Sir,
Go and read kosoko letters with the portuguese. It is clear that Lagos was already a prominent city before English colonists arrived.

Find and read the letters and reflect on the kind of place Lagos was.

Get sense!
kosoko letters also pointed to the fact that Brazilian traders helped in the development of lagos, because of its importance in the slave trade business. My point is stop making it look like the yoruba's developed Lagos single handedly.

Lagos had been a contender on the West African coast for ages.

Why did Benin leave nearby Calabar, Port Harcourt, Warri to go enter partnership in far away Lagos?

Calabar was the first capital of Amalgamated Nigeria, not Lagos. Why did colonial administrators packed up from Calabar to go into Lagos?

Lagos is older Nigeria
Lagos has always been developed before Nigeria.
Lagos has always been rich before Nigeria.
Lagos has always been beautiful before Nigeria.

Get sense or I school you! grin
In 1863 the British established the Lagos Town Improvement Ordinance, with the aim of controlling the physical development of the town and surrounding territory. So is not like the yoruba's are the once who developed Lagos.

So why didnt they keep capital of Nigeria in Lokoja or Calabar, why Lagos out of the three options?

Get sense!
In August 1904, the two territories(Lagos colony and Southern protectorate) were amalgamated, with the combined territory called the Colony and Protectorate of Southern Nigeria. Lord Lugard was the governor general until 1914 when Lugard was assigned to the colony of Lagos where he brought all the protectorate together and called it "Nigeria". Lugard did this in Lagos and started operating as the first Governor General from Lagos which made Lagos the first Capital of Nigeria.

Calabar never served as capital of Nigeria, there was no one entity called Nigeria . It was a conglomeration of three different administrative units having there headquarters in Calabar for southern Protectorate, Lokoja for Northern Protectorate and Lagos for d colony of Lagos. Ordinary coup he can't accurately conduct. He should go and learn from Obama. Less talk, more action.

I Never Knew Onitsha Had A Large Body of Water. Thought SE Was Landlocked? God! When I saw the large body of water in Onitsha and waterways, I', almost cried. My wife just held me because I was angry at yoruba media propaganda for years. I researched online and saw Onitsha port was used by colonial whites during missionary and colonial era; were they stupid? The port was an industrial and commerce port as it connected to the waterways to Port Harcourt and Bonny which lead to the Gulf of Guinea and Atlantic Ocean. Yorubas, why are you people lying to everyone that SE is landlocked? Why are you people like this? I have lived in Lagos for decades, believe me, the water ways in Onitsha is just as large what you see in Lagos. Yorubas, stop this your propaganda against Igbo people. Stop it, kwu si ya!

MENTORCH:
You are so wrong, who told you the entire world doesn’t like men. Blackmen all over the world have more chances of fucking the races than any other race. I’m a full blown Blackman, dark skinned Nigerian I have bleeped all the races. I don’t know where in American you live, but you are totally wrong. Also, there are far more Nigerian guys marrying other races, than other races marrying our girls. Atleast 6 of my friends married young pretty white girls.
A rich Caucasian Man has better chances ahead of a rich blackman to get a date online with a Chinese/Japanese woman.

They just look so heavy, bold and strong

These blacks in the new world

Are truly a blessing, Africa gave to the world

Unfortunately through slavery
But they ended to become a blessing to the world

They just stand out in their movies and white movies and sports in America
all this doesn't mean they have swag

Nigeria needs to be self sufficient first, reduce the importation of basic commodities, increase Exportation of other resources and Nigeria made products, build more working refineries, ban the importation of secondhand goods like cars and wears. We need to stop been a dumping ground for almost every used commodity. This way I think there will be more dollars in the country leading to an increase in the printing of more naira notes.
