I can coach you to learn Python and Data Analysis in 3months, then Machine learning and Data science in another 3 months making you confident in your self in Data science and artificial intelligence in 6months. But you must be serious, and have atleast half of my enthusiasm or be in harmony to be contagion. We can do it virtually anywhere you are, I can do it for free but there's only one problem at the moment, as a final year student of B.tech Computer Science ( even though i studied Petroleum engineering over a decade ago). My computer is currently damaged and I have to get a new one of which I have to partake in a Machine learning competition to win a prize for me to acquire a system like around 75k, so follow the advice of that guy that Mentioned Data Analysis, Data is the new oil now and the sexiest job of the century. And why would you limit your self to Analysis while you can be a Data scientist to enhance your value? Start learning Python immediately, we will meet along the way, by then I must have been more professional through my participation in online competitions called kaggle.com you should register at kaggle too, employers check your points in this field through kaggle, that's one of a great idea to get jobs in Data science and artificial intelligence. I wish you the best, until I got system make your personal effort to learn.

6 months might not completely prepare you though it depends on you.
I will advice you to try ”Data Analysis/Analytics “. meaning you will able to learn Python Programming and R Programming (Basic).
There are high demand for such Skill here including other European countries.......and the average pay is $120,000 per annum.

Mind you, you don't need to be Computer Scientist, you only need to study on YouTube (subscribe to some channels), try some examples and solve some real case study problems.
Then you're good to go

Politics / Re: Lagos Is Too Expensive For Diasporans And Even Oyinbo Sef by RuggedSniper: 4:49pm On Nov 21, 2020
KnowAll:

Most disaporans will like to settle back home but for the hyper and over inflated prices people pay for necessities of life. Some examples

1. Why are pepole paying N700, 000.00 for a 1991 Honda Accord when in the UK u can buy that kind of car for £250.00 - N50,000.00 in the auction or £400.00 or N80,000.00 IN THE OPEN MARKET.

2. The house prices on the island is out of this world even well paid diasporans find it extortionist. You buy a house in say lekki for between N50 to 100 million that is between £250,000.00 and £500,000.00. Can you imagine paying that kind of money and your neigbours are a mechanic village, a few small block making firm and a mammy market selling pepper and tomotoes . This kind of loop-sided development that is taken place in lekki has to be addressed. Most diasporans will rather use that kind of money to buy in choice areas in london, New york , and miami. You could get beuitiful condone in miami beach for less than that.

3. Take your mobile phone calls just damn to costly. I can remember using N3,000.00 CREDIT just having a normal tel chat with a freind the las time I was in Nija this has to be addressed.

4. Going out to choice areas to have a meal, I remember going to some joint in VI and a plate of pepper soup is N3,500.00 for one small peice of fish. Haba how much is fish in lagos all these business men for lagos na go kill person oh.

5. Lets talk about clothes that is a no go area for diasporans that settle in nija, aint nothing like Sale ANYMORE. You go to those little boutiques in lagos and buy a jeans for N50,000.00 u go there 2 days later u will be charged N75,000.00.

The problem with Nigerian businessmen if they have not made 1000% profit they no go sell we should refrain from this kind of mentality to what obtains all over the world. A consistent modest profit is better than a one off massive profit.

Nigerians in the US, as an ethnic group, has the highest percentage of Doctorates in the nation. 7 times higher than whites

Every Nigerian I’ve ever worked with in the US is the happiest person ever. Like, just incredibly positive outlooks on life.

They're like that outside the US too. I'm South African, met a lot of Nigerians in work and life and they're without exception incredibly positive and friendly people.

My wife is Nigerian. I honestly couldn't tell you how many of her family members have master's degrees.

Statistically, Nigerian Americans are a highly successful immigrant group. Not anecdotally. This is relevant because it calls into question the Trump administration’s stated logic, which is that we want to prevent immigrants from taking low income jobs or the immigration of criminals

Just a reminder, the country that most actual terrorists have come from is Saudi Arabia. The current administration tells us time and time again they trust the Saudi government. Makes sense, right?

Sir_Keee3h
Last "terrorist" attack by a non-citizen on US soil was by a Saudi national. And yet not a peep.

