Beyond your paygrade. US exported Labour to Europe? and Africa? Which year was? You should have been failed in any exam - moderated or not. You see the caliber of Ghanains and the quality of their debate - their total lack of critical thinking skills? You're an indictment of your education system. Just40: |
How did US export labour and to where? This kind of stuff beyond your Ghana brain. EXAMS CAN BE MODERATED - again beyond your little puny brain. We can decide how many kids we want to score A - we can make an A - 50 marks. We have decided we want very few kids qualifying for universities. We are not a factory for cheap graduates to the rest of the world. From 2015 - we decided to deliberate make exams very hard and not to moderate the results - mass failure is intended to send them to vocational training. Just40: |
In 1963 - small holder farmers produced 10% ; multinational 90 percent of tea. Now - multinational produce 20%; small holder 80% KTDA - Kenya tea dev agency - is without doubt one of africa most succesfully smallholder tea farming. It regularly pays about a billion dollars to farmers. Appisko: |
Show me one country that has developed from exporting labour - start with philiphines and india and nigeria and ghana. We fail our kids so they can join vocational training Not acquire degrees without commensurate formal jobs. We can make the pass exams with flying colours like we use to do - exams are moderated - you decide how many you want to pass. You should do the same - and manufacturing will crawl - soon you will be china Do you see Chinese graduate all over world looking for jobs? Just40: |
Entire country arable - farming methods primitive - Ghana. Ghana is size of Uganda - you can feed 200 million people. 11 percent of country arable - world class farming - Kenya This my homeland - and we have done very well with tea - not just multinationals - but private farms - they are now close to 100 tea factories https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Lag34RqblI&t=4s Just40: |
When Ghana stop dreaming of going abroad never to comeback like Nigeria - come and we continue this conversation. Just40: |
Mad cow....we started from bottom in 1963 and have now caused a global tea glut....try to do that in one industry and talk to us from your cane rat hovel. What is democratic about Ghana military that exiled elites and even poor people to Nigeria. Murdering judges, politicians and elites - and the enforcing marxist rule? Your society has PTSD - and I hear you're harrasing NIgerians now. You need therapy as a country to treat Rawlings Post Stress Disorder. What Rawlings and company did is not easy to heal from. See how mad you've become? Just40: |
Madness 101. Get a grip of yourself. Will you drink all the extra tea? We already have global tea glut from kenya over production. India are starting to protect their industry. Just40: |
Now you quickly detoriate into madness. How can military rule be compared to civil rule. Your are yet to recover from what military did to you. Jerry Rawling literally culled your elite - leaving idiots like you in the society ![]() Many run to Kenya, South Africa, and rest of the world - many never will go back. Now look at you country - all the golds, oil and name it - country look like it's emerged from a war. Kenya is long standing democracy - while you're long standing military dictatorship that recently go into flawed democracy. Just40: |
Gold=Black tea? How that comparable? If you stopped smuggling you'd be earning 15B dollars annually from gold alone. Our tea is just 1.3B dollars. Just40: |
I see Kenya is ranked lowly because of disputed elections and claim of rigging. We just have one dude - who participated in 6 hour attempted coup in 1982 - we put in prison for 9yrs - and has subsequently been losing elections for three decades - and crying rigging - related drama including violence, swearing himself in and all shenagians. Hopefully we will retire him in six months time- this time permanently - now that he is almost 80yrs. Once we do that - we will rise in the democracy index. Kenya is one longest democracy - even during Moi dictatorship - it was still one of best in Africa. Just40: |
You're world leading producer of GOLD - literally named gold coast - yet your country looks like a cane rat underground hovel. Kenya minerals are so tiny - only a slowpoke talks about them. Just40: |
Such tortured arguments can only emanate from a mad man. Of course with Akans at 50 percent - and even other tribes very related - ethnicity is non issue - therefore your democracy out to flourish - and so does dictatorship. Kenya is mish mash of unrelated tribes - all who were ever fighting and quarreling - but our democracy is one of Africa best. In Africa - Kenya is one oldest democracy - with no coups. Deal with it mad man. Just40: |
We dont have oil well or gold pit to get money to be shared. The money that come from cocoa should be invested in cocoa Not taken and distributed in remote area. So that essentially is our logic - you produce - you develop. You produce nothing - you develop nothing. Just40: |
Joke from a country which has been under military dictatorship until 20yrs ago. Nearly 40yrs of Ghana is military generals. Kenya has only 6 hours of an attempted coup in 1982. We have held elections every 5yrs without fail since 1963. Every election since 19963 we send home on average 70 percent of leaders. Kenya has free and vibrant - local and international media. And this despite a country of 42 tribes where largest tribe is not even 20 percent. You can imagine a country where most tribes are 10 percent and less. The average tribe is actually 2 percent of the population It's very quarrelsome but we have managed it. What you have going for you - everyone is almost Akhan (sp) tribe - so it's very easy to do politics - as ethnicity is no biggie. Kenya main problem remain ethnic politics and corruption - otherwise everything else is on the mend. Just40: |
