I liked the discussion about corporates and the value they add to the society they are making their huge profits from, I agree with the person who said it is up to the celebrities to use their fame and relationships they have with these corporate giants to ensure that the society benefits in some way.

My favourite so far is a clip I found on Youtube of the first time they met in BBA 3, the chemistry was visible straight away, they couldn't keep their eyes off one another, Uti pretended not to notice her whilst checking her out from behind his dark sunglasses whilst she openly stared at him, Uti then gave her a quick hello hug before trying to move on and Sheila then pulled him back, demanding that he gave her a proper hello, so, so sweet to see what has developed since then,

Please, I didn't get the chance to see season 3 since i unfortunately live in the UK and have to rely on internet clips and videos, can anyone advice me how to get hold of season 3 or at least clips? I am desperate to see more of how they became so close!

SHE WAS COOKING ALONE IN THE KITCHEN. THE OTHER HOUSE MATES WERE BY THE SINK(OTHER HALF OF KITCHEN) THEY WERE TALKING. SHE KEPT LOOKING AT HM. THEN, HE CALLED OUT TO HEER ASKING HER WHAT SHE WAS MAKING. SHE DIDNT RESPOND. HE THEN QUIETLY LEFT THE GROUP AND WENT AND SAT DOWN BY THE KITCHEN COUNTER. THAT'S WHEN THE OTHER GUYS ATTACKED HER ABOUT TK AND HE BACKED HER UP.

To me there are those small things that seem insignificant but say a lot, like Uti making Sheila lemon tea , like Uti giving Sheila that million dollar glance of his, like Sheila sitting on his lap and Uti embracing him lovingly, like the 2 of them finishing up each others sentences, I just miss watching them for real

I remember when Sheila was evicted the first time and Uti was crying and she (Sheila) told Merly please take care of him. I was so touched that tears dropped from my eyes.

I REMEMBER THE LAST MEAL SHEILA MADE FOR THE HOUSEMATES, SHEILA WAS HAVING A DISCUSSION ABT NAIJA MOVIES WITH MUNYA IN THE KITCHEN, WHEN UTI CAME TO THE KITCHEN TO GET HIS SHARE OF THE DINNER SHE COULDN´T CONCENTRATE ON THE DISCUSSION SHE SAID ADD SOME MAYO, WHILE MUNYA WAS STILL TALKING, AS HE SAT DOWN AND STARTED EATING SHE ASKED HIM DO U LIKE IT, AND HE SAID YES. THAT WAS SO NICE.

(Okay guys, I had written this on one of the SHUTI facebook fan pages so i would write it again here since we are all sharing our favourite SHUTI memories).


One of my earliest SHUTI memories was the women's day celebration where the guys had to pamper the ladies (I think it was also the day Uti got the news about his dad's death)

Uti gave a speech on the strength of a woman and sang Tuface's "African Queen" (I was in tears)
Sheila couldn't look him in the eyes Something was happening that night.


There was this time she was in the barn and it was nomination time. All barnmates were watching to see who had been nominated. Biggy announced the names of the nominees and alas! the last name was Uti's. Sheila's reaction was be intimate with you guys, be intimate with you!!

I remember Uti telling Biggie d last day in the house dat he can't wait 2 have dat long awaited talk wit Sheila after the show wit a wink, How sweet dat he remember everything he said about his Love.

The two of them are spiritually attached together. Even during nomination, when sheila was at the barn, most time nominate the same people.

When Uti won head of house task, he said Sheila this is for you.

Re Shuti: It's difficult to be privy to everything that happens to someone for 3 months then just let them go live their lives. I think that is where the problem is, but the excitement will die down soon enough so please be patient with us.

I don't think Uti and Sheila should work together though, me thinks they are both big enough personalities to each have their own thing going. The people who need to start working together are Meryl and Mwisho, I wish they could hire me as their manager, I would make them so rich. And I'm afraid they have no idea what a money-spinner Merisho (what did we call them again?) can be,

@ SAGirl. I feel your point. This why I said I wish Mnet and Endemol give BBA a rest for at least a year. This year a lot of unnecessary issues and politics (regional, national e.t.c) have steadily creeped into d show and its been ugly and unnecessary. I am not really interested in d blame game of who started it first or what not (I have an idea of what really kicked it off). But d show is now over so people please let it go. BBA is not, should not be used as a political arena.

I Agree. I was going through the posts on the BB Facebook page and couldn't believe the level of hate that is there. And the worst part is I think BBA Producers are condoning and encouraging it. They are aware of what is going on out there and I think they should have done something to counteract it already. Do something that will bring us together and stop all the insults and hatred for each other.

