We come to you forum, you come to our country in troops, squeeze yourselves, 10 to 20 in one room. Nigeria, TZ and DRC are the countries we cannot take seriously. Find us having issues with progressive nations like South Africa or Ghana...and you can say we have problems indeed. obaaderemi: |
Kenya overtakes South Africa in Avacodo exports - and now target the South American countries for global market. https://farmbizafrica.com/images/avocado_stats_africa.JPG |
Devolution is second growth engine we needed. We ought to have done this early. In 20 yrs we will have 47 cities...from current 5 cities of Nairobi,Mombasa,Kisumu,Nakuru and Eldoret. nickyizzle: |
You one crazy Ujamaa and Undungu messed up dude. SGR is snaking it's way towards Uganda - we just completed Africa second longest underground tunnel - 5km tunnel. The MSA-Nairobi SGR is already on 8 cargo trains daily with 4 passenger trains. Ethiopia with their electric train are still on 1 train that occasionally stalls mid-way. Lapsset is on-going - LAMU port under construction - the road from LAMU to Garissa to Isiolo to Turkana and Moyale are under constructions. Resort cities are underway. The oil pipeline is being designed. There is no way Ujamaa and Undungu TZ can compete with Kenya in nearly anything. Ergo your tourism only got better when Alshabbab were exporting their madness to Kenya but now we've sorted out that. Kazikazi: |
Facts are stubborn.Rsa and supra africa are generally on another level.Feel free to add Botswana,Namibia and Mauritus in proper middle class countries.Next id put kenya,Ghana, ivory coast,Rwanda and senegal as most likely to break into proper middle class nations the next decade.Nigeria fate hangs with crude oil and so will others. |
Tanzania is puzzling until you visit to meet some of world laziest and docile folks. The number of poor people living below 2 dollars a day is 70%...twice as kenya.Tz has 44m hectares of arable land while kenya has 5.5m.It land size is twice kenya. Its has lots of minerals. It enjoyed more peace and stability than any county i know of in Africa. The problem cannot be ujamaaa. You see the same mess in kenya coast. The problem is Arabs deliberately created a culture of wangwana..docile arabs slaves...exacerbated by communism ujamaa policy they pursued. TZ,DRC and Naija are special cases...incredible natural resources has produced so much poverty. |
It will yoyo with commodity markets - if prices of gold or diamond go down - the economy goes down. TZ is mini-nigeria. Nigeria I have to admit is in special kind of mess. Tanzania is easy to fix ---- oops how do you fix a culture of laziness ? They need to open their borders so Kenyans can go and whip their lazy gossiping arses to work. TayserMahiri: |
Which TZ products - maybe Konyagi - you have no manufacturing base to talk about - I am pretty sure you import tonnes of manufactured goods from kenya and South Africa - and China & india of course.Annael: |
When did Westland become dirty Which part of Westland? Maybe you stay in Kangemi slum?naijalander: |
We lifted 10% more kenyan out of poverty as per latest data (2016 Household survey) the last decade - our poverty rate is now down to 35% - and definitely TZ has way more poor people than kenya. In the next decade we will lift another 10-20% out of poverty because our growth is broad based and well diversified. It not mineral-based growth that you've in TZ. That like Nigeria gazillion of oil barrels will NOT LIFT people out of poverty unless the gov was to invest the money to fund other sectors - something POOR NIGERIA is incapable of doing and now is proudly the HQ of World Poverty. Now let's talk about TZ - Tanzania, one of Africa’s biggest per capita aid recipients, has recently faced aid delays and cancellations due to western donor concerns about corruption, the slow speed of reforms and disputed elections in the semi-autonomous Zanzibar archipelago. While even poor country like Rwanda are doing wonders kicking out donors & aid - you DARE TALK ABOUT INDEPENDENCE AND FOOD PRODUCTION when you are depending on foreign aid to feed you. You see we became independent long time ago..precisely after 90s..when we kicked out foreign aid..Rwanda are doing it now...foreign aid is down to 18% of their budget from the high of 50% recently. Annael: |
