while it may be difficult at the first time...u really need to stand on your ground of a reduced screen time, they will adjust, no matter how they scream..do not give-in. constantly remind them as kids learn through repetition. with time they will adjust. it was diificult setting this rule for my daughter but we did it after countless noooooos, she doesnt even beg me to let her watch her tablet..she knows its gonna be no unless its screen time

Buy flashcards and let him enjoy learning. Children are also different, his learning pace might be different, dont rush him, only encourage him.
