PoliticsRe: Japan Fixed This Damaged Road In 6days, How Long Do U Think It Will Take The FG? by ruffhandu: 1:34pm On Dec 21, 2015
The variables that'll need to be considered:

The government in power
What part of the country is it (Determines if it should be looked into at all)?
Who'll be awarded the contract?
What part of Nigeria is he from?
How much bribe will be involved?
How many people are lined up for kick-backs?
What part of the country is it (determines how the chiefs and youths should be settled before contractor commences work)?
How many lives has been lost there?

Constants:
The contractor must belong to ruling political party
People must be bribed
It must take a long time to justify the inflated cost
Road must be blocked without caring how much the citizens suffer
Residents and road users must inhale lots of dust if it's fixed by RCC and in PH
...

After harvesting all these info, then we may develop a mathematical model that'll compare our level of civilization with Japan, and then, baam! You have the answer.

Did you know that Buhari collected "Amoured SUVs" from Dasuki his "well wisher" according to his assets declaration statement after he was paid full monitized benefits as former Head of State from the office of SGF?

You see all of them and those around you are the same.

The difference in Nigeria is opportunity. You may have been singing a different tune had you received alert from Dasuki
It is Satanism that gives them fraternal affiliations, the religions we know ceases to exist in their macabre gatherings. Once you sign up with them, then you benefit from the loots, in exchange for sometimes your ass, or human blood. But in all, wickedness overtakes you.

But I have a pronunciation for them: no peace for the wicked. They'll seek death without success. The sufferings of all as a result of their wickedness shall visit them and those who have enjoyed the loot with them in derision of poor Nigerians whose right they have raped. Amen.

For a job well done by a political priest. Good the President acknowledged the job favoured him and his party.

Mbaka, tell the President to give his life to Christ, that is supposed to be your calling.

That is why some people take laws into their hands. I remember when Peter Odili's adversary was in court until Odili served out his tenor. Sometimes I'm tempted to call Nigerian judiciary useless.

Shouldn't the court have awarded this man some form of compensation for all he has passed through? I'm sure all he'll get is monetary entitlements.

Lies spotted. why must you drag in religion into your affair? If you dont know anything about catholic church, why not keep your mouth shut? It is posts like this that make some persons desire for sanity in social media and news reportage... No name, no address, no source, misrepresenting a church... As a catholic, you dont need a church to confess, you do that to a priest(you can even have your confession in the market before a priest). Again, one confession is enough for the particular sins confessed, you dont need to confess a sin severally and before different priests before it is absolved. Finally, go get a life and let the church be. if you feel a news is worthy of reportage, mention the identity of the persons involved(unless they are minors), mention the location. we are not here for baseless and unfounded rumours
You shouldn't have gone into this education. Now he has a clue how to place his lies next time.
This lie is just to paint a people and a church black. Bad.

Bros, you funny. When using slang or jargon in a sentence, it is best practice to hyphen the word or words so that the reader or readers will understand that the word is special to you and yours and maybe not be widely known. Your weak attempt to use "port" instead of teleport is a major fail. Why even use it in the first place. So words like "leave", "refuse to go" is now a problem? Haba chairman, not everything needs to be cool now. This is why the educational system is failing. People just don't want to learn things the proper way.
People who understood it moved on.

CareerRe: OANDO Staff Appeal For Support And Urgent Intervention In The Mass Sacking by ruffhandu:
Something I don't understand. A job you did not create, you want to force the owner to keep you against his wish.
A question:
In time past, how much did the company pay retrenched staff? Is this severance package new?
Some staff were pouched from other companies. Like seriously? And you joined them, basking in the excitment of ditching your former employer without knowing all your new employer has to offer you? I blame the employee. He had also treated his former employer unjustly by leaving him when he is most needed.

Bottom line: Nigerians should start thinking of how to create employments and employ people, not clinging to a job created by another man. I would rather getting a paid employment is just to raise a little capital to start up something, not slaving for another till you retire. That way, Nigeria can grow.

OER to agree in writing that, should oil price return to at least $50/bbl, the affected staff who are still available would be reinstated since performance was not the basis for the pruning down exercise;
So you'll be waiting for OANDO? I see this is the height of bad things, your destiny being on pause mode because of a company. You may wait for eternity because oil price is heading to $2.

I do not support injustice, but I blame people who would want to tell an employer how his company must be run. Go learn how to farm

apolonius:
I rarely have faith in media reports as they are too sensationalized and subjective to drive publisher/proprietor agenda than objectively report facts.

The few facts I gleaned suggest that no particular groups were targeted. The ethnic groups of those who resigned and were sacked appear closer to mine than across the Niger.

We all have been so traumatized by the evils we suffer that it is fast becoming difficult to distinguish clear efforts at accountability from nepotism.

Nigeria is our country, no Hausa, Fulani, Igbo has more rights than I, an Igala man, or a Gbagyi. I believe this, stand for it and see many Nigerians who share same convictions.
@ the bolded, the fact remains the fact. Moreso, I always try to verify the veracity of any report.

I actually see in our leaders polarization tools of this country along political and ethnic lines.

The truth is, some things in Nigeria are done with a view to satisfying the "Federal Character' policy, whether it be an arrangement that'll churn out optimum result or not. In such case, methink it should be followed. But when at liberty to choose, a true leader should be able to carry most of his followers along, if not all, irespective of their descent.

Even if those words came out of Mr Buhari's mouth, it can not bother me for a second. They can say all they like, but I am Emmanuel and a Buhari or Lawal has no better rights than I have in Nigeria.

Since 1999 till date, people from the South have led Nigeria than Hausa-Fulanis and other Northern tribes. Obasanjo and GEJ did over 14 years out of about 16 years. There have been as many Igbos in all cabinets since independence as there are Hausas. These facts illustrate that we all have equal rights and are powerless without one another.Corruption peddled and supervised by our elite is the impediment to our growth and opportunity creation efforts for all.

Buhari became president with vital votes from the South - East, West and South. He didn't rely on only some Hausa blackheads and jingoism.

Our problem is not really tribalism,as the most corrupt people in Nigeria include Hausa, Igbo, Fulani, Ijaw,Igala , Yoruba and all other tribes.

Our elite are evil and united against us, even if you divide the country according to the over 250 ethnic groups, they will be there and determined to loot.

Let's unite against our corrupt elite as they are united against us.And they have no tribes, only trains - tribal evil cabals and cliques.

Ignore that codeine blockhead in that conversation by the way.He is as wretched as the Lagos scavenger!
I agree with you. But did you read about the promotions/rank distribution in the Customs recently?
Some of our elites that are uniting against us are also serving a grand plan hatched by some cabals in their macabre gatherings.

Is this how impressionable you are? You just listened to one sick Alhaji and it is enough to make you join a bunch of silly youths?

All the politicians and government contractors from the East, where are their kids? Are they not in elite schools in the UK and US?

Nobody owns Nigeria; not even Buhari can claim ownership. No Alhaji has more rights than you do.Was Jonathan not there for 6 years? Did anyone touch him?

Nigerian elite, from East, North and South, are the same and are United in pillaging all our promises and potentials.

My dear, channel your energy and passion towards building your capacity to pursue whatever dreams you have in Nigeria.Nobody can stop you!
Did you listen to the recording yourself? Please do. Your signature is what pushes some people to succeed, true.

I noticed it's hard to get a listing of Innoson cars with their price tags, one can easily get that for foreign brands. I think they should make this public to Nigerians for better planning and choice-making, not waiting until one goes to their showroom/company.

I rep made in Nigeria cars.