Now I'm not saying I'd support a Saudi ban any more than other countries, just that it shows the hypocrisy of the administration. They want to stop non-white immigration and especially Muslim immigration, yet they can't help but bend over to Saudi Arabia.

grin... Nigeria is not a monolitic country, therefore NIGERIANS are not an ethnic group in the U.S.

They are Not called settlers in Ikorodu. Ikorodu is an Ijebu word but Ibese Island area and co are originally Awori but has been occupied by Ijebu so they called them settlers.

Also from Ikorodu to Palmgroove are ijebu-tedo areas because they migrated and settled in those areas. The British where not allowed to traded with Oyo without the Ijebus who acted as gate keepers.

Also from Ibeju-lekki to VI are also Ijebu-tedo
Ijebu-Yoruba LGAs in Lagos State are three. Epe, Ikorodu (named centuries ago after the founder "Okoodu Oga" with Oga meaning boss or master) and Ibeju-Lekki are owned originally by Ijebus, with Ijebu trader-settlers living on Lagos Island for over 300 years now. Ijebuland extends from Lagos State to Ogun State just like Aworiland. In addition, Ijebu and Ilaje ancestries make up major bloodlines of Itsekiriland in places such as Ode-Itsekiri and the oil and gas-rich Ugborodo (formally named Escravos after the Escravos River or "slave river" in Portuguese).

Culture / Re: Common Yoruba Words Borrowed From Arabic by RuggedSniper: 6:54pm On Nov 19, 2020
NegroNtns:

The truth of the matter is that both Yoruba and Arabic have roots in old Hebrew, and not the popular misconception that Yoruba borrowed from Arabic.

There are many words in Yoruba which coincide with Arabic but does not exist in Songhai or Hausa language and one have to wonder how the leapt could have been possible without a middle link. This is so because no one is studying or researching Yoruba language as a proto semitic tongue, the researchers are always looking for a middle link to explain the conjunction between Yoruba and Arabic.

For example. . .Ale (night in Yoruba) is equivalent to Al'Layl (night in Arabic) but does not occur in either of Songhai or Hausa. Also, Alantakun (spider in Yoruba) is Al'Ankabut (spider in Arabic) and does not have same form in Songhai or Hausa.. Most words in Yoruba that begin with Al or L will have this conjunction with Arabic and is strictly because they both evolved out of the same tongue source. Arabic has remained in its semitic landscape and region whereas Yoruba has vacated and moved far away and ended in dilution by different influences in the host landscape.

Some point of corrections. . . Kahlifa exist in Yoruba as a separate word from Alfa, so it is not a mixup. Also, Imale exist seaparate from Mola (Mu'allim), there is no confusion in its use or meaning.

Culture / Re: Why Ikwerres Are Not Igbo - The Logic Behind It by RuggedSniper: 9:13am On Nov 19, 2020
TAO11:
LMAO! grin grin

First of all, your reply (despite a torturous search) fails to support your claim.

Rather than support your claim, you instead committed a logical fallacy — particularly “argumentum ex silentio”.

In other words, I can’t see it there, hence the Yorubas didn’t use it. Lol.

Turning the tables may help you see your logical fallacy even more clearly:

The traditional royal title of Benin kings, viz. “Omonoba” does not appear in that same listing you provided.

Does this then imply that this particular traditional Bini royal title was made up post 1938 — alluding to your own interesting logic? Lol. smiley

In sum, you have simply borne testament, so far, to your failure to substantiate your bogus claim that Yoruba rulers do not use “oba” until in the 1900s.

Having demonstrated the logical fallacy of your intended argument, the following quotations show some pre-1900 statements which feature the word ”oba” for Yoruba traditional rulers:

Quoting word-for-word from Reverend Samuel Johnson’s magnum opus, the following are a few (four) examples of such use among the Yorubas:

(i)Several points of similarity may be noted between the ALAFIN and his Basorun. The ALAFIN is Oba (a king), he is Iba (a lord)." ~ p.71.

(ii) "From this incident, King ABIPA was nick-named Oba M'oro (the King who caught ghosts)." ~ p.166.

(iii) "And this has passed into proverb, "Oku dede ki a ko iwi wo Akesan, Oba Jayin te ori gba aso". (At the approach to Akesan of a company of chanting Eguguns, King JAYIN buried his head in a shroud.) Used of one who anticipates the inevitable." ~ p.171.

