You are very right. My brother, when we make examples we are talking of consistency. There will always be exceptions once in a while. Ghana reached the quarterfinals and may not get there again in another 50years if they don't improve facilities that could help their sportsmen. Nigeria too did very well in USA 94. Boss, talent is not enough. John Maxwell wrote a book titled "talent is not enough". I love the book. Hard work can beat talent if the talented is lazy or has bad characters or not expose to the right tools to help the talent. The major challenge of Nigerian athletes is tools.

Your genetics can give you leverage but if you don't add some other ingredients to it, you won't explode that advantage. Technically most African Americans are from west Africa and can you see how they are killing it in American sports. Look at the French team that won the 2018 world cup. 80-85% are Africans. That is how money comes in and goes out. So, most Economists understand accounting very well. Economics is very broad. Economists are not Petroleum Engineers but can tell you how to improve your daily oil production. They are not bankers but can tell you why you are losing money. A smart economist can even handle an accountant role. As u said, Accounting is fixated. Just tell me what comes in and what goes out, don't spend on what we didn't budget for, and advise on how to maximize taxation so that you don't overpay.
