What about them? They have been increasing at double digit annually - now we just read 32B dollar budget. It doubled every 7 yrs - so expect by 2025 we will be doing 60B budget.
68816419:
what about Kenya's budgets revenues ?
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 4:50pm On Jul 02, 2020
For a long time it was 95%! We know what has happened to Oil - the last few years. So it's not Nigeria diversifying - it oil drinking water. Nigeria federal budget is stuck at 24B dollars. Only god knows how actual revenues and expenditure look like
68816419:
But u once said Nigeria is all about oil and that 90% of budgets revenues comes from OIL >?
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 4:24pm On Jul 02, 2020
I am not funny - I am serious. Nigeria are known for making ridiculously budget estimates. How many times do you project oil prices and quantities that are not realistic.
68816419:
very funny guy grin grin grin

Assuming you're midly interested in facts.

Kenya is not west african backwater. When KRA publishes it's results - you'll find them here.

https://www.kra.go.ke/en/downloads

So far we have until last year - the year ended exactly 24hrs ago.

Just30:
you are really desperate

next time, dont go anywhere to say your revenue is 20 billion again

such dead brain from kenya
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 4:17pm On Jul 02, 2020
Hobbit - sounds like we are wasting time here - when it obvious these stuff are beyond the rodent-eating class.
Just30:
apparently you don't

they only collected 5.5 billion more after that
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 4:12pm On Jul 02, 2020
Budget is an estimate or a projection - like GDP. Get me you real share of revenues based on what are actually collected.
68816419:
Nigga, what do u have to say about this ?
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 4:11pm On Jul 02, 2020
Budget is like GDP - estimates. Get me real revenues collected.
68816419:
Mad man, must u argue on every thing?
rvp2018: U always talk about Nigeria been fully an oil nation check out the aggregate between oil revenue and Non-oil revenues for the 2020 Federal Governments Budgets and not the states ones
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 4:07pm On Jul 02, 2020
I know kenya better than you.

The half year revenues were like this - focus on the last column - revenues were 8.5 billions - so you want tell me in next six months KRA went home.

https://khusoko.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/KRA-Statement-of-Actual-Revenues-and-Net-Exchequer-Dec-2019-1024x407.jpg

Just30:
Have you forgotten we are in the digital age?

they knew where they were going to be 3 months before the end of your financial year.

they had a definite answer on the last day of your financial year.
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 3:48pm On Jul 02, 2020
So in one day - they already know what KRA collected. The best they have is 11 months revenues.
Just30:
Good you know when 2019 2020 ended

The publication by standard was yesterday.

Zombie, now you see how stupid you are ?
Net time dont act stupid and lie again
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:51pm On Jul 02, 2020
I am pretty sure 2019 figures when that graph was made - had not ended - so there is asterisk you're missing hobbit. Tea doesn't have royalties smiley and neither do land grab pay revenues.
Just30:
keep ranting

educate yourself

removing royalties from tea and land grabs and your paper data unproductive economy is shit.
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:41pm On Jul 02, 2020
You're incorrigible.
Samorobo2:
Yes reduplicating is what shma does..I can only reduplicate my points back to you since this thread thrives on repititive argument...the fact that you hear my point from others doesn't mean I reduplicate, it only means it's the truth....you should learn to live with that truth and then deal with it..
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:40pm On Jul 02, 2020
You're confusing your informal economy with Kenya. Remove minning and oil royalties from your paper weight economy.
Just30:
will you shut up

your revenue is 13.7 billion dollars
exactly 14% of your fake data GDP.

should i adjust it to your actual GDP?
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:32pm On Jul 02, 2020
I guess your favorite rodent ate the rest of the taxes. Kenya revenues - taxes+AIA- are about 20B dollars.
Just30:
guy shut up

kenya revenue is 13.7 billion dollars as at 2019 which is 14% of your supposed GDP
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:26pm On Jul 02, 2020
Let me try another method.

In 2015 - Kenya ordinary revenues were 1 trillion Kshs - 10 billion dollars - from 65B dollar economy

In 2019 - Kenya ordinary revenues were 1.6 trillion kshs - 16B dollars - from 95B dollar economy

You see bigger GDP is equal to more taxes and more money for the gov - more money for business.