(iv) "Oaths were no more taken in the name of the gods, who were now considered too lenient and indifferent; but rather in the name of the King [i.e. King AOLE himself] who was more dreaded. "Ida Oba ni yio je mi" (may the King's sword destroy me) was the new form of oath!" ~ p.188.

Reference: Samuel Johnson, "The History of the Yorubas", Completed 1897, Published 1921.

Moreover, the obas mentioned by name in the Yoruba proverbs seen in the above quotations from the 1897-completed work of S. Johnson, are dated by historians to have ruled in the 1500s, the 1600s, and the 1700s respectively.

Furthermore, the attachment below shows a page from an 1899-published work — driving home the very same point I’m making here.

Reference: Elisée Reclus & A. H. Keane; “Africa and Its Inhabitants", Vol. II, Published 1899, p.265, and which is largely a translation of the French original published in 1873.

While all the foregoing instantly debunks his claim of post-1900 Yoruba use, our Bini entertainer will yet not dare provide even a shred of evidence to substantiate a SAY-200 years old Benin use of “oba” grin — let alone dare substantiate his own baseless/wild claim of 600 years old written account of Benin’s use of “oba”. grin Isn’t God wonderful!? cheesy
.
.
.
Now to put all these into a clearer perspective for you @Afam4eva:

Each and every Yoruba kingdom actually use two distinct nouns in reference to its monarch:

(1) A common noun (“oba”) rendered in English as ”king” — lit. the “overlord”.

(2) A proper noun which generally varies from one Yoruba kingdom to another. E.g. “Ooni” for the Ife Kingdom; ”Alaafin” for the Oyo kingdom; etc.

D. M. Bondarenko makes this precise point about the two nouns when he wrote that:

Ooni is Oba of Ife” or “the Oba of Oyo is Alaafin

Reference: Dmitri M. Bondarenko, “Advent of the Second (Oba) Dynasty: Another Assessment of a Benin History Key Point”, History in Africa, 2003, Vol. 30 (2003), pp. 71.
.
.
.
This same culture of using two distinct nouns (a common noun and a proper noun) for the king is also found among the Binis as well as among the Itsekiris.

Among the Binis for example, the proper noun and traditional royal title is “Omonoba”; while ”oba” is the common noun, viz. “king” — Both are in use till date in Benin culture.

Among the Itsekiris in comparison to the above, the two nouns are “olu” (similarly rendered in English as “king” — lit. the “premier” ) and ”Ogiame”. Also, both are in use till date for the king among the Itsekiris.

The king’s designation in these cultures may therefore sometimes appear in full, thus showing both nouns, as follows:

Ooni Ife, Oba Adeyeye; or Omonoba N’Edo, Oba Ewuare; or Olu Iwere, Ogiame Ikenwoli; etc. (or some variation of this standard practice).

But sometimes, the designation may also appear in part as is seen in the listing which he himself has provided.

The listing does not feature the Yoruba kings’ use of ”oba”, just as the same listing does not feature the Bini king’s use of the royal title “Omonoba“ — which generally appears in his designation in addition to the word “oba” as already shown above.

Should we then conclude — in line with his fallacious logic — that the Bini royal title “Omonoba” was a post-1938 invention? Laughable, isn’t it? grin
.
.
.
Anyways, I would love to see if someday he will manage to yield to the earlier request which I will make again below:

(a) Can you show me (or cite me) an expert evidence which supports your claim that “no Yoruba traditional ruler used the title until the 1900s”?

(b) Can you show me (or cite me) a “600” year old written record of the use of the word “Oba” for a Benin monarch — since you claimed there are such old written records?

Cheers!

PS: @Afam4eva, notice the subtle attempt at derailing the discussion into an issue of colonial salaries, even though it is basic knowledge that the salaries must have been proportional to the average periodic revenue generated from the respective areas.

grin... I have to save this convo right now... Massive history!

Yes, the above-attached artifact is quite rare. F. Willett’s works, et al. has a number of such works. I took a screenshot of the above-attached one from one of S.P. Blier’s works which also shows a reference to one of F. Willett’s publications.

