The Supreme Court of Nigeria has ruled that Section 46 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act should be construed within the narrow confines of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, the precursor to the establishment of the EFCC - to prevent illicit financial outflow from Nigeria.

EFCC should not arrest anybody unless the allegation is about "illicit financial outflow from Nigeria".

Nigeria has gradually become the home of terrorism, internet fraud, kidnapping for ransome, killing for money rituals, etc. Now who do we blame, the people or the leaders of Nigeria?

If you put the blame solely on the people caught in crime that means you do not understand the role of leadership.

Quality leadership by a determined and incorruptible leader will reset the mindset of the people.

If a leader isn't stealing, his family members, friends and associates aren't stealing, then it will be easy for the leader to use his life as an example to reorient the people and change their mindset.

If a leader is strict and not stealing from the government like Bola Tinubu and co, it will be easy for that leader to use his lifestyle to influence the citizens positively.

Take for instance someone like Bola Tinubu, what does he have to tell the people about not stealing not looting not desiring what they do not merit when he is the father of corruption, chop I chop and whatnot?

Back in the 50s and 60s and even 80s, Chinese were more criminal minded than Nigerians but a single leader who had the determination to change the statusquo brought the desired change in China and look at China today.

The same applies to Singapore. They were corrupt, poor, disorganized until Lee Kuan Yew came onboard and began to lay legacies of transparency in leadership, contentment and incorruptibility and today look at where Singapore is?

South Korea was a very wretched country around 1970 to the extent they ate human beings for survival after the Korean war, Koreans became criminals and savages but a single leader with integrity changed the story of South Korea and today Korea is one of the technology hubs of the world and among the 20th richest countries in the world now.

The major problem Nigeria have is leadership and unfortunately Nigerians aren't ready to correct their leadership mistakes by electing credible men with less baggage, not criminals and political jobbers like Tinubu who take politics and state treasury looting as their full time employment.

Arresting these youths who have taken up internet crime as a job will never solve this problem. We need to address it from the root cause which is leadership.

Nigerians must learn to reject criminal politicians who are full time political jobbers and treasury looters.

A man held Lagos state on siege since 1999, deciding who will be next Governor, Assembly member, Senator, etc and you want to elect such a political thug and criminal as President, how?

Why schedule an interview with him when you know you won't put on a scarf? To score cheap political point or what? Just listen to the woman's defence? Talking as if the man forced her to wear a scarf.

Don't know why this crazy people derive some kind of joy in tarnishing the image of Islam and Muslims in general. Must you interview him without a scarf? If he isn't going to be comfortable with you interviewing him with your hair opened, why persist in the first place?

The True Story of Rhino…RENO OMOKRI
A story of an ungrateful house husband who turned social media hero… Read the rise and fall of Rhino:

Like I’ve always said, Rhino is not who he says he is….

First of all, his real name is Bemi**o…

I will start with the most recent lie he told…

24 hours ago, Rhino claimed that he bought his house in USA before joining the President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

Well, the truth is that RHINO HAS NEVER BOUGHT A HOUSE IN THE USA….

The said house was bought by his ex-wife, Tuokpe Onuwaje in 2009. The house, 1*41 ******* street, Brentwood, California belongs is Tuokpe Onuwaje’s family home.
Rhino was a house husband in the house – Rhino had no job, no career but the well established Onuwaje’s family in the USA welcomed him and accomodated him.
Rhino was doing “pastor pastor” so the Onuwaje family trusted him and started exposing him to their network.

For your information, the Onuwaje family is well established in California. The matriarch of the Onuwajes , 81 year old Mama Ayo Onuwaje is still living at the Brentwood home which Rhino claims he bought.

Rhino was broke and broken when Tuokpe Onuwaje picked him up. How did he reward Tuokpe? I’ll get to that.

Through Tuokpe’s elder brother, Godwin Onuwaje (May his soul rest in peace), an Igbo man, Barr. Emeka Maduewesi picked interest in Rhino. This connection would later link Rhino to late Oronto Douglas who was then SSA on Strategy to then President Goodluck Jonathan.

In 2010, Rhino quickly conjured a skit tittled “Emeka” to advocate for a better Nigerian branding. This was probably done to convince or fool Emeka Maduewesi into introducing him to the upper echelon.

