It is a very easy thing to solve but the leaders really don't give a fck when they know majority of the citizens are fucktards.

That said, apart from the financial aspects, comparing to alternative activities others get into in their spare time, e.g. getting drunk, watching "their" club (from a place they have never been to), getting high, going to church to prayer worship, praying 5 times a day etc, I would rather spend time on NL. I enjoy imparting knowledge. Far more intangibly rewarding to me than gaining no knowledge or gaining rubbish knowledge.
