As someone had eloquently pointed out; Christianity did not reform itself. In fact it quickly became barbaric after the death of Jesus - you could see corruption start to sip its way into the church in the Acts. While some cultures still use the sword, others now use economic and leadership policies. It makes no difference to the victims so why the defensiveness and accusations? It's human nature to Bleep with each other; you're no better than the people you condemn.