Well, Rhino always has a way of using people – especially Igbos. He would later interview Oronto Douglas. That was his entry point into the Goodluck Jonathan administration. It was Oronto Douglas that first asked him to run errands for him and then proceeded to get him on Presidency’s payroll.
Rhino jumped on the offer – a proof that he was unemployed in the USA and found the opportunity of earning N1 m per month ($2000) a big financial breakthrough. Rhino’s job was to manage the Facebook and Twitter account of Mr. Jonathan. Slowly, he would label himself Spokesman of the President – a subtle way to exaggerate his role in the presidency.

With his new found job, Rhino started displaying his real character. He quickly forgot the years Tuokpe worked her a** off to feed, clothe and shelter him. He has become a big fish in Abuja. He would later be accused of making sexual advances at friends of Tuokpe – yes, Natasha Akpoti is Tuokpe close friend. For your information, Natasha Akpoti deleted her accusations to respect her friendship with Tuokpe and not because Rhino threatened lawsuit. Natasha was also planning to get married at the time she made the accusation and didn’t want to drag the name of her royal husband to be into the mud with a shameless Rhino. Now you know why the post was deleted. But again, Rhino took credit for something Tuokpe’s influence accomplished – this is what he has done over the years, taking credit for what Tuokpe achieved including claiming ownership of their Brentwood home.
At this point, I make bold to challenge Rhino to show evidence that he owns the Brentwood California home. In fact, let Rhino show evidence of ownership of any asset anywhere in the world.
The first time Rhino ever got a job in his life was when Oronto Douglas sneaked him into Jonathan’s administration. Unfortunately, this season revealed his true self to his ex-wife who realised that her “pastor pastor” House husband had an alleged double identity, alleged double sexuality, and confirmed double tongue. She would later dump him to focus on raising her kids who were abandoned by their father.
It will shock you to know that Rhino never invested a cent from his time in the job…. Upon leaving office, Rhino returned to the USA only to discover that he was now homeless.
That was when he started his Rhino- Around the World. He started a nomadic homeless life – using his new found fame to get free swimming invitations to several rivers in the world. Someone said that Rhino lives off women and that his travelling is funded by “rivers” he is swimming around the world.
Rhino’s travelling is actually a vagabond lifestyle – a survival Strategy he devised to hide his homelessness. Everyone thought he was traveling round the world on a global tour and thus nobody cared to ask about Tuokpe and the children at home.
His trip took him to an Ethiopian river. Rivers in Ethiopia do not encourage life jackets so what happened was a reproduction of another river from the Ethiopian river. Rhino’s world collapsed. He had been caught. First, he tried to hide it. But with people like Charles Awuzie, his double life was exposed. However, the birth of the new Nigerian-Ethiopian beauty gave Rhino something he hasn’t had in a long time – a home.
So as we speak, if you check the transparency tool on Rhino’s page, you will discover that it says something like “this page is managed by one person who lives in Ethiopia….USA… Nigeria.” Rhino now spends most of his time in Ethiopia – once again, housed by his Ethiopian woman and forgotten by his family in California. He owns no house in Ethiopia. He owns no house in USA. He sleeps from hotel to hotel as he travels for Poi across the world – bankrolled by his “rivers”.
My question is this – Rhino, at 48, when will you stop living a double life? This thing of a double life is not new – Ms. Wendell (daughter in-law of the Onuwajes) was the first to expose his tendency to live a double life. If you doubt me, just google his name and add Double identity and see what comes up.
This is just a piece of the iceberg….
I challenge Rhino to dispute any information I exposed here….
In all his years in the USA, he owned no house, no business, no job and only used “pastor pastor” to manipulate those around him.
Ask Rhino about Emeka Maduewesi – the Igbo man who helped him in life. Emeka is 100% Obidient today. In fact, I went to Emeka’s wall and saw where Emeka said those supporting Atiku are hungry for food. I knew Emeka had Rhino in mind.
I’ll stop here as I wait for a DEAR CHARLES AWUZIE and then the screenshots, documents etc will start rolling.
For now, I want you to know that Rhino is not who he claims he is…. He is broke, broken and uses women. This is why he publicly despises women, objectifies their body and advises men not to give girls money because he actually takes from women, he hardly gives to women. He However gives to men – if you know, you know.

Our name is Charles Awuzie. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Always expect us.

This is A MAN who is ranting about Peter Obi certificate.A con criminal

White guys really have good taste when it comes to selecting the type of women they want, they detest fat ladies, but you see our black guys especially Nigerian Guys, they don't have good taste for women.

Nigerian Guys can date shapeless ladies with protruding belly. No wonder Nigerian girls are becoming so shapeless day-by-day because they know we don't have good taste for women.

