pappy4real: Lol! Do I have to do that? I'm thinking Of dealing with him on personal grounds Don't think going anywhere will guarantee your winning the case, you may even be the one to suffer. There's no contract agreement between you. He may even claim he was just helping you, then you'll be surprised people will start tagging you "ingrate'. You have learnt some lessons, move on and be smarter next time. Let me broaden your mind a bit: How much of the job do you know now? Go for more trainings, register a company, source for your own jobs, and employ others. But I bet you, you may even treat others worse that he did you. Above all, let God fill you heart. Good luck. |

ethene: from a reliable source I heard mmm may unfreeze the mavros by next week but there are two conditions attached to getting help. they are: 1. u cannot cash out all ur money at the same time. 2. u must provide help before u will be able to get part of ur money. cos this is the only way everyone would have something to hold cos if u are banking on New investors u may not get that number that would match the number of gh cos of panic created and couple with the fact that in January money no de dey. Phew! See condition. |

Investment › How MMM May Defraud Nigerians by ruffhandu(op): 10:43am On Dec 14, 2016*. Modified: 11:16am On Dec 15, 2016 |
A lot has been said about MMM in the last one day. Below is strictly personal.
MMM had claimed it’s collecting to the rich and giving to the poor. Super Robin Hood. We all know but rich and poor are doing this and that claim holds no water.
People still be encouraging others MMM has not crashed. Lemme ask you. When they finally unfreeze (if they will), what do you think will happen?
Let me tell you: Almost everyone (including the guiders) folding their arms right now waiting for a pull out. They all know it’ll be a miracle to get their money out. Only the not-so-wise, or thoroughly brainwashed, will be quick to put in money. And, from what I have heard, only the monies paid in by members will be used to pay out to other members. So, if no one pays in money where will MMM get the money to pay the “mavrodians” (I hope I got that right)?
It’s simple logic. People are shaken and scared and the trust on MMM has dwindled greatly. By January, everyone will want to get their money and only few, if any, would have put in some money to pay these people.
Assuming there are 100 participants waiting to cash out. If only 10 new entrants pay in money to settle 10 mavrodians, the remaining 90 mavrodians will have their Bp rise higher than it is, thus cursing more panic.
When other potential participants standing by and watching hear the testimonies of the 90 persons, even though the management of MMM will keep assuring them the day is still bright, they’ll hold back their funds, waiting for a better time to ‘gamble’. The distrust keeps increasing, and people’s heart keep failing. Eventually, they’ll come to the full realization that MMM is gone.
Case 2 MMM will not be unfrozen, finish.
If MMM actually meant to defraud people directly, then they may do/have done this:
All the ‘major payments’ (as targeted by MMM) in November/December will be made to MMM proxy accounts. Many Nigerians trust MMM because they are assured money is not paid into one central account. But, come, how do you know? How are you sure the person you are paying to actually paid a kobo to another person? How are you sure one man’s account is not used to pool fund from many people?
Ok, see what could happen. MMM can dedicate 1,000 proxy accounts where all funds 1M and above (as targeted by MMM), say, will be paid in. Through online monitoring, they would know what they want. Once they have gathered as much as they want, they’ll find a way to launder it, in and out of the country. The one month ‘pause period’ is actually a good time to keep people off their back while they clean out.
They keep giving people hope about MMM as if it is a viable investment. People wake up, this is collecting money from other people to pay others. When one stops bringing, end of wayo.
Well, I am not saying MMM has crashed. But I know things will never be the same with the scheme anymore. Right from day 1 I advised all who came close to me to stay away from the scheme. |
Nairaland General › Re: The True Story Of The Boy Buried Alive Inside Brick Walls Of Old House by ruffhandu: 4:02pm On Dec 13, 2016 |
Have you read this? Last week, the report of a boy said to have been sealed in the wall of a house in Ondo town in western Nigeria spread.
After that story was told on online news platforms but without details, rumours have been circulating about the reality of the occurrence.
To get the true picture of the incident, Channels Television crew visited the town in Ondo State and was at the very house where the incident happened.
A bungalow located on 3B Akinfemisoye Street, Oduduwa Area in New Town, Ondo city in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State was where the boy was found.
boy-in-the-wall-in-ondo-state The boy is said to have fallen between the walls of a building and a fence According to the information gathered, the owner of the house had travelled out of the country several years ago. But the building at the back is being inhabited by tenants who are students of the Adeyemi College of Education in the town.
Suspected To Be Mentally Deranged
Charity Adebayo is one of the students living in the compound. She told Channels Television that the boy, who is suspected to be mentally deranged, fell into a the little space between the walls of the house and a food canteen next to it.
“We started hearing the boy saying meaningless things from inside the wall,” she said.
Charity explained that at daybreak, people came and broke the fence and brought him out.
According to her, the grandmother of the boy came to pick him.
Felicia Olaniyi, who operates the food canteen at the other side, gave her own account of the story in Yoruba language.
“The boy was said to have escaped from his grandmother one evening while she was taking him to a church for healing.
“The boy must have fallen in-between the walls of the two buildings,” she said.
According to her, after they heard the voice of the boy in the wall, it attracted people’s attention and a ladder was brought. “He was discovered in the space and the wall was broken,” she explained.
She said the residents also alerted the police before the boy was brought out and also corroborated Charity’s claims that he was taken away by his grandmother.
Michael Gbala, a medical practitioner, who also lives in the neighbourhood told Channels Television that he learnt that the boy was mentally deranged.
Determined to get to the root of the matter and more revelations, Channels Television crew proceeded to the church where the boy was taken to by his grandmother for healing, overseen by an old woman, Prophetess Dorcas Adebayo.
dorcas-adebayo-prophetess Prophetess Dorcas Adebayo said the boy’s grandmother took him away from her church She explained in Yoruba language that the grandmother brought the boy for healing but later came back to take him away.
She believes the boy must have, in a bid to escaped from the grandmother after she took him away from the church, fallen into the wall.
The old prophetess said she did not know the boy’s whereabouts ever since.
A little boy also gave his account of the story, saying the boy had been taken to the State Specialist Hospital in town.
At the hospital sources said that the boy’s name is Aduragbemi Saka and that he was admitted but had since been discharged.
Channels Television, however, got to know the address of the boy and his grandmother which is at number 11, Okegbogi Street in the town.
On getting to the house, the one storey building was locked with a padlock.
The residents of the street refused to speak to reporters, but however said that they knew the boy but had not been seen him for a long time. https://www.channelstv.com/2016/12/13/story-boy-sealed-wall-ondo-told-neighbours/Please be careful how rumours are peddled. |