LAST I CHECKED TZ WAS AID DEPENDANT LDC WITH HALF BUDGET FROM DONORS LIKE QUEEN BRITAIN.Kenya was last there in 90s and now aid of any kind is less than 1% of our budget. We fund 99% of our budget..not from minerals like you or oil like nigeria but from the sweat of our brows Annael: |
Your cheap sorghum beer or real barley beer obaaderemi: |

Ghana has always been beacon of hope in Africa right from Nkrumah.A progresive nation with very decent hardworking people.I see Ghana as Kenya equal. The same way i think Nigeria are DRC and TZ twins..the scum of earth Just30: |
I THINK SOMEONE NEED TO PULL THE PLUG ON THIS NOW TayserMahiri: |
Our corrupt police will eat their money then shoot them. That how kenyans operate..corrupt but get the job done. And that why kenya moves forward despite graft. TayserMahiri: |
THIS IS WHY YOUR COUNTRY AND TZ ARE IN BOTTOM.Your priorities are kinda like African americans..music,fashion and nollynonsebse. We care about serious stuff..Nigeria,Congolese and Tanzania are like triplets.Their priorities are so messed nothing can help them..not gazillion of minerals or arable land. The same pathetic work ethic, gossiping, witchcraft, bleaching, african print or colourful dress, nearly half day spent grooming and cooking..while watching nollywood or dancing or making merry..and end of day zero work done Nowenuse: |
So i have heard.Cannon fodder for corrupt police. They will lose their shirts in kenya.Kenyans are very adept TayserMahiri: |
Very true. They are scrapping the bottom of barrel.Kenya is so much ahead theyve to gang up and throw insults in lieu of sound argumetation TayserMahiri: |
They cant find their own buttocks with both hands. They export 2m barrels of oil daily and country cluster around niger, chad, tanzania, burundi and somali in most indices TayserMahiri: |
Yes we are as corrupt as nigerians but ours is benign.Admittedly this something we need to fix obaaderemi: |
Poor Nigerians now all over kenya. So am in my local pub and guy sitting next picks his phone with unmistakably Nigeria accent. Not sure if its a good thing considering the reputation of Nigerians but Kenya are equally corrupt. The waiter seem no to trust the guy and is keeping tabs on him.I guess with Africa free visa on arrival in kenya and free Africa trade we should be seeing them rushing here in droves to enjoy semblance of a functional country. Our companies will equally rush and do business in their backwater nation. |
Nairobi is not your typical slum city of Dar or Abuja or Lagos. According to international property consultant Knight Frank - Nairobi is on the watch list to become new GLOBAL SUPER CITY - together with DUBAI, KUALA LUMPUR, BANGOK and MOSCOW. The existing 21 GLOBAL SUPER CITIES are : On the list of 21 existing global super cities, the usual suspects can be found, namely New York, London, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney and Los Angeles, but as of late also Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Shanghai, Beijing, Melbourne, San Francisco, Washington , Chicago, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Frankfurt and Madrid. That mean NAIROBI will be AFRICA FIRST GLOBAL SUPER CITY and OBVIOUSLY AFRICA's HQ for MULTINATIONALS. Joburg just doesn't work for many global corporation and Nairobi is right at center of it - with modern infrastructure, english speaking well trained professionals, great climate, name it. https://allafrica.com/stories/201701050544.html |

https://www.cvent.com/ae/supplier-network/top-10/2018-top-destinations-mea.shtml Clearly everyone knows Nairobi is up there with great cities - while Nigeria slum cities are struggling to host some low key Africa sport meet. jaycent: |
Cvent Unveils Lists of Top Meeting Destinations Worldwide for 2018 - and obviously Nairobi made it. Middle East and Africa Dubai, United Arab Emirates Johannesburg, South Africa Cape Town, South Africa Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Marrakesh, Morocco Doha, Qatar Durban, South Africa Nairobi, Kenya Sandton, South Africa Cairo, Egypt “The cities featured in this year’s Top Destinations lists have invested significant time, energy, and resources into building premier locations that entice organizations, large and small, to plan meetings and events in their areas, |
