eleojo23: That is very unprofessional. It's like he doesn't know you will rate him after the delivery. Jumia always sends a mail for you to rate the driver after a parcel is delivered. Lolz, how many of us fill those online surveys and comments? He's banking on that fact, so it's a case of nothing go happen..... Later he will give a report that buyer did not respond to his calls...... Naija we hail |

obinna37: Ceejay,saint2ace,abeg make una help me put mouth for this matter oo,my charger arrived on Monday, jumai sent message that a deliveryman with his phone number, will deliver it to me,deliveryman I no see, call his number no picking,he later call me with a different number, that's bike is faulty, since that Monday he is not picking my call, well I have decided to go igando their picking point to collect my item,my t.p going there will cost me up to 1k,and have already paid them for delivery. Send an email to Jumia customer service and state what happened for future evidence, secondly u can decide to go to the pickup centre and collect it urselves not minding the amount, this is the main reason I do pickup and not delivery. Lastly, u can call CC hear what they have to say and then chill, but Jumia CC number is a premium number, so the charges are expensive except u call the landline... All the best |

Kamaye: I am disappointed with aliexpress. I made an order last week with shipping method clearly stated as Ass, but they decided to ship it with 4px Singapore instead of the normal Singapore post. Thought I was the only one, saw shipping option for cainiao shipping, but after items were dispatched for shipping, I saw 4px Singapore. Other items have since arrived and these ones are nowhere to be found. Lolz.... |

Mofetemi: My Aliexpress package status shows: 'Nigeria, Arrived at destination country airport' since September 9. Till now i am typing, post office said my package has not been received and expected delivery timeframe date was September 14 which has equally lapsed. My question is ds: like how many days will it take post office to receive package o? Lolz, I have a package of 11th July showing arrived at country of destination that post office still hasn't called till date, 90days buyer protection has elapsed and buyer is not responding to messages to extend buyer protection. Wetin person like me go do? Nipost just has a bunch of very lazy people, they're sorting recent packages while older ones are left untouched, that's the country we find ourselves. elijahy1: But it seems the complains are coming from people who recently bought this device A classic case of people who make mistakes are always those new to a phenomena. Secondly, usage habits are never explained just the problems. In my house I have not changed a light bulb in 4yrs, some say it's plain luck but it's not, I power all my appliances through an inverter that has surge protection and an automatic voltage regulator. So high and low currents is not my problem, that way even my chargers are all intact; what I do now is dash out the old ones as I get newer versions. All I can is, treat Ur phone right and u will get the best out of it... But don't buy a goat and expect it to work like a donkey.... If you know you know.... |

I believe we should also use this opportunity to address the ills at our post offices too. A lot of people receive packages, pay for them and are never issued receipt of payments.
Please and please, if you go to the post office and you are billed, pls ask about how they arrived at the figure and ask for a receipt of payment.
Stop paying without collecting a receipt.. |

stanat: On top say u existed since the dinosaur era,u neva stiil grasp the basics of eco 101.your theory is only applicable in an ideal situation. The real reason umdigi or whatever they are called reduced price is because they expected a higher demand but didn't factor in unseen circumstances such as covid-19,which led to a drop in demand. So in order to boost demand they have to reduce price(even if they are market leaders in their niche,of which they aren't). its basic economics that even gala hawkers, agbo sellers or aboki gworo sellers apply. This is real market economics not those Soviet era economics u were taught in school that has left most developing economies in shambles.simple things are usually hard to comprehend. Abeg I no fit laff, what are models based on in any situation? Lexusgs430: All of you querying the economic principle, una miss some economics lectures.........
The higher the demand, the lower the price...... Is more to do with economies of scale + comparative advantage.......
The more quantities you produce, the lower the cost of production. If it's a niche market, you want to maintain customer patronage, hence offering deals to your customers, to sustain and maintain a healthy demand order books........
Your wage bill remains the same, so why not push the factory........ Thought about cost storage?....? Biggest cost to production is storage etc etc etc...... Make i continue.............
All this indomie generation should come tomorrow for Economics lecture E001............ Egbon dem say Na joke, so make we just laff and move on. No be everything need answer... |

Valentinooo: I have not been refunded sir. They claimed my package is in my country. That nipost refused to update the tracking information Another unbecoming habit, our packages travel all over the world and are tracked appropriately, from point of reception to weighing and finally dispatch, you can see how Ur package is received and discharged from country to country; but once Ur package gets to Nigeria it all ends, you can't track it anymore. Your package is left in the hands of God. But the hard truth is that non tracking is deliberate cos of their fraudulent activities, cos if they update tracking, you can always find out who the culprits are responsible for every action, so in order to leave no trace they simply skip the track phase.... BoboNogoDie: I'm sure that you've been refunded. What do you still want. The truth is, Nigeria will definitely soon be blacklisted. Because of lack of prompt updates on delivery, many people will receive their items and still refuse to confirm their orders in order to still get refunded. THIS IS NOT FAIR! The bolded is the reason this I'll has gone on for so long and nobody is talking, so because one gets a refund, he or she should turn a blind eye to the wrongs being done? Have u thought of the poor business man trying to make a living that didn't get paid cos someone somewhere is helping him or herself to "free" items. Have we asked ourselves why so many shops close on AliExpress? It is situations like this. Please let's be guided in our utterances and always put ourselves in the shoes of these individuals. Valentinooo: On the 7th of March, I ordered a phone which was shipped on the 18th of March. Ever since then, nothing has been heard of it. The memory card I intended to use with the phone was ordered two days later, and that one has since arrived.
From the lamentations on the aliexpress thread, I noticed a lot of people are also in my situation. They bought phones which refused to deliver whereas the accessories they ordered days after ordering the phone got delivered.
This lead to the assumption that nipost staffs are deliberately holding on to these phones for reasons best known to them.
I don't want to believe these phones are being stolen by those that are meant to deliver them to us.
Why will I buy a phone with my hard earned money only for it to be stolen by people who are meant to deliver the phone?
This is corporate robbery and should be condemned.
How will a phone come all the way from China without missing only for it to get to Nigeria and get missing?
I have to create this new thread to make our plight known to the whole world.
I have also tagged those who are having this same issue.