Similarly, other such rare artifacts which affirms the Ife-Benin connection are seen in the attached screenshot below — showing an Ife terracotta head made in the Benin style perhaps for export purposes, considering the early dates of Ife productions in comparison to Benin works.

Artifacts like these are published in F. Willett’s, “New Light on the Ife-Benin Relationship” as well as in O. Eluyemi’s “New Terra-Cotta Finds at Oke-Eso, Ife”; among others.

The near-silent drone is operated remotely by a pilot, a sensor operator and a Mission Intelligence Coordinator. It can also conduct surveillance, assist in search and rescue missions. The drone also allows US forces to conduct irregular warfare operations.

The Reaper has an endurance of 30 hours when conducting ISR missions. It decreases to 23 hours if it is carrying a full weapons load.

As of September 2015, the Air Force had 93 MQ-9 Reaper drones in its arsenal. Each of these drones costs $15.9 million, or ₦5.7 billion.

The laser-guided missile that was fired by the Reaper during the mission in Iraq is AGM-114 Hellfire Missile. Each of these missiles cost USD117,000 (‎₦42.5 million).

In October 2012, the U.S ordered 24,000 Hellfire II missiles, for both the U.S. armed forces and foreign customers.

Car Talk / Re: Lagos State License Number Plate Codes & What They Mean by RuggedSniper: 4:44am On Nov 19, 2020
Automotive1:

Ever wondered what the codes on license plate number stands for.

The unique plate combination of all non customised plate numbers is in the format ABC-123DE.The first three letters indicate the Local Government Area in which the vehicle was registered, which are followed by three digits and two letters.

ABC-123DE example
KSF-622AE for Kosofe LG

GGE-123ZY for Agege LG

ABA-321AA for Aba south

AAH for Anambra(oguocha)

The following first three letters you see on any Lagos plate number indicates the Local Government area in which the vehicle was registered.

SMK= Somolu LG

JJJ = Ojo LG

KJA = Ikeja LG

AAA = Lagos Island LG

FKJ = Ifako Ijaiye

AKD = Ibeju Lekki LGA

LND = Lagos Mainland LG

LSR = Surulere LG

LSD = Oshodi Isolo LG

KSF = Kosofe LG

AGL = Ajeromi Ifelodun

APP = Apapa LG

KTU = Alimosho LG

BDG = Badagry LG

EKY = Eti-Osa LG

KRD = Ikorodu

EPE = Epe LG

MUS = Mushin LG

GGE = Agege LG

FST = Festac LG

The same rules applies to all non customised plate numbers in all 36 states In Nigeria.

In size and shape,Nigerian license plates are based on those of the United States. Nigeria and Liberia are the only two African countries that do not use the European license plate format.

The license plates are generally white and the number itself is imprinted in blue. In the upper left-hand corner they carry the Flag of Nigeria or the national coat of arms. The state name and slogan is displayed at the top centre of the plate, and the "Federal Republic of Nigeria" is written at the bottom.

You are free to add your state/local government license plate codes if you know one.

Romance / Re: Thirty Three Things To Do Before Marriage. No 20 Will Shock You by RuggedSniper: 4:11pm On Nov 18, 2020
Yahksbiz:
Good evening able nairalanders.
I come across these tips in my brain and I say let me share it here someone might be in need of it.

Marriage is the last bus stop of a boy and girl and the beginning of a man and a woman.

Here are. You should consider be choosing a partner

1........ . Be good to your parents.
Few things in life will be more exciting for your parents than seeing you find someone and get married, likely starting a family of your own, and certainly bringing a new family into theirs. Why would we ever want to taint that with a relationship that’s strained, disrespectful, and full of alternating miscommunication and silence? Our parents deserve to be loved, to be enjoyed for the people they are (not just some abstract idea of being punished for things), and most of all, included in our lives. The beauty of bringing two families together is very much in the love for your own being grown and shared into the love of the whole new family unit. Shouldn’t we be sharing as much of that as possible?

2........ Move out of your parents’ house.
Learn how to pay bills, manage your money, and live responsibly. The least you can do before moving in with someone FOR ETERNITY is get some exposure about what it’s actually like to take care of yourself.

