I've been using Samsung Galaxy S8+ since 2017, and the phone still outperforms most chinese mid-range brands flooding our market nowadays. Meanwhile my brother has gone through 3 different chinese brands within the same time period. He's currently using the Xiaomi brand. I've told him it will end in premium tears.

I have a Xiaomi phone since 2016 that has been handed down 4 owners and still functional, the screen is broken but very much functional and even for a 3gb phone it has never lagged.
Between u and me I'd rather buy a brand new midrange phone than an old premium version, that's just me saying. But that ends with phones, I'll do the direct opposite when it comes to computers.
But let's not derail from the main topic, my point is simple, there's a reason midrangers will continue to get the highest markets and that buying power and for what we use they provide "value for money". A fact that was realised by the Chinese brands long ago and only recently realised by our "premium brand". This is the reason u see them coming out with more pocket friendly devices, this in general is good for competition and the customers are at the winning end.

A lot of people who can afford phones with top-of-the-line specs like120hz refresh rates, QHD, IP68 rating, quick wireless charging, etc will still prefer to pick up other phones as alternative as long as they offer great value for money.

That's what made brands like OnePlus and Xiaomi popular.

Now we're talking, people's choice are simply based on spending strength and for most it's just value for money.
No one is arguing with the fact that Samsung is one of the best hardwares in the android world, but even their softwares are buggy, then those hardwares come at a price, this is a given.
The question however is, do we make use of all the features put in? Can we do without them? Are there alternatives to these and can it be gotten cheaper? If we put all parameters together then we begin to understand where we're coming from and going to.....
Remember the quest is value for buck not spending what you don't have.....

Having a high refresh rate makes a lot of difference in a phone. A higher Hz enables less lag and stuttering on display, and faster screen response.

Beautiful write up but u never talked about the cons of a higher refresh rate, did I hear someone say byebye to battery life?.......

Is Ur LG TV a smart TV? If yes find the Miracast app on the TV, pull down Ur menu slide on Ur phone. Follow the pairing sequence and u're good to go.

Within Mi 10 Ultra price range, I'd go for S20. It might not have the ultra features of S20u, but it has 120Hz, water resistant and memory card slot. It's a better value for money than Mi 10 Ultra, and cheaper.

Benchmark this, benchmark that. I can't believe someone is actually putting Mi 10 Ultra ahead of S20s.

Bro, S20s has 120Hz refresh rate compared to Mi 10 Ultra's 90Hz refresh rate. That makes it significantly faster than Mi 10 Ultra.

Now I see where the error lies, no one and I mean no one has said the Mi 10 Ultra is better than the S20 Ultra spec for spec, nah.... The argument is best value for money spec for spec and within it price range "it is the best phone in the world".

Please pay attention to my words, I chose them carefully

But for the sake of clarity and people who want to learn, run Ur comparison again, this time with the actual phone and not a substitute, pls include benchmarks for simplicity; then secondly add a section for pricing vs specs. When u've done these then we can run a side by side analysis on value for money.

From the second picture it's boldly written from 6ah - 400ah at 12v or 24v. So anything from 6ah upwards will work fine.

I'm still expecting mine to arrive, the thing just Sidon for China dey chill. So am just reading from the spec sheet on Jumia and AliExpress.

I have a3pro with damaged screen,will order for the screen on aliexpress when the nipost madness calm down....

presently i am using a7pro with a tough screen protector and a SOFT SILICONE RUBBER BUMPER cuz i can be careless at times......Check the image below incase you dont know soft silicone rubber bumper.

As for the camera....it ok or let me say its good...

Reach out to repairpalng and enquiry if the screen of the a3 is available...

I am considering getting the A7 Pro for someone and i dont want stories that touch the heart. I once had a phone that could not be repaired by anyonne around for a very long time.

Also, hope the camera is at least good enough? Thank you.

Some people stock parts at computer village Ikeja, repairpalng is one of them, like the guy above me said it's also possible to ship in the part from AliExpress. But the guiding principle for any device is to be careful while handling it. I hear the camera is good a d has improved with updates, so no cause for alarm......

Am ordering this morning to experiment the repair function for my 200amp ba3. This 10amp is the highest i searched for all tru jumia and charges 6amp to 200amp batteries. The 15amp found is not pulse and repair type. Pls if you have searched or know any other one greater than 10amp pls let me know b4 ordering.

N.B most types posted above are nice too but can only charge 150amp ba3 max plus max of 8amp charge.

Pls don't buy this, the amp is too low for large batteries, attached is the two I can recommend, the yellow has a start up current of 130v while the blue starts up at 110v, meanwhile they both have capacities to charge up to 400ah batteries at 20a for 12v and 15a for a 24v setup.

Pls choose wisely.... Cheers
