Na wa oo. Its a spectranet modem that I unlocked to use with ntel and the guy has unlocked 3 times now. 2k paid everytime not to talk of transportation cost and time wasted going to his office at ikeja computer village. His ID on here is xhammel

Same guy unlocked mine and I've been using it for more than 2yrs now. He's one of the reliable guys here. So am wondering what's happening. Do u click on the update link? Cos that may be one of the problems

The network was blazing so much at the time but it was fluctuating to 12MBps, 15MBps to 18MBps... around that... So I had to use my video recorder and record screen to capture the Max speed

The greatness of Swift.... Doubt any other in Nigeria can deliver upto even a Quarter of these epic Speeds

I don't know where u get this speed from on swift oh. I stay around the MFM part of Lagos around onike and the network is crappy. I have data but can't even stream the champions league match. If it's working for u then I guess u're lucky.

I don't have such luck, might head back to spectranet.

Try icellpower inverters, they get the job done. Charging current for the 5.5kva should be around 75A

Nope it won't work cos the model doesn't have band 40, which is the frequency for swift and spectranet. The model u should be looking for is the e5573s-606

The Ibadan-ogbomosho 4oute has always been a death trap. So many administrations have turned a blind eye to the ever prevailing problem. Even the FG has acted as if it's non of their business. I have seen scores of people die on that route and it's as if no one cares.
I think we should all lend a voice to end this carnage, especially those heading towards the Ilorin axis too, it even more troublesome when u consider that there is a federal institution in that vicinity. I smh for naija.

Good news guys, Swift is offering a 2months for 2months promo, pay for 2 months and get 2months free and u can pile up to 12 months if u so desire. Is it just me or did someone else get the same thing??

About two weeks ago, I was at a Swift outlet to grab a SIM and join this 3k plan. The deal breaker for me then was Swift's rule that one must purchase a specific 8k plan — not just any plan — to get the (free) SIM.

Moreover, one can get to join the 3k plan only after the 30-day expiry period of the initial 8k plan. (I don't remember getting a satisfactory answer to the question as to whether or not one could migrate to another plan before the initial 30 days are over.)

Does anyone have a different understanding of/experience with this?

All packages which are device and SIM combos or just the SIM alone comes with an initial plan, which u have to exhaust before moving to another plan. Moreover, u need to contact customer service to do a manual change of plan for u as u may not be able to change automatically.

But my problem is that I noticed the free download ends by 6am and not 8am as advertised. So if Ur download crosses 6am, the data comes from Ur data balance. So take note......

The E5573s-606 mifi doesn't do band 20 used by smile, u can only get band 20 on the MTN mifi E5573s-320.......

Brother, since Glo has finally failed us, what the way forward like u said. Any options available? Cos it seems spectranet is the most consistent of all.