3........ Figure yourself out.
Too often people rush into committed monogamy for all the wrong reasons. “Figuring yourself out” is cliche, but that doesn’t mean you can’t work on yourself and prune your crutches, delusions, and self-destructive tendencies. It’s a life-long process, but at least, before you marry, try and have a firm grip on who you are and what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, rather than rushing headlong and blind into an unknown situation.

4.......... Meet the people who raised your potential future husband/ wife.
Whether you like their family or not, you’ll be able to pick up on red flags that wouldn’t have come to light otherwise. The issues someone has with their family may not make or break a relationship, but you don’t really know someone until you watch them lose it and go apeshit on their parents at Thanksgiving dinner.

5......... Live with a member of your preferred gender identity who you’re not dating.
 This is the best way to adjust your expectations of who is responsible for what in a household.

6......... Get your heart broken.
Thus this is hard o but it will shape you greatly. Whether from losing a good friend, having a fight you know you were wrong in, or seeing a love you were sure was forever end prematurely — we all need to know what it feels like to be broken. Perhaps the most essential thing about heartbreak is coming out on the other side and realizing that, no matter how badly you are hurting in the moment, it’s going to pass and you are going to be happy again. Few things manage to put future fights, anger, and sadness into perspective than getting over a real heartbreak at least once.

7.... At least Finish college or university.
Because you’re way too young to be married that early.

8........ . Learn how to cook, regardless of gender.
 One of the best parts of stability is the fact that you DON’T have to go out as much anymore. One of the best things you can do to prepare for a simpler lifestyle is to figure out how live more simply.

9.......... Live alone/ be alone.
People can go their entire lives skipping from relationship to relationship because they’re afraid of being alone. Being alone isn’t always a walk on the beach, but it’s important to develop the capacity to rely on yourself for happiness before you pass off so much of that weight to another human being.Sign up for the

10...... Be good friends.
Don't marry a stranger and hope you'll become compatible over time. Start with a solid foundation of love, shared values, common interests, and trust.Don't expect your partner to change. People do change, but not in predictable ways. So if your partner has a drug problem, assume he'll always have one. Suppose you're marrying someone with a drug problem, not someone who will, with time, stop taking drugs, and ask if you can live with that. If she doesn't want children, assume she'll always not want children. If he has a temper, assume he'll always have a temper.

11...... Work on projects together.
Collaboration is one of the primary forms of human communication. It's a kind of social glue. Try to find hobbies you both like doing together.

12......... Play together.
I don't mean Chess, Monopoly, or baseball. I mean have tickle fights, or chase each other around the home; or roll around in the mud, together. Playing around is another social glue. You need to lose all dignity around each other habitually..

13......... Marry someone who has intimacy needs that match yours. Marriages can work between joined-at-the-hip couples, and they can also work between highly independent couples. But it's hard to sustain a marriage between a clingy person and a standoffish one

14........ Spend an embarrassing amount of money
spend on yourself a designer bag you love or heels that make you feel incredibly sexy. Chances are, when you have a joint account with your hubby, he's not going to get why a purse is worth the GDP of a small country.

15....... Wear a hip, fabulous ring on your left hand.
I know this can be a kind of deception but it will save you some stress. Once you have an engagement band, you won't want anything detracting attention from the ring and you will focus on your project.

16....... Plan your fantasy wedding together.
Now is the time to let your imagination roam—rip pictures of dresses from magazines, size up ceremony venues, and try on some rocks at the jewellery store. This is stuff that really wigs guys out if they witness it, so get it out of your system now.

17..... Have your dad take you out to dinner as often as possible.

18..........Hone a signature lingerie style.
Figure out what cuts and colours are hottest on you, and develop a look that's all your own. That way, your one-day groom will follow your lead...and not buy that hideous, baby-pink, with tacky machine lace bra that looks but absolutely ack.

19............... Want a cat?
Scared though get it, you won't know it importance until you have it. Heed this bit of advice: buy it now. You can call it Snowflake, and let it sleep next to you in bed, beside you. If you wait to get a pet with your betrothed, it will end up being a big, slobbering lab called Bif, or some other butch name, who drools all over your designer floor cushions.

20............ Eat what you like, when you like.
If all you feel like eating for dinner is ice cream and diet soda, buy a cone and pop a Coke. When you and The Mister chow down together all the time, you'll be less likely to indulge those bizarre—but oh-so-satisfying—cravings..