Some people might think they are just joking but others read these things and take them seriously, that is how genocides and xenophobic attacks start.

Xenophobia attacks were not targeted at Nigerians, or any other country for that matter. In fact, Nigerians suffered the least from the attacks (compared to other SADC nationals) because Nigerians do not live in townships and squatter-camps. Hence me feeling the need to correct the perception that South Africans prefer people from SADC countries than from other countries.

You know guys, I really do not understand what is this thing with SADC vs. ROA. If there really is beef, I can assure you that SA has absolutely nothing to do with it. Yo people, I've been offline for the past couple of days. so i missed out on all the celebrations in here.

When IK called out Uti's name on Sunday evening, I SCREAMED. I screamed so much neighbours came to see what was happening. And I was just hugging them all. That was the best feeling in the world, not even that $200 000 was anything compared to the look on Munya's face. I was sooooooooooo happy!!!

Big ups to all of you, I have absolutely new-found respect for Nigerians. I want to move there, hook me up with a Naija husband please :-)

And when I'm going through the posts from Sunday, just before the announcement, I can see I am not the only one who almost thought Munya was getting it. When IK said 8 to 7, I knew Munya had won. So hearing Uti's name, man oh man!!!

I didn't catch the whole thing, and didn't catch on on Africa Magic later as well. Where can I watch the whole finale again please, I need to see it.

Okay people, I've downloaded MXIT on my PC. But where do i vote? Where do i go because all i'm seeing is CHAT!

I'll be voting Lerato this side to try and counter Munya votes. It's going to be difficult to secure ZA for Lerato because we have more Zimbo's in our country that us, and South Africans don't care much for Big Brother so very few of us are voting.

I think hoping for Kenya and Tanzania votes is a bit unrealistic, especially from the way Uti has been treating both Sheila and Mwisho. So you need to find other countries to target. Still hoping for the best though!

He he he, a priest with a foul mouth, Uti is certainly an interesting character, guess that's why am still up voting him. Sheila is telling Mwisho bout her and Meryl's escapades but somehow she managed to leave it out of her confesions to homeboy. The worst part is that K1 and others have hinted homeboy yet when he asked her if she had anything more to tell him she was like no and she wants the boy to believe her love declaration

I'm first African before I am South African. Before I am Black. And before I am a woman. So I wouldn't support someone just because she's from my country. I feel I need to support the person who represents what Africa stands for, someone i wouldn't be embarrassed to be associated with. And in this game, I would like either Sheila, Mwisho or Uti to win (in that order), but the other 2 would obviously loose to Munya at the finals and i would never risk Munya winning this thing. Hence I'm supporting Uti.

I actually used to like Lerato until the incident with Hannington (her arrogance with the whole thing). I voted for her and everything, but Hanni is the reason I started watching BB (it's my first time watching the thing so i do not have any history of the HMs from previous seasons).

I had overlooked all the things that made me feel uneasy about her (Lerato gossiped with Hannington about Tatiana. Then she was gossiping with Tatiana about Sheila. Then she gossiped with Sheila about Tatiana, Jennifer and Paloma. Then she gossiped with all the above about Meryl, even when Meryl was in the barn. Meryl being her friend and all), and that is why i do not like her. I can't even stand to watch her on TV, I have to switch to another view!

But we have to admit we need her in the finals in order to ensure Uti wins!

In other news, digging thru some namibian websites nd interviews, Meryl was said to have admitted dat mwisho knew abt d freaky friday nyt, there ar rumours also dat meryl is pregnant (i dnt believe it tho buh if its true,guess we wnt have to ask na who give ekaete belle? Lol)

Yes, remember Sheila told the barnmates that Mwisho knew about it and he liked it. But Uti is clueless,

I've suspected the Meryl pregnancy rumour to be true: There was a time she and Mwishi were in the kitchen and Mwisho started talking to the baby in her tummy. Meryl freaked out and Mwisho said he meant for one day when she was preggies. And then Meryl had also started gaining weight, even her face got bigger. But they have always maintained that they never got it on so i've always told myself it's just my imagination!

Sheila is definitely not herself since moving back to the house. She's trying to act like a lady: wearing make-up and a bra all of a sudden.

I love her, but i don't think Uti is the man for her. Uti is too conservative for her free nature. Their relationship outside the house would never work, she's better suited with Hannington. Meryl and Mwisho have a better chance of making it work than Shuti!
