I'm really interested in this story. |
This one is serious o ![]() |
Last week, I posted on Nairaland about the “evil” ravaging Oluwakemi Street, Ojodu Abiodun, Ifo L.G.A, Ogun State on the spate of accidents and properties damage the street had been witnessing. I guess no attention was given to it. Today, 5th of August, 2014 at about1.30pm a long bus conveying members of The Redeemed Christian Church of God lost control when moving upward the street towards Ojodu-Abiodun and reversed down the street ramming into a welder and furniture making shops. By divine providence again, no one was hurt as people in the shops narrowly escaped death unhurt. For goodness sake, when are we going to get out of this chronic problem ravaging this street? I beg those who know how to forward this write-up to the necessary authorities to do so and help us . God bless Oluwakemi(God favoured me) Street! God bless Ogun State! God bless Nigeria! Thank you. Here is the previous thread created last week about a peculiar situation that happened. https://www.nairaland.com/1837801/passionate-appeal-ogun-state-government

sunnyshayne: Well thank God you graduated but those guys you were fighting for have since graduated, settled down in life and may be bosses in some places. You cannot catch up with your mates again cos 13years is no beans and I don't think you will get a medal for this.I totally disagree on your point that he cannot catch us with his mate. Are you God? Just let him get a political appointment you may be among those flocking his office for favours. The annual history of a man is crowned by an individual who climbs from obscurity to greatness. No one knows tomorrow! |
common on! The project is in the pipeline. |
This is a volatile issue that must be ironed out. |
46 is wrong. How can hot water be heavier than cold water? Go and read about thermal stratification. |
This is seriously serious. Can Obama allow himself to be screened if he was coming to Nigeria? (just thinking) ![]() |
tit: The primary argument against inbreeding is Inbreeding depression: the reduced biological fitness in a given population as a result of inbreeding - ie., breeding of related individuals. Population biological fitness refers to its ability to survive and reproduce itself. Inbreeding depression is often the result of a population bottleneck. In general, the higher the genetic variation or gene pool within a breeding population, the less likely it is to suffer from inbreeding depression. So what are you insinuating? |
tit: How is it evil?perhaps inbreeding should be allowed too, isn't it? We try to make things work only in our own way. That's what I call selfishness |
Wow! |
seankafor: cos i knw of one homo in my place..urs?Are you kidding me! This is a law that had been passed in Nigeria and majority of Nigerians supported whole heartily and you are telling me you know just one. Must we accept what the western people throw at us at all times? Where is your self esteem? Do you obey all what your parents order you to do? How I wished they could impose sanctions on us. Perhaps that will make our leaders sit up and stop being their butt-lick. Mind you, where your right stops that's where other people's own begin. |
seankafor: and wat makes u tink dat d western world (citizens) wants polygamy..?what makes you think Africans want homosexuality? |
polygamy should also be allowed in the western world since it also affects human right violation. Hypocrites! |
PaulJohn1: It's commedable that Ogun state government is at least constructing a bridge in that area, because most border towns between Lagos and Ogun state have always been neglected over the years. I really do pity people residing in areas like Akute, Ibafo...You are right! The construction going on in the state simultaneously is great. He should just come to our aid in that street. This morning, you need to see how vehicles are struggling to navigate the pot holes in the street. |
I write to plead with Ogun State Government to please take a drastic move to savage Oluwakemi Street, Ojodu Abiodun, Ifo LGA, Ogun State from vehicle accidents that is claiming properties and maiming people. Oluwakemi and Denro had been an alternative route to people going to Alagbole and Akute due to the bridge construction going on in that axis hereby putting so much pressure on the street as the number of vehicles plying the road had increased astronomically. But little attention is given to this alternative route and this is causing a lot of havoc in that street. This year alone had recorded a lot of avoidable accidents on that road but little effort had been done to save the fast eroding terrain most especially in this rainy season. Just this evening again at about 5:20pm, a 30tons Mach Truck rammed into a Mosque building, two cars and a 22 seater public transport bus. Thank God no life was lost. Similarly, two weeks ago a public transport hit a motorcycle and it passenger unto another moving car. No life was lost but they were severely injured. Likewise, on June 7, 2014 at 12.20pm, a six-tyre Bedford truck with loaded broken blocks summersaulted and landed in house 22, Oluwakemi Street. Thanking God that no life was lost. Just less than 2 weeks before the latter accident occurred, another 14 seater commercial bus had brake failure also ramming into two other vehicles and a building injuring many of its occupants. Now that work had commenced on the Bridge along Yakoyo road, vehicular movement has increased again in Oluwakemi Street and this will pose increased accident occurrence there. Honestly, many of us don’t sleep with our eyes closed because personally an accident involving a 30 ton Mach truck nearly killed one of our apprentice and also damaging 3 other cars beyond repairs and our building. No doubt about it, Gov. Amosun led government is making a lot of efforts to transforming the state which is laudable. In view of this, I beg Gov. Amosun to take a drastic decision about the aforementioned situations to forestall the “evil day”. God bless Oluwakemi(God favoured me) Street! God bless Ogun State! God bless Nigeria! Thank you.

This thread is so funny with the various responses I'm reading. @op, that's what makes the forum interesting; making people laugh, angry, joyful, crazy, informed and generating traffic for Seun. Just follow the trend. There is sometimes sense in some nonsense some people posts. |

TonySpike: Another one of my recordings:better job bro, compare to the happy birthday song. the strumming pattern are the same and the guitar seems better tuned. well done. |
TonySpike: That song was essentially strummed using these four chords: D2, Bm, Asus and G. It could be the tuning though, still trying to adjust to my new guitar. I got it about a month ago. You can make use of your laptop sound recorder or cell phone recorder.OK. thanks. |
TonySpike: Thanks to the mod that brought this thread to the front page. The lost 'hacked' thread had lots of information, recordings, lessons and skills for guitarists. I hope this thread will live up to the expectations of the previous thread.nice one. it's like your 'do' chord was sounding somehow(I may be wrong). please what do you use when recording? |
