FamilyRe: Divorce Settlement And Child-Support Be Introduced In Nigeria? by Sagamite(m):
dayokanu: Actually i can say its purely coincidental .

A guy finish school starts working at say 24yrs he is earning peanuts that cant even buy him jeans, Later they promote him to middle management and he gets married promotes to senior management and he buys the house in Lekki, Abuja, etc buys plenty cars

Is it the marriage that made him rich and buy houses or just that he has paid his dues at his place of work and its time to reap the fruit of 17yrs of education plus 15yrs plus of professional work?

Where i used to work in Nigeria many of our partners got married when they were already very comfortable I dont know which woman made them reach there

maybe their mother, and sisters sha

Those married men who live in face me I face you Were their wives not giving them focus, emotional support and psychology?
It is not even disputable, that crap argument about "her contribution"?

She go university for am? She did his professional exams for am?

She can only claim contribution if she can prove if she was taking out of the equation he would not achieve what he achieved if he was with majority of other women instead of her. It is as senseless as some Settlements officer in Goldman Sachs saying his contribution is what is making GS profitable when what you do is easily replaceable. If a trader that leads a team that makes one tenth of the profit talks about contribution, then we can hear about contribution.

Some shythead dental nurse would come and say she contributed to a footballer playing football. What contribution?

biolabee: I never said some anytin abt balance o
I said focus

Some men start planning for the future more seriously when they become family men
It may be the wife, the kids or just reduced testesterone

@Sagamite true i agree it shd be based on a reasonable contribtion
No, you are being diplomatic. If you want a job with the UN, this is not where to get it.

This is what the person said:

"PS: A man can not buy land and build houses if he's not emotionally and psychologically balance, and guess who provides that balance - the wife."

It is not redeemable not even if you go and worship in Redeem and get all the professors from Redeemer's University to help him.

The guy is a person!

Say it. Say he is a person.

Say it! Cut the diplomatic crap. A foool is a foool.

biolabee: also i feel FX is perfectly entitled to his opinion

He is right some pple never got focussed until they became family men
Really?

You are of the view that men don't have emotional and psychological balance without a wife?

biolabee: ive been waiting for the warlord sagamite

The truth is that no one POV is the ultimate one
Lets cut the diplomatic crap!

SOME VIEWS ARE MORONIC and are not even at a threshold to be considered. This is Nairaland, not United Nations Security Council. Call a foool, a foool!

biolabee: we agree that some women are treated unfairly and their contributions to the union not acknowleged

DK at times women make conscious decisions to stop work for a while It does not mean they are useless
Even in the US firms like KPMG give female execs time off without pay n career breaks to focus on their family

we all agree this law has been abused by feminist crap. it was not meant to be so from the start
Some women are treated unfairly, yes. That does not mean we should corect it by treating men unfairly.

They should be rewarded for their contribution to the union based on realistic and genuine value of the contribution, not some cretin saying they are critical for emotional and psychological balance that men cannot buy a house without.

dayokanu: I know you cant think for yourself. But at least seek help and find people who can think for you.

They have posited that the average Nigerian IQ is 60 but with people like you pulling it further down how can we progress?

I ask Is it only married people who buy houses, Who provide emotional support for the unmarried people who build houses?

When you want to buy a house, Is it the emotional support the realtor would ask for to hand over the title deeds of the land over?

The women that are the custodian of this emotional support why cant they use it for their own benefit and buy houses?

They use their own money to buy lace and shoes yet want to share from the house the man sweated, starved himself to buy

God punish thieves and their accomplices
You are stretching a pathological person's brain with questions. Do you think he has the emotional and psychological balance to answer without a wife?

FXKing2012: The eeeeeediot Sagamite and the male chauvinist dayokanu actually think they are making much of a sense...shows what a sick world we live in.

I once knew a man who could not concentrate at work due to trouble at home with his wife. It got so bad that his performance and productivity dropped drastically that his boss had to querry him. With no improvement he eventually got fired.

There was a pilot who was doing so well in his career and steadily climbing the ladder of success but this came to an abrupt halt when the relationship with his wife went south. He started drinking, and being a taboo in the airline industry, he got caught and got sacked.

There was this bus driver who was having serious issues with his wife at home, this drove him into smoking and massive alcohol consumption. One day while driving, he lost control of the vehicle killing himself and many others. Autopsy report showed he had too much alcohol in his system.