21...... Travel with your sister(s) and/or closest female friends.
Not saying you can't do this after you get married, but lots of ladies agree there's something especially liberating, eye-opening, and bond-bolstering about doing it beforehand.

22...... Travel with your future spouse.
Everyone can get along for a weekend, but see if you can stand each other for a whole week, dealing with travel dilemmas. As a woman It will not only made you a stronger individual coming out of it, but it also show you never to take love for granted.

23...... Dump someone.
Wow, risky buy just try it may be not the G.
But pleasant experience or not, it's empowering to be the one who called the final shot in a relationship at one time or another.

24...,.. Get your finances in order.
One of my close friends made it a point to clean up her credit and make some serious sacrifices so that her future husband wouldn't have to carry around the burden of budgeting mistakes she had made while single. It's also not a shabby idea to do it for your own peace of mind.Talk about your finances with your future spouse. Make sure you know where you stand on long and short-term goals and spending vs. saving. Depending on how much either one of you is willing to bend on certain things, money matters can be serious buzzkills for marital bliss -- or, at their worst, dealbreakers.

25....... Have at least one big blowout fight with your future spouse.
Dangerous but it must come so just do it, make it up. It's good to know you can get through it.

26..............Face one of your biggest fears.
Be it skydiving, public speaking, or dining in public alone.

27......... Try having a friend with benefits.
If only to make sure that friend you have is the best you can run to for assist.

28.......... Focus on your education.
Not that you can't do this once you're married, but you may want to spend pre-martial time on getting one -- or several! -- degrees.Get started on making your career dreams come true. Same as Understanding each other’s values.

29.......... Long before making that commitment to spend the rest of your lives together.
it’s important to communicate and discuss your individual values and beliefs, such as religion, family dynamics and rituals, and politics. You may not always agree, but you need to respect each other’s viewpoints and ensure that they’re not a deal-breaker before walking down the aisles. If you do find yourselves on opposite ends of the spectrum in one area, know that it can still work, but it might take some extra effort and pre-planning in your relationship to decide how to handle conflict before it happens.

30...... Talk about money.
Whether you like it or not you going to assit yourself. You and your significant other should agree on fundamental topics like finances—even though they’re not always fun or easy to discuss. 100K may not be on your mind when you’re in your 20s, but it’s crucial to have this discussion ahead of time so you’re not finding yourself in situations down the road that could do damage to your marriage. Talk about how you'll share/divide living expenses, how you plan to live, and whether you both expect to work till retirement.

31........ Talk about kids.
Like the money talk, the conversation about kids is an important one. Do you both want them? If so, how many? Share your vision before you exchange vows. Having children is a huge commitment, personally and financially, for the rest of your lives, and does change your relationship with your partner. Couples go into marriages thinking it's something they can work out later, or one thinks they can change the other person's mind, but it rarely ends well. It's important to agree on this one from the beginning.”

32........ Take dance lessons.
Consider taking dance lessons, but for an entirely different reason than you may expect. Yes, it’s a great way to learn how to move on the dance floor with one another, but equally as important, it’s time where you can literally step away from the stresses of planning. It's an opportunity to learn together, laugh together, and spend time together, phones down and focused on each other.

33..... No secret

This one na jara

Romance / Re: She Sent Me This After We Had Sex by RuggedSniper: 3:08pm On Nov 18, 2020
pocohantas:
1) Why do Naija guys think sex is a loss to the lady?

2) Why will a guy and girl have sex, then Naija guys will call only the lady olosho with borehole pùssy?

3) Why is there so much emphasis on female chastity and virginity, but none for guys?

4) Why is male infidelity more tolerated/accepted than the female one?

5) Why do Naija guys turn totometer, trying to calculate the mileage of their girlfriend's vagina?

6) Why will you give a Naija man a blòwjob and he'll be wondering which man's dick you learned it with?

7) Why would a Naija guy date a girl and when they break-up, he will be happy he at least fuckéd her. Does it take something away from her? If yes, what? Is it a gift or collateral to the guy? If yes, why?

8 ) Why are there thousands of thread on guys analysing the female vagina, its depth, width, colour... in relation to her sexual partners?

