It is surprising that Tecno Phantom's thread is way more active than this.

O'boi where did you get you sum from? Are you aware that the Google Nexus 4 is even more expensive than Samsung Galaxy SIII in Nigeria? Except you sell it at that price, please don't spread false information here. Before you crucify me, just check slot, jumia, smartbuy etc. websites.

I am so getting this phone. Thanks to Lord Reed's pics. The only thing that will stop me is if there is a better product from the company before I am ready. The Camera quality is okay and the phone looks really sexy; especially with the flip case on. Thank God for Nairaland! To think I was consideration SGS 3(Although there is not basis for comparism). This phone has what I need in a phone, since I am not a phone freak.

Finally, I have been able to download whatsapp on my Nokia Asha 200. Although, it does not minimize, that is normal and it should not be a problem. I will just use it like I have been using 2go.

Please do. Expecially the picture quality. If you can snap the phone, that would be nice also. Someone promised to do that today and he is yet to do it.

Guys that have bought this phone should tell us how about the picture qualities. The phone is very nice, but I read that picture quality is nothing to write home about in some websites. How clear are the pictures? What about pictures snapped in low lit areas?

Guys that have used this phone should us about the picture quality. I just saw this thread today, and I am interested in getting this phone instead of a high end branded phone. I decided to google it and I read virtually all the relevant reviews...the issue of picture quality came up. I read that the picture quality is really poor when taken in low lit areas. One of the things I need in a phone is a cool camera feature.

www.fcsc.gov.ng...there is no hw the list would be released without it been put on the site. But, these guys are stalling sha. Like I said before, all you need is prayers. There is no 'oga' that is bigger than God.

I want to believe you are talking about Foreign Affairs, if so, then you are right. As for Labour and Education, where did you get your information from? I am just a concerned Nigerian, it is not as if I applied for Labour or Education. I applied for Foreign Affairs and I got the job. You guys are just confusing yourselves. If any list comes out, it is going to be on the website of FCSC. At least I checked mine on the website. I will advise you guys to pray well, because if you are looking or depending on someone, the person will/might fail you.

research[/quote]I have researched on the above mentioned phones, and I think the Google Nexus 4 is the phone I need. It looks cool, has some cool specs etc. Although it does not have memory card slot, but I am okay with it.

The problem here is that the amount you stated here is way below the amount for a new one. For the 8GB, it costs 65k via Jumia, while the 16Gb is around 73k via jumia also. So, I want to know if there is somewhere else I can get a cheaper one, or I should buy it via jumia. I want the 16GB device.

I have always wanted to get a cool BB because of cheaper data costs and the likes.

I am not a phone guru, so, I don't know anything about phones.

Due to my intention of getting a BB, I decided to check out the phones section.

I was suprised when I kept on seeing Android os, infact it got so weird that majority of the android propagandist were Techno users.

Now, I want to ask the house which phone can I get within the range of 50 and 55k.

I need a phone that-
1.Has a very nice camera-front and back

2. A phone that has long lasting battery life.

3. A phone with the latest os in the maket.

4. A phone that is not complicated.

5.A phone with wireless and wireless hotspot.

6. 3/4G capability

7. A phone that has a large memory

8, A phone that is stylish and very cool, I just got a cool job.

9. A phone that will not 'hang'

10. A phone with cheap data cost (this is the most important).

11. A phone with lots of free apps via apps store.

The aforementioned are my basic needs. I need a phone mainly for taking cool pictures, surfing the net, streaming programmes, downloading video and audio files, maybe games, research work, chatting.

I could have insisted on BB, but with the intention of RIM to make BBM multiplatform, I decided to change my mind...but the data is another factor.

I have also read about the Airtel and other gsm network data costs, but are they efficient.

I also want to use my phone to browse on my laptop instead of subscribing for both modem and phone.

NB. I know TECNO is a cool phone, I don't like it and I want to advise Team TECHNO to go somewhere else. I am looking for a cool phone.

I thought I was the only one. I am a Christian, but I have never typed amen or liked any of those pages. Those guys are using people's situation to drive traffic. I saw one recently, it was something about a fatal accident and the picture was uploaded, then the op wrote something like 'if you don't want this to happen to you or any member of your family type amen', for goodness sake people were typing amen. I have never seen a negative comment, expect the op deletes them sha.

I just called the guy, he said he was the only one that was called, but he saw files of other people that have done theirs. I think is now an individual, no longer state by state issue. I also think there are people here that have done theirs,even here on nairaland but they are keeping it a secret. Let's just hope they call us also, and endeavour to make sure you keep your phone charged and with you always. If the could call on a sunday...

That was what I was told. I still don't know how possible it is, but I know for certain that he was called and he has done his. The guy has been in Abuja since after the interview. I will still ask for more info.

A friend of mine got a call yesterday to come for documentation today, he has since done it. He was told that he would be contacted after they take his documents for processing. He is of the same recruitment process with us and he was also interviewed with us. So, guys have any of you been contacted for documentation, please share.