I could go on and on. None of these men ended up buying land and building houses simply because they lacked emotional and psychological support from their wives.

Now who says emotional and psychological support given by wives mean nothing?

It wont surprise me to learn that many of the men in here saying women contribute nothing and thus should leave with nothing are the same ones who treat their wives like objects at home. You think taking such a stance makes you a better man?
You are a person!

A product of a failed education system.

No 1 sign of being a product of a failed education is "I once knew a man"

No 2 sign of being such a product is using men who had emotional and psychological inbalance because of a wife as proof of a man needs a woman for his emotional and psychological balance.

Cretin! grin grin grin grin

I can spot them in a second and I never hold back. When I call someone a person, trust me, they are fucktards!

A bunch of ediotic entrepreneurs wannabes.

I don't know what value she would add to their business, the mugus just read that some firms engage in celebrity endorsement and the mumus too say "we must do the same".

The cretins have no business brain, this looks like a doomed venture in my view.

An entreprenuer that does not know how to manage and spend his money would most likely lose it.

dayokanu: So you need emotional and psychological balance to go to school Na wa oo

What of when I want to buy a car do I also need it? buying shirt buy suit etc

How much emotional and psychological balance do they sell 1 unit of Apple stock cos later when the shares blow and in divorce the wife would have contributed the emotional balance needed to buy those apple stocks

His arguments are just too steeeeeeeeeeeewpid!

Virtually all his points, I really had to just pick one because I no wan write one page.

It really pisses me off people like him have a right to vote.

dayokanu: Sagamite my realtor, I want to buy a house, How many thousands of emotional and psychological balance should I collect from my wife to pay you?

How much emotional balance is needed for a bungalow? how much for a duplex? Cos the emotional balance cost of a Bungalow must be different from that of a duplex
How can you even have emotional and psychological balance to go to school or get a job if you don't have a wife?

Yep!

You can tell she smiles alot in real life because her facial smile muscles seem very relaxed when she smiles.

Her smiles seem like an effortless mechanism when she smiles in that video, not a forced or half-hearted one.

I can easily tell.

That is the kind of killer smile that can get a nigga in the kitchen cooking for a chic. I shudder saying that but it is true.

Her smile would paralyse any guy's alpha-male fortitude.

She can't honour him by getting a "Honours degree" from a B.I.G university in the East side like Harvard, Princeton or Yale.

Dumb black people. Later they will be claiming it is the white man holding them down.

FXKing2012: How can sharing be done based on contribution when in many cases the man insists his wife stays home to take care of the kids. This is very common in Nigeria.
Now when the woman is forced to be a full housewife, where do you expect her to get the money to contribute from?

Besides, contribution should not be restricted to money alone, women/wives contribute in so many other ways such as providing emotional and psychological support/balance for the kids and husband; she contributes by taking care of the kids and doing home chores. Try calculating the monetary value of these activities by the wife and u will see that the wife contributes so much to developmental projects.

PS: A man can not buy land and build houses if he's not emotionally and psychologically balance, and guess who provides that balance - the wife.
I don't want to be rude but I have no option but to be blunt, you are arguing like a pure person!

So are you saying I, as a single man, cannot buy land and build a house until I marry a woman and make her my wife? I would not have the emotional and psychological balance?

FashionRe: what do you think of Low Cuts on women? by Sagamite(m): 10:19pm On Jan 14, 2013
londoner: Low cut hair really suits some women.

Years ago I cut my long relaxed hair because I wanetd to grow my natural hair.

For a about a year I wore a low cut. I really liked it.....but to some men I became invisible over night. When you rock two things, you either become invisible or attract a different type of man.....

Those things are

1 - Natural hair

2 - Low cut/short hair

I have longer natural hair now, but I'm seriously thinking about going low again.......the only thing is that my hair grows fast and I had to go to the barbers too often and also there is not much at akll you can do with it, except maybe dying it, which I dont fancy.

For me dreads look nice, but I like to switch up my style, so its restrictive.

I must say though.......South African sisters know how to rock their natural hair whether low or dreads.....seriously, here in Perth they have become my hair idols.

Nigerian women need to follow their example....seriously!!!! Beautifully and boldly African and natural. The weaves actually dont suit the majority of African women, especially as they follow it with overly applied makeup hoping to be beautiful by force......lol

Kudos to my S.A sisters......!!!!!

