give you good quotes
Try 3rd party, fire and theft rather than comprehensive policy
Adding years of no claim bonus (if you have any) to get the NCB discount
Years you have held the license will give insurance companies idea about your driving experience
Lastly, start making preparations on getting your FULL uk license before u get carried away ......and a window cleaner can claim to be a visionary enhancer, shelf stacker can be a replenishment supervisor etc... |
