I suspect he drove with high speed straight to the trailer. It could be a drink and drive situation. Alcohol could make things closer to you look farther and it could also make things far away from you look close. It works differently in different people. It will take a high speed for the car to get underneath the truck. If not high speed, the car will hit the truck and veer off the highway. RIP. 3 Likes |

Very stupid Governor. He is as useless as his Boss in Abuja. He wants to create a state of anarchy in his state. Governors can do a lot to protect their people without Buhari's approval. They just need to think outside the box. Will Buhari stop them from installing security cameras on every street in their states? Will Buhari stop them from collecting intelligence? |

Politics / Re: Ajibola Basiru Asks Malami To Resign: ‘You Are Rubbishing Buhari’s Govt’ by saajus: 11:04pm On May 20, 2021 |
Before I thought Igbos always exaggerate that some group people naturally hate them in Nigeria, now I believe. It means the hatred has always been there but Buhari-led Govt just gives those people the effrontery to speak out. A whole Attorney General of the Federation playing an ethnic card. What a shame. Even a kid knows spare part selling is a totally different scenario from herdsmen's issue. Are those selling spare parts not paying rents? Do they destroy some other people's shops so they can occupy? What about taxes. Spare parts sellers are paying taxes but herdsmen barely pay. They said the cattle industry is a multi-billion naira industry, who is collecting herdsmen taxes? 1 Like |

Programming / Re: Can I Learn Programming With A 32-bit Operating System? by saajus: 6:33pm On May 19, 2021 |
It doesn't matter. You only need to download the 32-bit version of the programming language you are learning. Remember, a program written in 32 bit will surely run on 64 bit. You know 64 bit OS is faster than 32 bit. So, if most of your programming activities will involve heave data or graphics, you are better of using 64 bit OS. |
Career / Re: How Do I Become A Political Analyst? by saajus: 5:48pm On May 19, 2021 |
Make sure you polish your speaking, pronunciation, and accent. Accent does not mean you should speak like an American or British. Just learn to speak clearly so that everyone will understand you. If your local language has infiltrated the way you pronounce some words, fix it by practicing. Always let someone (mentor) you trust give you an honest review of any presentations you make. Don't choose people that will be deceiving you. Also, choose a dress style that will be your signature. try the following steps; - First of all, you must be familiar with the politics of the world and the politics of Nigeria. CNN, BBC, Aljazeera should be your favorite stations - You must know history. Watch a lot of history documentaries, read a lot about the slavery era, you must be able to narrate WW1, WW2, Cold War, Vietnam war, Biafra war, all Nigerian Coup, all African countries war/coup, all African past Presidents, and several other historical events if they wake you up from sleep. - Write on controversial topics that people are afraid of and publish them on social media. - Social media could make you a star in a very short period. You can also have your program where you host politicians on Instagram. Once you are popular through social media and one of your topics goes viral, keep asking for a column in one of our dailies. - Once you get a column from a popular daily, TV/radio stations will start inviting you. - After conquering Nigeria, keep submitting stories to foreign Newspapers and TV stations. If you go to their websites, they always have a spot where you can send them stories. Lest I forget, a statistical skill will help you. Teach yourself statistics so that you will be talking and writing with facts and figures. Also, read a lot of sociology, philosophy, and psychological books. Sociology, philosophy, and psychology will help you decode how human beings behave the way they behave. They will help you in your analysis. 25 Likes 2 Shares |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Can I Consider Gambling As A Workplace?? by saajus: 2:40pm On May 19, 2021 |
There are professional gamblers in the world. If that is your dream and you are very good at it, fine. Remember, no matter how good your system is, there will be trouble times. If you have the capital to survive the trouble times, then you can call yourself Pro. Don't waste money in a workspace except you have people working for you that you want to assemble in a place. Make sure you diversify your profits. Diversify in savings, bonds, treasury bill, real estate, online biz. 2 Likes |

Aston Villa is a good team but Chelsea should win Liverpool will smash Burnley and Crystal Palace. Lady luck is on their side. Their winning goal on Sunday is a sign. 6 Likes |

They will perfect it cos naturally self-driving cars should be perfect than human beings. self-driving cars can see more views at a time than human beings, so they should be reacting faster to human errors than humans. They will fix it. The problem may be the weather. Change in weather sometimes blur some images and make them look a bit different. I trust Oyibo, they will perfect it. They don't stop projects because of casualties. KingMicky3286: |

Oyibo people create lessons learned from every event. In fact, this will even energize them more. Their scientists will lock themselves indoor to solve the problem. Some of them sacrificed their lives for us to enjoy the technology we have today. We blacks fear death most but we die most. Science/Technology / Re: 20-Year-Old Rejoice Oghenero Builds Drones From Scratch In Bayelsa (Video) by saajus: 4:18am On May 16, 2021 |
You are right. I think it's possible for a country to produce all the parts but a company cannot produce all the parts. As you said, assembling is the first step. While we are doing that, I think some entrepreneurs should also be looking for ways for sourcing every component inward. Many Nigerians or Nigerian companies know how to couple technological gadgets but they lack the full understanding of theories backing the gadgets components functionalities. Manufacturing the components help people to understand how tech really works. That's the aspect Oyibo are hiding from us. Even the few Oyibo companies manufacturing some components here won't put Nigerians in critical positions that will expose some trade secrets and give them a full grasp of the technology. I will still blame the Govt. The environment is not conducive for manufacturing. Most Nigerians take their ideas to China, produce there, and import. The few ones like Innoson assembling here are doing it for the love of the country because if it's for profit, they can make more profit doing everything outside and pay Nigeria Govt import duty. How? I thought he did very well. I watched the video. It flies really high at a good speed. Once you got the basic principle right, additional effects can come later. If I have some money, I will find him, sign him up, and keep challenging his intellect. Challenges I will put to him: -Make it bigger -Add surveillance camera that can see from a far distance -Add LTE chip to control it through the internet -Add satellite chip to make it see satellite for navigation -Ask him to keep increasing the flight time -Increase the battery hours -Can you make it big enough to carry some load -Can we produce all the parts in Nigeria without bringing a pin from abroad? etc You will be surprised what can come out of him in 5 yrs' time. If he's truly 20, by 25 he can give us a world-class drone. WesternOligarch: |

Taking loss doesn't mean you shouldn't learn. Don't just take a loss and move on. Football aside, when you lose in a life event, don't just take the loss without analyzing why you lose. Are referees God? If they are so perfect, they wouldn't need VAR. Glad you are proud to be a typical Nigerian. In saner climes, people wrong statements with counterargument proofs. If you say something is wrong, you have to give a reason. pek: |