All you need to do is to have solid plans to train the children you'll bring into this world, whether you are alive or dead. Who told you that if you marry at 30 you'll start having children at 31?
Fact: You may marry at 20 and have your first child at 35 with so much strucggle to cater for your family. Another person who married at 33 and starts having children at 34, with enough resources to cater for the family, would have produced a child older than yours, better taken care of.
Remember, don't marry and bring children into this world only for them to come suffer poverty. They'll hate you.

Ohammadike: Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka has described the yesterday’s meeting in Lagos of the embattled former Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State, Mr Temitope Aluko with the Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose as a vindication of his position that “he (Aluko) can make a 360 degree turnaround and return to the same Governor Fayose that he claimed rigged election because he lacked integrity.” Tope Aluko Olayinka, who said he was speaking in his personal capacity and not as spokesperson of the governor, added that, “Being the person that faced Aluko on Television interviews where he told all the lies that he told against Governor Fayose and the people of Ekiti State, I am constrained to make my position known on this new development. “Even though Governor Fayose, being someone with large heart may not be too happy that I am making this statement, but as one of the major dramatis personae in the whole saga, my conscience won’t allow me to just keep silent after all the pains and confusion caused by Aluko. “I did say on Channels Television that giving the right situation or after Aluko must have concluded his scamming of the APC and its gullible leaders, he will return to Governor Fayose and recant everything that he had said. “Today, I have been vindicated because Aluko has done just that and I wonder how he will feel when he comes face to face with the people that he has destroyed. I wonder how he will feel when he comes face to face with those fine military officers that he went to Kaduna to lie against and made them to lose their jobs. “Also, I wonder how those who funded him will be feeling now, having failed to listen when I was consistently saying that they were being duped. I wonder how the Department of State Services (DSS) men who took Aluko’s lies and acted on them by invading the State House of Assembly will feel now that they have integrity problem because of what he (Aluko) made them to do. “However, I salute my boss, Governor Fayose for once again displaying his statesmanship because only a statesman with a large heart can hold the hands of someone like TKO Aluko after all that he did to pull down his government. “I also thank God for vindicating me by finally exposing the hypocrisy of Aluko to the whole world to see.”

Phones › Re: Who Can Fix This For Me?(pic) by ruffhandu(op): 6:26am On Mar 30, 2016 |
Sorry all. I appreciate your inputs, the phone wouldn't let me browse for a while now.
Yes, I used to have 3G option on the phone before now, untill it had issues.
My phone brand is INNJOO Fire.
On February 18th, my phone fell from a seat in church and the screen cracked with multiple lines towards the lower part of the screen (meanwhile it had fallen from greater heights and nothing serious happened).
Since the crack didn't stop me from using the phone, also remembering I was told to bring 12k for the repairs of one of my phones previously, which made me to retire it temporarily, I made up my mind to keep using this one with the screen that way- no money to dash anybody yet.
Then last two weeks, I discovered the phone would freeze sometimes. The only remedy at each of those times would be to remove the battery, fix the battery after a while and start charging it without turning it on, then switching it on after it had charged to about 50%.
I have been suffering like that o! Sometimes it goes off in the middle of a call and that'll be the end of that call at that time, very embarrassing.
Then during the Easter hols, by chance I only left one sim (the voice ). To my amazement, my phone didn't freeze for a long time. I decided to be running with one sim.
Later, I replaced it with the data sim and noticed the 3G wahala.
I had thought the problem was dual sim so yesterday I tried putting the data sim in the other slot, believe me, it froze on start-up. I'm beginning to believe it's from the sim slot. Meaning I can't enable 3G on one slot? I have tried enabling both mtn and airtel 3G on the slot that works but without success.
Could this problem be associated with screen? Sorry for the epistle. |