Some women dont need all the weave, or even makup....they are sexy from the inside out, it stem from their self confidence...........
I agree that a low cut does not suit suit all faces.
I was saying when next I am online I would post the video fo this girl but you beat me to it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoQyCKRyAgg

She does not need hair, she looks adorable, sexy and cute all in one.

And na Naija girl: Zainab Balogun.

Her smile should be insured for a $100m.

Most Naija girls don't know how much a smile adds to their beauty, go dey frown face all day like if say dem dey fight devil spiritually for inside dem head.

If a girl is smiling as cutely as that to me, me too I go gentle o.

Meanwhile u r supposed to be wedding in church in less than 3months,do u call off d wedding or simply go back to d court where u were wedded n annul it? Or just continue to hope dt u will eventually change ur attitude towards her n love her again d way u used to? Sincere advice needed pls!

darellrivers: 2. Ask yourself: Why do I want to study at Oxford? Why do I want to have a post graduate degree? (Many Nigerians want to do a masters abroad only so they can "migrate" to that country) and What would I do with it in the future?
Many Nigerians do a masters because they just want to pack as much certificates as possible. In Nigeria, that increases employability. In the West, it usually counts for little in employability, it is the quality of your institution that matters most times.

We only worry about our daughters being knocked up but the danger of STDs is real with our sons too. Girls these days are so bold in chasing boys and am horrified as to how seductive and wanton they have become.

RomanceRe: The Alpha Male Vs The Nice Guy – Which Do You Prefer? by Sagamite(m):
I just finished watching Dinner Date Australia on ITV where this absolutely beautiful Australian single mother was going on date with 3 men and had to select.

There was this guy called Marco that was the second date. I have never come across a more smooth and confident murrafcker in my life. grin I was smiling all the way through his date because I knew there was no way the girl could resist him. He was a Jedi Master in the "tease her and shagg her" game. grin His game was so on point in terms of what he said and his body language that I was smiling and nodding my head. She was so blushing, in awe and not in control. Then she said she was not sure because he came across as dominating when he said he has already named his future kids and she felt something like that should be a joint decision especially as the woman is the one that did the labour. The guy disagreed and said he was already considerate by letting his future baby-mama be the baby mama. grin

That was the second date. The third date was with a single dad. A single dad means he was definitely responsible and the guy was very nice too. They had a top range date where the guy said all the right things and as parents they had so much in common that the other 2 dates without kids cannot relate to. She said she loved every minute of it and the guy was so easy going and they had alot to chat about.

Guess who she picked in the end? grin

Yep, Marco. grin grin grin grin grin

He was the only Alpha Male that did not pander to her and, even though she was a single mother, she was still extremely stunning. She wanted the bad boy. grin

It is when her looks are lost or fading that the nice single father guy would ever have a chance. grin At the moment, her stunning era, her looks are all for Alpha males. cheesy

honeric01: Well sha, not every player can do justice to set-pieces especially free-kicks, we haven't really had exceptional free kick taker, not even Jay Jay.

Maybe Nosa and some other midfielders can take that up.
Yeah, I am not saying after training, they would wake up and be David Beckham.

But selecting 5 players and teaching them the art of free-kicks, you might get one that would come close, in free-kicks, to Rooney.

We can't continue being a team that cannot capitalise on set-pieces like we have become and a good coach should know that.
SportsRe: AFCON 2013: Keshi names 23-Man squad by Sagamite(m): 5:20pm On Jan 12, 2013
honeric01: Do we have any competent player to do justice to set-pieces? Nosa and Mikel are the only 2 players fit for taking set pieces, how many goals have we been able to convert for a long time now from free-kicks, corner kicks and throw-ins?
Persin no need special legs to take set-pieces especially corner kicks. It can be learnt and a coach should be able to get focus on it in training.

I learnt it and started taking them (corner kicks especially), so I don't see why professionals cannot.
SportsRe: AFCON 2013: Keshi names 23-Man squad by Sagamite(m): 4:44pm On Jan 12, 2013
One of the basic things I would use to judge this SE team in the ANC is their set-pieces.

The depth our level of football fell to in the last few years was reflected in how poor we were in things like taking a mere corner kick.