When are we going to start being objective about our choices by leaving religion out?

This same APC gave us a muslim messiah and a pastor that brought Nigeria to the trenches pro max². The most clueless and devilish administration in Nigeria democratic history.

When are we going to learn that it's never about your religion before you can do the right things?

Because if Buhari-Osinbajo couldn't safe Nigeria based on their religion alliance, no religion can safe us.

We shouldn't care about this Muslim-Muslim ticket at all, we should only be concerned about an administration (even if it's a Christian-Christian) that can safe Nigeria from insecurity, banditry, bad education system, tribalism, religion bigotry and so many others.
in this world religion is very important when it comes to government and leadership. I Doubt if a muslim will ever rule united states or china or russia or even our neighbour Ghana....Nigeria has two major religions and power needs to be rotated amongst the two religions for the sake of peace and unity.

You have a point. What Obi needs to do is confide in economic experts and fashion out a policy direction that differs from the current APC set up. He must be able to articulate his new paradigm in a succinct, direct, and professional manner. Right now he says stuff like ''we'll pull people out of poverty'', ''we'll end corruption'' etc .

I mean, those are very ambiguous proclamations that don't answer the question of 'how'? People are not stupid. They want to know how exactly you plan to do things differently, and they want details.

Obi needs to do more homework.
you think he will become the president without working with technocrats?

Buzzapper:
NEVER DO THIS IN A FLIGHT!!!

If you travel by air a lot, beware of over friendly chatty seat Neighbour's.

This older lady comes and sits next to me inside the plane. She asked me to help her put her bag in the overhead luggage compartment. But a gentleman sitting across quickly came through. (I am not very tall, and the overhead luggage compartment is something I try to avoid at all costs.
Immediately she sits down she strikes up a conversation. She was very pleasant and well spoken. So, we chatted all through the flight to Dubai.

Suddenly, when the pilot announced that we were now proceeding to begin our descent into DXB, my good friend 'developed' stomach pains. Me with my good heart, I pressed the steward's button, and the stewardess came to find out what the problem was. I told her my seat mate was not feeling well.

And this lady, she suddenly began to address me as 'my daughter'. The stewardess told me that there was nothing they could do except give her some painkillers and wait until we landed.

The pilot announced that we had a medical emergency on board and advised us all to stay calm. My new friend was crying and sweating like crazy. And she refused to let go of my hand... everyone assumed we knew each other.

So, we landed at DXB and the same gentleman who helped put up her luggage in the overhead compartment removed her luggage.

But as he removed the luggage, he advised me to distance myself from this lady and make it clear to the cabin crew that we were NOT travelling together. He was a godsend!

So indeed, the cabin crew came and asked me if we were related, I categorically told them we had met on the plane. I didn't know her at all.
So, we began to disembark and as I said goodbye, she kept begging me to carry her handbag. I was so torn... but the gentleman looked me in the eye and emphatically shook his head. He passed me a note telling me to let the cabin crew handle her.

So, I exit the aircraft and leave my 'new friend' to wait for the wheelchair and be handled by the cabin crew feeling very guilty.

As we waited for our luggage to come through, I hear this commotion. My 'new friend' was running, trying to escape the cabin crew, having gotten out of the wheelchair! She left the stewardess with her handbag and just ran towards the exit with the rest of her hand luggage!

Luckily the airport police were faster than her. They got hold of her and brought her back in handcuffs.

This lady starts calling out to me. my daughter... my daughter! how could you do this to me..... that's when I caught on. She was carrying drugs and she was trying to implicate me!

Luckily for me, the gentleman who had helped her with her luggage came forward and told the airport police that me and her had just met on the plane.

The police took my passport and asked her to reveal my full names if it was true we were travelling together. By God's grace, I had not even told her my first name! I was still asked to follow the police to a little room where I was questioned extensively.

Where did I meet her?... where did I board... where did she board. Etc... And my luggage was extensively searched and dusted for fingerprints.
They dusted all her luggage, and my fingerprints were not found anywhere on her luggage or on her handbag!

I was let go with advice never ever to touch anyone's luggage either in flight or at the airport. So, from that day, I don't care how much luggage you have, you will deal with it yourself. I will not even offer you a trolley to put your luggage on! Your luggage... your problem.... is my policy.

And if you can't reach the overhead compartment, and I am the nearest person, please call the cabin crew because all I will do is give you a blank stare and then look away!
