Lexusgs430: A combination of this works well..... Going private is expensive (primary school) ..... £6000 per year, per child......
Send kids to public primary school, with extra tuition to cushion and make up the huge difference.......
Secondary school - Private schooling would cost between £10,000 - £20000 ( depending on institution).....
Solution - If you are within a grammar catchment area, get a teacher for kids (£400 pcm) also depends on teachers charges..... If kid passes, grammar school is free........ They cost a lot more, the average price is £80,000 if you are lucky. |

imnotconfused:
If you know the man ehh, there's no other way to describe a person who looks so miserable, even to order food your liver will cut at the thought of the face and rude words.. I used to prepare myself psychologically just to go there You pay for food and eat it in mental agony. This is the reason most African businesses don't do well here. The customer service is next to nothing, when you are buying stuff from them they act as if they are doing you a favour by selling to you. They have their faces like they just sucked on a lemon and they will be on the phone and expect you to be waiting for them to finish their phone call. |

sgtponzihater1: Any help about educational system in the UK. Primary and Secondary. The Public VS Private
Kindly intimate me. In the UK its Public V Govt (Grammar, Comprehensive, Church). At the end of the day, in my opinion it depends on the child. I know loads of kids who went to comprehensive schools and have got very good grades. Saying that if you can afford to take your kid to a public school without stressing yourself by all means please do. |

I don't understand some people especially Nigerians advertising products.
Why don't you put the price on here to save your time and interested parties time. Why is it such a big problem? |

Thanks Sorry bros, no one place with all this qualities in the UK. |

fatima04: Now we have to move houses, unfortunately I tried all i could to get one through gumtree or openrent but no luck.
So we began searching while waiting for our visa approval and saw a property we really liked, bungalow with 3bed and 2 toilet for 650pcm, with EPC rating of C, but sadly the LL rejected us oo with one flimsy excuse of "he does not know our rental history from our country of origin", once the letting agent mentioned that, I felt it was because we are Nigerians he rejected us.
It was sad but we had to renew our search and luckily we got another one with B rating, though more expensive. So now my e-fam come help me oo, things to do while moving house. I have got a list but its all so overwhelming.
a. whats the best way to get van rentals prices? online are scary ooo. b. Does moving house affect credit score badly c. How soo can one gets deposit on old apartment... so many questions...
N.B:- for new renters, please try and get a house of C rating because we just discovered a huge saving between D and C, we pay an estimated cost £100 to £120 with SSE a month, my friend with a higher band of C pays £65/pcm and their house is soo warm. Though D is the most common but one should search before making a commitment. I still wonder how people with E and F survive. a- Man with a van is your cheapest option, moving is stressful enough you don't really want to be driving the van on that day and most time you will get physical help from the van owner. Check on your local neighbourhood forum or gumtree. b- Moving home does not affect your credit rating, just make sure you register ASAP on the electoral register and redirect your post. c- It takes roughly about 10 days maximum as long as there are no problems. just apply on line and as long as there is no contest from the agent . The money will be paid directly into your account. Good luck with your move. When is the house warming? |

Lexusgs430: From your post it's your mortgaged property........ Best to install concrete posts, and slide wooden panels in. The concrete post would stay forever, the wooden panels would serve for about 5/7 years......
When it gets blown away in 2026, simply replace wooden panels....
Panels sell for about £27 per panel (6'5)......
Get a book on fence installation, watch youtube videos, head to the hire shop, hire shovels, drills etc etc
You would spend less than £300.00 + skill acquired........ Thanks a lot for this, the best advice so far. I will let you know how I get on. Its a challenge I'm looking forward to. |

I was told its a two day job and will take two guys, two whole days to dig two fricking holes in the ground and place a wooden post in. I just told the guy to jog on. |

newsheriffintown: So nobody fit help him fellow country man again.no trust in the black race again .so why do we call ourselves brother and sister if we cant help each other.
Just to help me recieve google pin for uk to make it easy for me which everybody kwns its legit .has lead to total denial. Not fair at all. I didnt ask or beg for money .just to help me with mail pin verification from google has turn me to a reject. Nawa this his not the way brothers. Remember 1 good turn deserve another.
If we cant trust each other ,how can we help each other and when there his no help and trust ,how can we progress as a country. We will never progress as a country if we have people like you trying to deceive google and make your fellow country brothers cover for you. Phone Google and place your cards on the table, be honest with them. They might use phone verification or email. Don't forget that google is in the business of making a profit and they need your business so just be honest . No sane person here is going to give you their address cos Nigerians cant be trusted full stop. So don't hold your breath. |