9) Why is a sexually experienced guy a stud and his female counterpart, a slut?

10) Why are Naija girls slutshamed for being sexually expressive, whereas the guys can share sexcapades on ashawo beer parlour thread? grin grin

12) "Virginity is the best gift a woman can give her husband".
Do you agree with the above statement. If yes, why? cheesy

13) "A man can love his wife and fùck around, but a woman who does same can kill her husband". Do you agree with this statement. Discuss in not more than 6 lines. grin grin

14) If sex is indeed pleasurable for both,why does the female get all the antagonism and the guy gets the accolade?

If you can correctly and sincerely answer these questions.
The answer you seek lies therein.
^^^ (1) (NOTE): Referencing the #10. "Ashewo Beer Parlour Thread." The correct Yoruba spelling and pronounciation is: "ASEWO" without the letter "H" or "ASHEWO" NOT ASHAWO which is a bastardisation by some people especially of Ibo descent. Ashewo is a PURE Yoruba word and is a contraction of two words "ashe owo": ashe (ase)[i.e., changer/exchanger] + owo [money] meaning "MONEY CHANGER" or "PROSTITUTE" because the female gives out "change" after being paid for the services. (2) AGBERO (not agboro) is another Yoruba word contracted from "agbe + ero" which means "PASSENGER CARRIER" with ERO meaning PASSENGER. I see these pronounciation and spelling errors being populated on NL and online. (3) Last but not least, the traditional society in mainly Africa and Asia have permitted polygamy for centuries. So men are socially conditioned to be seen as so-called "STUDS" and ladies as "SLUTS" when caught in multiple romantic affairs. Even Europeans and North Americans are overtly and covertly caught in that relationship vortex/cycle of "studs versus sluts."

Young and beautiful Nigerian lady has recalled how she got pregnant as a virgin at age of 23.

So she missed her period but didn't take it serious as she knew that she was still a virgin and there was no how a virgin could get pregnant.

But she finally found out that she was pregnant after 5 months.

She revealed more and how her parents reacted...

Watch the video and see more. Some that reacted didn't believe her though while some did. But it's possible?

^^^This is mad sick! The Wathoni "virgin chick" took part in the BBN 2020 edition. A DNA test should be done for the child just to be doubly sure of the child's real paternity... some other guy may also have been making out at the same time. A tiny speck of sperm can be easily transfered with the male and female fingers alone from a man's penile region into the female reproductive tract... leading right up to a landslide pregnancy! grin Wathoni's "virgin birth" story is quite believable... a cause-and-effect scenario.grin

Just two questions for you lad: Why are you a liar? Abi you lie for a living? grin

Na 700 blue pigs dem dey kill, not only 7 black cows — insecure lying nincompoop! grin

Will you ever answer the following question which I’ve been posing to you for ever:

Where are Bini people and their Kings’ progenitors from?

(A) Ife according to the “official” Benin account.
(B) The Sky according to the Benin mythology.
(C) Europe according to the 1823 Benin account.
(D) Egypt according to Egharevba’s 1953 edition.
(E) All of the above.

Feel free to use any of the following lifelines:

(1) Ask the audience, (2) Phone a friend, or (3) 50-50.

Anyways, the attached image below highlights one specific implication of the relationship Benin Kingdom has with the ancient sacred kingdom of Ife. grin

^^^TAO11! grin Thanks for the mention. Hope you're doing OK?... You're a reader's delight anyday with your well-researched, kickass historical posts. Wow... The archaeological excavations picture at Ife that you attached below is new to me. Thanks for bringing this to light! I'm a bit dissapointed that the historic Igbosere High Court, Lagos Island was badly destroyed and this is why people of Yoruba descent must not allow any part of Lagos State/Yorubaland to be used as an experimental battlefield for fifth columnists and the "awon were" external mob who spread fake news/videos on all social media platforms. The compulsory teaching of the globally in-demand S.T.E.M career fields such as coding/software development and the setting up of family cottage manufacturing industries among the Yoruba would help to prevent the massive destruction that nearly immobilised Lagos State and others. All the best.