Hosting an event is a chance to show-case the country and you just don't want to screw it up like you're doing. I am sure even Somalia would have done far better. This is so shameful. You're a special breed of people. Iwantslavesgone: |
Nigeria like Tanzania is special kind of stupid.Just see the mess going on in Asaba. |
They can't even blog without a gov license. The country is backward with some of laziest and docile people on planet. They are happy to be poor and proud to be primitive. Jay254: |
We are not backward to care about skin color of our farmers - we gave the British settlers an option to either become patriotic kenyans or sell land willingly - and majority did sale the land and went back to Britain - a few chose to remain kenyans - and we are okay with them. We are also very okay with foreigners coming here to buy land or house or anything. You can come as TZ and buy land & farm. Kenya is a free country - indians are now recognised as tribe. Obviously white settlers don't own even 1% of kenya land - arable or not arable. We learn from whites or indians or arabs - and advance forward. But look at you - TZ - you own all the land but you produce nearly nothing. Annael: |
Talking of Land - 100% of your land is owned by TZ Gov. That is one of reason why you're poor. You land is leasehold where gov can take it anytime of the day. Ours is freehold and we have very robust private ownership laws that encourage investment. Who is gonna invest in land where TZ gov can wake up one day and decide to allocate 100,000 acres to some Qataris for game hunting. To fix Tanzania - start by truly letting go of ujamaa communism and enact strong PRIVATE OWNERSHIP laws - starting from Land. Otherwise right now you gov can decide to take it anytime and allocate you another in some remote place. TZ like Nigeria should be busy encouraging white farmers from Zim & South Africa to come and kick-start your agricluture. Owning unproductive albeit arable land is useless. Annael: |
Don't waste a lot of time with slow, primitive and backward Tanzanians. TZ is a small Nigeria. Like Nigeria nearly the whole of TZ is arable and yet their agriculture remain stunted. The country has more population than Kenya. It has more landmass than kenya. You cannot compare Kenya with TZ - in nearly any metric. Kenya a mostly desert country with 10-20% of it's land arable and without any minerals of worth punches way above it's weight. Start even from agriculture - Nature gave TZ nearly 10 times more arable land than Kenya - and yet Kenya is world reknown agriculture country - leading in tea, horticulture, quality coffee, diary, nuts and name it. TZ like Nigeria is special breed of stupid.Countries people look at and condemns the entire black race as hopeless Now it's growing because of mining companies are investing heavily there but it remain a debt-ridden aid-dependant backward country with some of MOST laziest people on planet earth. At least Nigerians are hardworking and value education..but clearly somebody tell me what TZ is good in ![]() ??What exactly does TZ excel in? What are they known for even in East Africa or Africa - apart from Kiswahili & Nyerere . At least most of bottom countries of Africa can claim to be war-torn or tiny or land-locked or remote - but what can TZ claims has made them POOR- they have no tribalism - they are stable & peaceful - they have huge arable land - the non-arable land have lots of minerals - and lots of game - I mean TZ is one country that is truly hard to understand until you go there and find some of most laziest people on planet - with some of craziest laws. Take their labour laws - it basically nearly impossible to fire a lazy and now increasingly corrupt TZ. |

He deserves no mercy. Many of them have developed high BP over this comparison thing. Look at how only two Tanzanians are dealing with them and exposing them. The same way they are many here is the same way they are many on jamiiforum, the Tanzanian site. The mofos go from forum to forum to see if people are talking about them. Is that not insecurity? They can't build a site that people from other countries can come to. Boring animals.