Nigeria overcooked GDP I bet has seen less revenues in 2019 compared to 2015 -

Let's face it - your country is OIL and nothing much more - just a sea of poverty with informal businesses.

obaaderemi:
You are not smart at all. You admitted your GDP in 2015 was $50bn. Even if you compounded it(which I already did anyway) you can't grow 100% in the space of 4 years with the kind of economic woes your country constantly faces. Bring another lie, let's bust it. grin
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:24pm On Jul 02, 2020
Free English lesson. Duplicate - copy once. Reduplicate - copy many times like you do. We know you got a raw deal education wise.
Samorobo2:
Like every foolish Kenyan he regurgitated and project his faliures on others...
The fool is just repeating what I told him and portraying it as me .
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:15pm On Jul 02, 2020
But you don't duplicate - you are always reduplicating. Sham is right - he has a problem with bs and ps - but he nailed it.
Samorobo2:
You can't even spell DUPLICATE properly and you want me to learn from you...
Do you now see why I say you are mad and dumb at the same time....
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:14pm On Jul 02, 2020
Your entire cities are slumpolis. When you don't enforce zoning laws - you will continue to see urban sprawl of slumpolis.
Samorobo2:
@rvp and shma this put the noise to rest..when you check the graph from Ghana,Nigeria, Tanzania,SA and try compare it with Kenya's you will discover more Kenyans are go into slum than any country here hence why I say your slum is ballooning and you have no right to mention slum to any country here...this graph immediately spell Kenya as a slumpolis..
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:12pm On Jul 02, 2020
Which rural areas of kenya are highly undeveloped. Turkana smiley maybe. And other deserts. Otherwise rural kenya where I come from - nearly everyone has electricity 24-7 - we have paved roads - and those not paved - are well maintained murram roads. Our small-holder agricluture is a model for Africa.
Just30:
the question is

do you know what development is ?

Because you rural areas are highly undeveloped and it is where 70% of your people reside.

grin
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:08pm On Jul 02, 2020
Kenya has always had a rural-focus to development - because we knew from word go - if we encourage rural-urban migration - with level of our economy - we would end up like Ghana or Nigeria. With huge slumpolis breeding poverty, crime and all ills.

You cannot have 50% urbanization when you're as poor as Nigeria or Ghana. South Africa got there recently. China is just about 50% urbanization despite their level of development now.

Now look at Ghana and Nigeria - huge informal slumpolis - where everyone is trying to escape abroad - otherwise they are hustling as hawkers, small traders and name it.

Read where most growth and poverty reduction is happening - Rural kenya.

https://blogs.worldbank.org/africacan/more-than-just-growth-accelerating-poverty-reduction-in-kenya

Just30:
no rural area in Kenya is developing

hence why most rural areas dont have roads in Kenya.
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:04pm On Jul 02, 2020
You're describing poverty that make it impossible to have 140b dollar gdp. 1% tax to gdp. Nigeria as country is doing 5%. You have overstated or overestimated your GDP. Actually overcooked it.
Samorobo2:
Like I told you I am not here for this back and forth argument..we've done this numerous times.. anytime we remind you of Lagos GDP which makes the effort of your country despite her cooking to looks like a child play you resort to noise and tantrums....Nigeria and lagos is larger an informal economy and lagos taxes Majorly the formal sector..so it is save to say Lagos GDP should even be about $200bn since the informal sector is larger than the formal sector...

Take your noise and go cry somewhere else...Lagos GDP is lager than any thing in Kenya..we have IMF/WB report as evidence for that..
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:01pm On Jul 02, 2020
Kenya is developing it's rural areas. Big difference with Nigerian villages. Majority of kenya rural areas have as good amenities as urban areas. You'll find electricity in nearly all kenya villages, piped water, and name it.

I was watching Mambila tea estate - and market center is shocking - the poverty in rural Nigeria is shocking.

In kenya - small rural centers have street lights.

68816419:
you lifted 1/4 of your population out of poverty by puting them back in slums right, U must be stupid my guy? and how comes 94% of them still cant own their own houese and the urbaization ?, u can only deceive ur selves and not we West Africans
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 1:57pm On Jul 02, 2020
I told you, he has no shame or compunction or scruples or morals. He is a typical Nigerian.
Shma:
you know well grin.
The thing that baffles me is how he keeps insinuating the same thing over and over again. that should tell a lot you know.
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 1:09pm On Jul 02, 2020
1) I don't work for Kenya Gov - and I don't calculate it. IMF are doing projections and calculations together with WB using the same figures.
2) We don't have a problem with investment - Ghana is attracting mining dollars - we are attracting broad-based investment.
3) PPP is useful for internal stuff - like calculating poverty. No sane investor will come to a country whose currency is as useless as CEDIS. Unless they are coming for GOLD smiley - or OIL - which is not sold in the country or in CEDIS anyway.
Just30:
have you seen anyone making blames ?

You are the one busy massaging your economics figures every single year like a Communist country.
Dem, that is desperate.

Don't confuse the 2, GDP is for internal use while PPP is for external use.
An investors looks at PPP to determine where to invest because PPP shows the rate of transaction in an economy.

Your country is not trusted on the international stage because of how much fake data you present.
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 11:04am On Jul 02, 2020
Evidence? Go back to renders slowpoke.
Samorobo2:
It's not two or three..it's 98% of Nigerian pop in Kenyan..
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 11:03am On Jul 02, 2020
IMF/WB will take any BS you tell them. Communist nations use to do this - lie and lie. It's like COVID-19 figures - WHO cannot come and overrule Nigeria - even if they announce zero covid-19 like Tanzania.

Don't hide under IMF. Those figures were released by Lagos State. Not even YEMI KALE in Abuja.

Samorobo2:
According to IMF/WB report as at 2018 Lagos GDP was pegged at $136bn..now it's should be $140...argue with your ancestors or let Kenya as a Nation compete with Lagos a city.. grin grin grin
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 10:17am On Jul 02, 2020
Google Maps is online. Thank you. Just tell me what you're doing to addressing the growing slum problem in your cities. 1.2M out of 3.7M residents is the figure I have gotten.

I can show you a map of Capetown
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 10:14am On Jul 02, 2020
Kindergarten math's.

2015 - 64B - when this thread started
2016 - 69B
2017 - 79B
2018 -88B
2019 - 96B
And we will get 2020 results next year.

Now you can argue until you turn blue but Kenya is progressing very fast.

obaaderemi:
Thank you for this truth @bolded. If Kenya's GDP was $50bn in 2016(year thread started) and you are growing at an average rate of 4% per year, that's $52bn(2017), $54.8bn(2018), $56.6bn($2019), $58.2bn(2020) grin
Thank you for providing the firewood and tinder with which I roasted you, Little Indian. I told you your economy is $60bn max!
cc Samorobo, justnotyou.
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 9:42am On Jul 02, 2020
Nope, Kenya is so good, it has taken down all the countries on this thread. And still triumphs. You're trying to massage Ghana little balls (ohoo we are one) last I checked. When this thread started Kenya GDP was 50b - now it's 100B. Kenya is making tremendous progress in all fronts.
obaaderemi:
If there is one basic thing this thread has done, it is to expose Kenya's lies to the world. For generations you have lied about your data and put forward a front as a tourist haven. But now we know you are not only poor but starving and dominated by slums. And that your economy is far smaller than it is. My boy, Kenya is the worse country on this thread.
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 8:43am On Jul 02, 2020
Anybody can write any nonsense in Quora. Lagos state generate 1.3B dollars internal revenues. Kenya with less than 100B dollars GDP generate 21b dollar revenues. You want to compare the two. Don't reason like a Neanderthal.

Lagos state like every Nigeria state spew all sort of propaganda including declaring their economy the 7th in Africa.

They just like repeating popular lies in their countries bereft of any interrogation.
Justnotyou:
They mostly compare their respective ppp's to kenyas nominal gdp & spit all over our faces with their ignorance. Even guateng in 2020 doesn't have a higher gdp compared to Kenya's GDP.
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 8:33am On Jul 02, 2020
Lagos only have bigger GDP than Kenya in your dreams.
jln115:
Fair enough..........but was I wrong though? Lagos does have a bigger GDP than Kenya.
