RomanceRe: He Wants Me To Wait Till I Am 29! by SAGoddess: 8:30am On Oct 12, 2010
So OP, you want this marriage at all cost even though your man has valid reasons why the wedding should only happen in two years' time? DO NOT let your friends put pressure on you. . . . .this is not about them but you and your man! RELAX!

Hey Gangsta. . . . .how are you doing? How is Mantra? cheesy

Don't get me wrong Ejadamen, I love my hair natural but don't know what to do with it in terms of styling, you know when it is not long enough to plait/braid yet not short enough to look cute. . . .I am determined to stay natural though, a break from chemicals is needed so I am sticking to this, hopefully to last a life time! cheesy
RomanceRe: Why Do Nigerian Man Prefer S. A Women Over Nigerian Women? by SAGoddess: 7:51am On Oct 12, 2010
Hmmmmmmmm, I see you lot had a party in my absence  wink

Anyway, I am ashamed to be put in the same bracket as ZUMA (shower comments, sleeping with a woman he knew was infected without using protection and MORE and DR Beetroot who happened to be an alcoholic, the woman said the most absurd things about AIDS/HIV and our then President, Mbeki supported her, a low point in SA politics and how the world saw some of these idiotz in charge of the country!  SHAMEFUL! You would swear she was a RUNNER before she became Health Minister!

Your baby is so cute. Looks very igbo to me (maybe cos the child is so fair).

Cheers
Thanks blank, he is still light but maybe a shade or two darker than when he was born. Are most Igbo people light in complexion?

RomanceRe: Why Do Nigerian Man Prefer S. A Women Over Nigerian Women? by SAGoddess: 10:35am On Oct 07, 2010
@ oyinda, surely one is not restricted to dating within the borders of their own country. Love crosses any boundary and a person should be free to date/marry anyone they want to as long they they both want it and are inlove and compatible. . . . .if that is what they are looking for from each other! I just fine it a bit narrow-minded (no offence intended) that you say "Does this have to do with the fact that SA is multiracial? ie i would think that a black SA man who is not satisfied with SA women's attitude have no need to go outside of the country when there are white SA women around."

Will do. . . . . .I guess I have to read up on Natural Hair as much as I can. . . . . . .and ask questions when in doubt!
FashionRe: ***Hair For African Women*** by SAGoddess(op): 11:51am On Oct 06, 2010
I agree, natural hair is beautiful, I guess I am just frustrated by it's length at present but it is growing beautifully, nice and thick cool

I will get on with conditioning then. . . . . . . .and will be back here for more tips on how to take care of it, these tips will keep me going!
FashionRe: ***Hair For African Women*** by SAGoddess(op): 11:36am On Oct 06, 2010
Silly question from me but I will ask anyway cheesy when do I start with the conditioning and treatments? It's only been a month since I went natural, hair still short, ugly short that is! wink

Inked_Nerd:

You know, you can try making your own hair gel to try to help get you through the awkward phase of the hair growth. Hmmm, I don't even remember how I did it. just glad I got through it grin.
Thanks hun but my problem is not the hair gel but the length of my hair, not long enough to plait and not short enough to look cute. . . . . .and no I don't look like a village girl grin grin I brush it and press it down cheesy

RomanceRe: Ladies What If Your Boyfriend Says ''No Kissing And Touching''? by SAGoddess: 8:30am On Oct 06, 2010
I dated a guy for a while and every year, he would go on a fast and no physical contact was allowed (for that whole period, 40 days I think it was), it was fine because I knew what his reasons were. . . . . . so OP, if you don't understand the reasons or there is no time frame to the new conditions, then maybe it is time to find another boyfriend!
RomanceRe: Some Girls And Their Armpit Hairs. by SAGoddess: 8:20am On Oct 06, 2010
Bodily hair is unsightly, especially on armpits and legs, eeeeeeewwwwwwwww BUT some like it while others hate it so it is all about what one feels comfortable with!

I can't get a picture of Mo'nique's hairy legs out of my mind!!!