We thought about that very seriously. Btw 1970s till 2010 - we decided - we cannot waste our meagre resources to develop everywhere. We developed a economic strategy that focussed development on high potential areas (cities, arable rural areas) and where people are really there. The rest we left for UN and NGOS. When we did that - our economy grew very fast - and the videos & pictures are testament. Of course some areas became remote and marginalized and in 2010 - we decided to fix that - now we have devolved gov - and those areas are emerging from under-development. You gotta make a choice if you dont have oil and gold ![]() Just40: |
You're crazy. Nobody expose its warts like Kenya. It's the reason most of you knew Kenya as being Kibera and poverty - and these kind of threads are eye openers for you. Most foreigners come to kenya to work in social enterprise - to work with poor people and poverty. We have a vibrant democracy - one of Africa longest surviving democracy - a free media - and everything exposed here. You keep posting post 2015 results - when we decided to make our exams hard - evidence enough that we are ever reforming and changing for the better. Nigeria the zoo is miles away from kenya - a vibrant democracy - with free media (all global media houses) - vibrant social enterprise/ngos (social capital of the world) - with ability to reform itself. That is why you guys are struggling against 1) a semi-arid country that is water deficient and 2) barren of minerals obaaderemi: |
China incredible construction machinery - timeline of 9 months construction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idB81gXYgjo |
Because they know this. Why do you want us to go and build a city in the middle of nowhere - with nothing but camels and cattle? GeneralDae:
|
Some lebanese based in Dubai literally copied Dubai but forgot to bring in the camels. gallivant: |
All tests failed like the Turkish lira. Turkey should concentrate on textile and leave china man to handle such engineering feats.gallivant: |
Would you rather the money went to Arabs - in wasted fuel - and in even more costly man hours - and stress - in terrible traffic jams. Chinese ought to recoup their investment. If they want to do it in 100yrs - the better. They should build us more and more. Again we already lose more than 1 million dollars in traffic jams - that is saving the economy will make. It's toll road - you dont want it - dont use it. Kazikazi: |
Those turks are not ready for such serious business - I pity Tanzania - the maintainance bill will cripple them. Cheap is expensive. gallivant: |
The middle of the road is reserved for BRT - therefore it's devoid of any distraction and is called gold standard brt - no exiting or entering cars causing mess like the failed Lagos BRT. People will use the footbridge - then descend to those tiny bus stations - bus arrives every 5 minutes or less. Unless a bus breakdown - nothing should stop the bus - and so it will arrive on schedule and will carry more capacity than Lagos - again - failed BRT system. 68816419: |
You the usual Lazy and dull Tanzania. You expect China to invest their money without any security or form of gurantees. Just say you're used to begging - and not ready for business This is why you have now taken over all our streets begging. You are used to old China that use to give you things for free. Like TAZARA that was given to you for free. So how do you know China? When everything you got previously was to freebies to support communism ![]() We have seen China in Kenya for 20yrs And they are incredible - delivering projects on time, on quality and on prize. And they get better. And we are ready to offer them guarantees - because of what use is Bagamoyo now - it's a fishing market. While LAMU we have 3 deep sea berths ready for business. If you see a chinese stranded in Tanzania - please send them to Kenya We will give you a Nigerian in exchange ![]() Kazikazi: |
Kenya SGR runs at 120Kmh. Tazara can barely do 20kmh when it's not busy stalling. I hear you take 3 days to reach Zambia. Focus on such aspect - not the beauty. Our SGR cover distance of 500kms in 4-5hours. Kazikazi: |
You went to China when it was communist like you - it was a poor bicycle riding country of rice growing peasants like Tanzania now. This is NEW totally completely different CHINA. We dumped the west - and embraced the new China. Now you're embracing Arabs - and leaving your old friend China - when it's become rich! What is wrong with you? Chinese came and asked for little gurantees on Bagamoyo - and you spawned them ![]() Yaani when everyone is running to China - even the US and Eu - some little poor Tanzania think they are smart ![]() Magufuli NONSENSE. Kazikazi: |
50kms is conservative figure. MSA to NBO has 98 bridges. Nairobi to Naivasha has 28km of bridges - and 8.5km of tunnels. Mazera bridge in Mombasa is 45m high..150 feet or close - taller than anything in GHANA ![]() Nairobi National Park has a 9km long bridge - that is also sound proof Kazikazi:
|
200 buses on 21kms BRT. Kenya is going for gold standard BRT at the median. Kazikazi: |
Tanzanians thought they were smart - Magufuli the character - they went for cheapest contractor with cheapest design - and their hopeless railway is stuck 300kms. Wait until the trains start to stall daily. Cheap is expensive. The turkish are building their SGR and the egyptian their hydropower - they will get something that cheap. Anyone with half a brain knows you give such jobs to CHINESE - and they get it done - to world standards level. gallivant:
