Family › New Born Baby Resuced By Kind Hearted Lady In The Coker Area Of Lagos by saint2ace(op): 2:30pm On May 30, 2017
A mild drama ensued this morning at the Coker bridge canal separating Coker and Orile, when a new born baby was found dumped by the heartless mother.

Youths around the area heard the cry of the baby and decided to investigate; only to find a new born baby thrown away by the mother, a kind hearted lady passing by rushed to the scene and rescued the child, a baby girl and took her to a nearby hospital for medical attention, while a call has been placed to the district police informing them of the development.

The story will updated as events unfold.

Find attached pix of the baby.

It's not the APN that was the problem, for some reason the router was not seeing spectranet's frequency. When I did a manual search for available networks I could only see other service providers. Anyway, I did a firmware upgrade using a universal firmware and that solved the problem.
Okay then, good to hear that you solved it. Cheers

I unlocked my Spectranet b310s-927 but noticed I no longer get signal when I insert the spectranet SIM. Other networks (such as Ntel) which I've tested work fine. The spectranet SIM was working prior to unlocking, so any suggestions please?
Manually create a new APN using the following, APN Name: Spectranet NG, APN:spectranet, Username: test1@spectranet.com.ng, Password: test1 or alternatively you can leave username and password blank, it still works okay.

But hope whosoever unlocked your router flashed the webui cos if you accept a webui update from spectranet using their default webui, u'll have to go and unlock the router again. Hope this helps. Cheers

Have you heard of wifi.com.ng? I think they service Yaba. Give them a try. And it's unlimited downloads for just N9,500 24/7.

And please, do throw that Ntel modem away. Those guys aren't serious about their business. All I hear/read about them are complaints and more complaints from subscribers.
Thanks for the heads up boss, knowledge truly is power, no I haven't heard of them but I'll dig in now and find out more. Thanks a bunch

Bros u dey do us ojoro oh, i feel like crying right now. Finally got thru to the KKONTECH guys about getting a connection at my residence in yaba, guess what? their services are not available in yaba yet; they only have presence in Ikoyi, Lekki, Ikeja, Gbagada and i think i heard surulere.

I'm just so angry at the moment cos NTEL has finished my life in the past few days, didn't watch the champions and europa league matches cos of the crappy network, henceforth it's MTN abeg i no fit shout....

Anybody with a better service provider should please give us a heads up, by the way i use the YOKA KB2 - Android TV Box Octa Core WiFi BT 2G/32G, got it on Jumia last year and it's been sweet so far....

Is there ever going to be a day without issues from ntel?
Couldn't even connect since last night, had to call CC this morning and teach them a bit of what their job implies. Finally got it connected after plenty grammar and sitting on the phone for almost 20mins. NTEL i tire, am not resubscribing after this abeg, make heart attack no finish person life. Haba.....

I have tested a 4G glo sim in this model and it worked. I didnt even have to set anything on the modem. Just a simple plug and play
It'll work but u're restricted to just 3G, u can't do 4G on it as it doesn't do the LTE band 28 of Glo. Cheers

Did anyone receive this message from ntel? Well looks like they are saying more than sorry and turning a new leaf. First they brought back Netflix and Playstation over the Easter break and now they are offering compensation. Based on logistics, I will say 3 gbosas for ntel. They should make their network as cool as it used to be sha
Yeah got an sms from them yesterday, with the same details but a different code; hope that's not your real code sha, cos i think the codes are individualized. Unfortunately the validity for the compensation wasn't stated, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Can you post an image for unlock you did with Glo 4G sim? I'll like to get my B310s-927 unlock but would like to use Glo on it. If you have that, my modem will be on the next available peace mass transit to Abuja.
Glo 4G doesn't work on the B310-927, only the 3G frequency works on it. Only the huawei E5573s-606 works with Glo 4G.

Experts in Apology. If I'm not compensated, nothing will make me re-subscribe.
This is the first time they're apologizing for their constant downtimes, and to think it took them more than 24hrs after the said downtime for them to acknowledge it is simply unbelievable in this day and age.

Whoever is in charge of customer relations and client management should not only be sacked but jailed for gross incompetence and zero knowledge of customer retention and management.

I weep for my country....

I'm assuming since no one has replied me since yesterday, y'all don't have Internet access too. Ntel had done their best Work as usual
Had a bit of downtime around apapa yesterday but it was only for about 30mins. Service has been restored, as I was able to stream movies on kodi on my TV box, and it's been okay of late; limited buffering.

Don't mind renewable energy, theirs is expensive.; it goes for about 26k in other shops. My advice for whomever wants to buy it, is for them to be careful with the regulator as it has a tendency to misbehave.

It's been okay for some days now, got about 1.1mbps on torrent download yesterday; but it went off this afternoon for about 45minutes. Had full bars but wasn't browsing. But it's back now.

. Wow this is fantastic. I would love to be in a team with great minds like you. People that sees the positive side of ideas. I think we need a forum dedicated to energy innovation. Please where are you located?
Thanks a bunch for the compliment, you are well appreciated. Unfortunately i don't belong to any group or team, i just like postulations, theories and trying to think out of the box, there are a lot of people here who are positive thinkers unfortunately they are too scared to speak up for fear of criticism and the bashing generally attributed to "nairaland" and most places where people enjoy to put down others, but i know that those voices can't be killed but will speak out one day.

Why don't you start a topic on alternative energy and see the kind of response you can get, i can do it but i don't want to. i'm encouraging others to take a forefront and see the kind on contributions that will flow that way... All it would take will be about 20mins of your time to get the ball rolling, so what do u think?

Guys, I just tested unlocked Glo mifi with ntel's sim and it is not working. From the specs sheet it should support 1800mhz which is ntel. Could someone reconfirm please. Tanx
Create a new APN using NTEL as name then input ntel as the APN, leave username and password blank, then use it as your default APN.

Thanks for the reply. The one you tested, was it the one with mtn webui intact or the one with the Idea webui?
The reason i am interested in the mtn webui is because it has all the functions plus the ability to shut down the mifi remotely (using hilink app). Idea doesnt have that functionality but it is still okay sha.
I have both the original mtn webui and the idea webui and both worked though my mifi is the 320 model, and i know the feel about being able to switch off from the huawei hilink, i do it with the one having the mtn webui while the idea webui can only reboot, oh well sometimes you win some and other times you lose some.... that's life for you.

Interest. I ve upgraded my 606 and glo mifi so many thanks without issues. I believe I equally updated my mtn 322. The 302 was a general firmware update. How is the unlocking of the 927? The soldering part not jelly with me. I believe 927 has limited bandwidth support.
It wasn't an easy feat oh, i tried it at one time and abandoned the thing i condemned 2 USB cable in the process; the stress plenty had to give it out oh but i bought it unlocked from Rapid BTS when ntel just launched far back then, we've moved on since then. But the guy didn't remove the original webui so na him cause the wahala for me. But the guys in ikeja have resolved it and put a universal webui.

And yes the bands are limited to just FDD 900Mhz, 1800Mhz, 2100Mhz (B8, B3, B1) & LTE-TDD 2300MHz (B40) .
