It does happen anyway.
And that I can't call a name for you does not mean it doesn't happen to the rich... whatever you refer to as "rich" is also subject to a different debate

I wanna believe it's because people don't take that religion seriously as it doesn't really portray true Holiness due to their practices and some of their beliefs. so, much is not expected from them in the first place. Even Some things Christianity
and society abhor and see as abnormal is normal to them.

Christianity on the other hand carries so much attention and expectations due to what it stands for. So all eyes on Christians to see if they'll live out what it ( Christianity) claims and for any slightest mistake.
Reason the Bible says, "we are the epistle people read". That is why any little folly gets immediate attention and spreads like wild fire because of the high expectations and eyes already fixated on this religion which is generally seen, regarded and widely accepted as the most genuine and purest religion.

While you're partly right,I beg to disagree that this is a enough reason for Christianity to be under such attack on constant basis.
Even some Christians join on for reasons best known to them

Politics / Re: Ladoja: Tinubu’ll Be Law-Abiding, Respect Federal Character As President by Sagefromtheeast: 5:42am On Sep 27, 2021
AkalaJ:

My problem with you is that you have assumed the position of a mouthpiece of a non-existent constituency. What I mean is, at the end of the day, you can only speak for yourself on this issue, and you only have 1 vote. Contrast that with a grounded Rashidi Ladoja that is a political juggernaut in Oyo state and perhaps you'll begin to get my drift. Apart from your nairaland handle, I don't know who you are, therefore the constituency you claim to speak for politically is non-existent. Yet you are so bold in your assertions as though you speak for others.

Again, I repeat, you only have 1 single vote. But if e really sure for you as you assert, I'll urge you to better start mobilizing all those millions across the SW that you claim they also share your position, because Tinubu's ambition (if he gets his party ticket) will be a unlike any campaign that anyone's ever seen since the advent of the 4th republic, be it in terms of the money that would be spent, or the sheer mass of political activity that would be deployed in his favour across regions (go and write it down that I said that many other Yoruba politicians across party lines will line up in support of his ambition, if he emerges/declares). I just hope you and your ilk are ready to match all of that. Enu o shey (mouth no go am).
This is how silly asses like you wrote lengthy junk about buhari back in 2015

Bro, let me tell you something

A friend of mine told me when he came abroad, while most immigrants goal was/is to scout for jobs to make money..first thing he did was to register himself with a psychotherapist for a year to unlearn and relearn a lot of thing he inherited in naija before integrating himself into the country’s lifestyle.

Bro, we inherited a lot of vices that are inherent in us and needs to be cleared off our minds. The typical African or naija person is greedy, envious, malicious, wicked, corrupt, dishonest etc. Feel the air surrounding the country, it depicts the people’s personalities. I deviated from the topic because it is a subset of this.
My friend I beg to differ.
Your friend probably already had psychological issues before he travelled

The real MVP....On Nigeria's side, the current dispensation Nigeria Generals are just so weak n docile just like their civilian counterpart, Nigeria's Generals are rather feeding fat and growing pot belly instead of rescuing the sinking Nigeria. despite the rising cases of Top officers and commanders being killed anyhow, they feel less concerned. things were not this terrible when Ojukwu and Gideon orkar attempted to effect a change funny enough they were not even Generals yet

Okay, I now understand you. A great MOG who holds a yearly crusade, had held his yearly crusade as usual. One of the security men noticed a woman, walking in the dark area of the crusade grounds. She was stopped and questioned why she was patrolling the premises, she was asked to show the content of the bag she was holding. Well, inside her bag was a baby and a knife. She was arrested, and she opened up that she was sent to kill the baby and drop in the crusade grounds, so as to drag the MOG into a ritual scandal. Of course she was arrested and made to face the law, and mention those who sent her. So now imagine if she wasn't caught, a MOG who has always been free from scandal, would have been wrongly accused, and many Christians will join in calling him names when the news pops up. Not all of them are guilty anyway, like you said, there is a conspiracy against the religion. It's annoying to keep seeing these scandals no doubt.
Imagine how far people go to carry out their mischief against the church.
God will definitely save His own.

The politics is what has fragmented the Muslims into groups and nations under different Amirs, with each craving for dominance over the other.

On another hand colonialism and western interference into the politics of Islam has also led to bitter rivalry among the pros.
This can be seen around North Africa and the Middle East up to the South East Asia.
WOW grin

I don't want to turn this thread to Islam bashing and badgering but all I'd say is WOW!

What do you mean by the church is her own problem? Are you trying to say it is good to cover up sins and crimes? undecided . In Christianity, we don't cover misconducts, we call the person to order. The calling to order can be done in secret or openly. In some churches they give what is called "suspension" that's the right thing, and that's why even in our normal society ((outside the church), those who commit crimes are called to order/arrested/serve punishment. If other religions were not covering up crimes, then believe me you would have been seeing them daily in the news for several misconducts. By the way, yes, you are correct that there are several conspiracies against Christianity.

I'm not averse to discipline within the church context. My grouse is with the treatment it's getting on the media. They practically dig it up from wherever and make sure it shores up on Sunday.

Friday just passed and I didn't see any Imam this or Imam that but watch out tomorrow, before the end of the day you'll see one funny news about a pastor or just the church.

What anoys me the most is how so called Christians will gleefully join to rubbish the pastors or whoever.

Thank God you agree with me that there are conspiracies.

I'm just doing my bit in calling them out.

Calm down and learn!
If that's truly the order in Islam how come the daughters of prominent Muslims aren't forced into early marriage?

Have you ever heard of the daughter of any prominent Muslim being forced into child marriage?

Nothing to learn abeg. The so called prominent Muslims also practice the nonsense. Remember yerima.
I lived with Muslims, I schooled in the north and I still have many of them as friends.

Thing is what we cringe at is their normal, that's why it's hardly news.

Christian clannish ness is skewed towards their own denominations or in groups so you’ll see Catholics bashing Protestants and vice versa while Muslims hardly do that.

It's skewed alright.
To me, that's arant foolishness.
A classic case of house divided against itself...
As if they ask if you're catholic or protestant when they start killing Christians.