Politics / Re: Niger Delta Vs Biafra: IPOB Crisis In Rivers State Reveals The Truth by RuggedSniper: 7:42pm On Nov 17, 2020
IkwerrePikin:
I am sad that the indigenous people of oyigbo LGA in Rivers state have become victims of circumstance in the crisis caused by migrants IPOB miscreants during the EndSars protest that led to death of security agencies in Oyigbo LGA.

Now if you have been following this incident you will understand how this issue have revealed the truth about the people of Rivers state and Niger delta (South South) at large, their decision of not being a part of Biafra which they rejected during the Biafra war in 1967.

The people of Old Rivers state (AkwaIbom, CrossRivers, Bayelsa, Rivers) after so much demands and struggle asking the federal govt to create Rivers state from Eastern Region which they were seriously marginalized by the Igbo led government, finally got their request granted and on 27th May 1967, under the administration of General Yakubu Gowon, Old Rivers State was created.

Surprisedly, while the people of Old Rivers state were celebrating their unique state were they can have full control over government affairs, Ojukwu out of greed as many would say, declared Biafra including the good people of Niger delta in Old Rivers state. This forceful annexation of the territory of the Niger delta people by Ojukwu igbo Biafra was resisted which led to the death of the innocent people of niger delta by Biafran soldiers. This is the reason why some ethnic groups in the Niger delta have their annual celebrations from the liberation of biafran armies which killed a lot of their people during the war.

The igbo leaders have refused to tell their children the truth, hence they keep believing that the Niger delta have interest in biafra even though some of the igbos who have read and made research know the truth that the Niger delta wants an independent state from every region of Nigeria, which led to the declaration of Niger delta republic In 1966 even before Biafra declaration in 1967.

Rivers people are happy with Gov. Wike, that is why not even a traditional ruler from Rivers state or even Oyigbo LGA have come out to say the security agencies are killing their indigenous people ever since the curfew in Oyigbo was imposed.

No Rivers state youth organization across the ethnic groups have come out to condemn the way Gov. Wike is handling the IPOB terrorist organization crisis in Oyigbo LGA. Instead we have the Rivers National Assembly Members who paid Gov. Wike a visit and declare their support, stating that Rivers state is Niger delta and can never be annexed by any group or region.

It is only the IPOB members across the social media platforms, using propaganda and blackmail to attack Gov. Wike, a man who is protecting the life, properties and territory of his people.

Take it or leave it, the people of Rivers state do not want IPOB terrorists in our state, we can not play politics with our territory, we know who we are, and what we stand for, we are Niger deltans and we have our own struggle, that is why even during the era of Niger delta Avengers, they made it clear they were fighting for Niger dletans and even threatened to declare Niger delta republic.

Igbo youths, stop allowing a few miscreants under the IPOB terrorist group to brainwash you with lies and propaganda, these people are only causing problems for the peace loving igbo people. They know the truth but have refused to acknowledge it, thinking by filling the Internet with lies and propagandas will make the Niger delta people be part of Biafra, it will not work.

Igbos should advice their brother Nnamdi Kanu to focus on his South East to achieve his Biafra rather than include the Niger delta people who do not care or participate in any Biafran celebrations. The way Nnamdi kanu is handling this Biafran issue, it will do more harm to the Igbos in the Niger delta and other parts of Nigeria.

Already there is a growing tension in the hearts of Rivers youths and elders ever since Nnamdi Kanu placed a 100 million bounty on Gov. Wike. How foolish is he to make such statement? He has provoked a lot of Rivers people, we are watching, and when we will respond, it will be very bloody for the Igbos.

Those Igbos who have brain let them understand this piece with an open heart and do the needful by calling their IPOB brothers to order, while those especially the Igbos who have decide to remain brainwashed and foolish should get themselves ready to dance the music when the drum starts.
NOTE: It is the South Eastern State (Cross River & Akwa Ibom) and the Old Rivers State (Rivers & Bayelsa) that were created by General Yakubu Gowon out of the Old Eastern Region on May 27, 1967, leaving the East Central State (now divided into 5 states) for the Ibos and the Igalas (Igala bloodlines are indigenous to Anambra and Enugu states). Hope this helps.

You can start with any general-purpose programming language like C++, Java, or Python. Start with these programming languages, learn the basic syntaxes, learn OOP, and then start learning data structure and algorithm. Later you can practice on competitive programming websites like HackRank, HackerEarth.
