ollah1:It is because of people like you that have made Trump to go after Muslim's. You always find a way of justifying Islamic terrorism. This is why every Muslim is now becoming a suspect. Since the west caused islamic terrorism, why are they rushing to got there? |
ayoolanr:I agree with you. However, it becomes difficult to maintain sanity in these extreme events of Islamic terrorism all over the place. How many people must die before Islam calls it's adherent to order? You don't see the good Muslim's protesting against these terrorists and chant "Death to ISIS", "Death to Boko Haram " etc but draw the prophet and hell will let loose. They demonstrate with so much rage. Liberals have been pacifying Islam for decades and it didn't stop terrorism, it seems it got worse. Maybe unusual problems require unusual solutions. |
Brit's and hypocrisy, always doing as if they care for humanity. Are they not the same people who voted to leave the EU because they were promised that Britain will secure thier borders and get tough on immigration? Didn't they use pictures of Syrian refugees trying to cross over to the UK as campaign to leave the EU? They started all these problems cos their exit from the EU energised the hardliners in America and Trump capitalized on it. They should go and sit down, they are not different from Trump. |
Raiders:I understand. However, once upon a time, America and Europe were producing and they were not producing fake for anybody. The issue I'm pointing is that Chinese producers are as greedy as Nigerian importers otherwise they would have set thier standard and not compromise with Nigerian importers dubious requests. If I want to do bad and you help me achieve it, are we not partners in crime? |
mvem:The mosques they bomb in Iraq, Pakistan, Northern Nigeria, is it Christians that bomb it? They Sunnis could bomb a Shittes mosque vice versa. Is it not what they have been doing since they were born? |
MAN is hustling for thier own pocket not the interest of Nigerians. They will produce at high cost and pass it to Nigerians, Wetin concern them? I will only take them serious if they promise that the cost of product they produce will be the same or cheaper than imported ones. |
chukxie:Yes, you are right but they would also take part of the blame. The Americans and Europeans will never manufacture substandard goods no matter what. It is because they are as greedy as Nigerians, that is why they can be persuaded to produce fake. Where is their values? Like Nigerians like Chinese joor |
Congrats to them. However it is not in the students best interest to give them a perfect score. The pressure will be on them to show that perfection in everything relating to thier line of study. Are they practically sound? Can they come out tops among others from any part of the world? It would have been better for them to just be First Class graduates instead of 5.0 graduates. With all eyes on them, I just pray they live up to the hype otherwise both the school and them will be called into question. |
ishowdotgmail:Don't be too sure. i learnt that There are people under the payroll of the ministry of information working as social media influencers. They are sent to all social media platforms and thier job description is to counter all criticisms against PMB and keep supporting him. Make no mistake, there username are known to the ministry and they even have supervisors monitoring thier post in case they deviate. So they don't have a choice, they must do thier jobs. The normal PMB supporters criticize when needed ex is Doctokwus. I'm not saying that he is one of them but don't trust these guys, they could be on Lai's payroll. |
What MI said is correct in an ideal sense but in reality it's just like playing to the gallery. I had the same thinking like him years back but when things continue to happen without end, then there is no need being politically correct, you just have to say the truth as it is. There is a fundamental problem with Islam. For example, it is certain that there would be terrorist attacks by Islamic terrorists this year. where and when is what I don't know but it will always be. If Christianity, Hinduism and other world religions are like Islam, how would this world have been? The whole corners of the world would have been like Northern Nigeria and the Middle East, think about it. |
they should keep wasting our scarce forex. Idiots. |
wellmax:Bros, I don't think there is anybody who will say launching satellite is not good but we have a million more priority ahead of it at this moment. For goodness sake, 550m USD can get us 2 medium sized modular refineries which will solve our immediate fuel problems and boast our naira. etc So why take loan for something like that when there are more pressing issues? |
To be candid, this country don tire person. |
yns4real:The most important thing I expect Nigerians to ask is how Tinubu got money to own a private jet. Did he own one before he became governor? If we don't ask or don't care, are we going to have the moral right to question governors who will own thier own jet with state treasury? Corruption will never end in this country if we do not start probing all these super rich politicians. |
Toks2008:I agree partly with you. However it boils down to leadership. The empty headed leadership we have in this part of the world cannot solve any problem unlike the smart solution leadership we see in western world. Not all Igbo are interested in Biafra and they may even be in the majority. To solve this problem, conduct a referendum and even see the majority lies and don't be surprised majority will will vote no and this whole nonsense will end. If not for referendum, one would have thought that every Scotish person wants independence from the UK but instead of UK govt using her Nuclear armed military to suppress them, they allowed them vote. You See you can never solve problem of ideology with force. If after losing millions of people in 1967, and continues loss during demonstrations, they still come out to pursue their course, it shows that it is serious. The truth is that if present leaders who witnessed the first war don't solve this problem now before the die, it is going to be much dangerous for our children in decades to come. I wish the govt will be wise to tackle this issue smartly because they way the are handling this issue is breeding more hate than we can handle and remember in the hate game, there is no winner cos we all lose, the state of Nigeria confirms this assertion. |
harriet412:There is no way Seun can stop it. It is way bigger than what he can handle except he will just shut down the site. From the east, to west to north, tribalism has eaten deep in the DNA of an average Nigerian. Unfortunately all tribes in Nigeria as just too stupid that they fail to understand that in this hate game, there is always no winner. They all lose and no wonder Nigeria can never develop. |
seunmsg:This country will never make any headway as long as we keep on championing tribalism. Because the senator is Ibo, you now have to drag Ibo's into the whole charade. Why can't you address the senator as an individual instead of making it an Ibo thing? What of other people from other regions who criticize Buhari? If Fayose was an Ibo man, I know his rants would have been interpreted differenttly from what it is now. As a people, we really need to look beyond tribe when addressing issues because the truth is that in this game of hate and tribalism practiced in this country, nobody wins, everyone is a loser. |
Plz guys, What is the difference between synthetic blend 5w30 and full synthetic 5w30? When a manual recommends 5w30 it doesn't specify full synthetic or synthetic blend. so which of them should we go for? |
If APC was serious that PDP created the mess we are in today, the should have barred PDP members from decamping to APC. Anybody who supports according to party in Nigerian politics is just a mere fool. |
Unfortunately the army is now to political to win this war. Instead of being a professional force, they are now pandering to any govt in power and what they get at the end is political results instead of real results. Too bad. |
Nigeria keep deteriorating at a pace never seen in the history of this country right before our own eyes. Too bad Mehn. |
martyns303:oh, I see.... |
Dongreat:What are the giving him $4m for? and how would Sony make their money back? |
Dongreat:Bros, no vex, how does this work? Does it mean that the $4m is his own or a loan or what? |
PMB, any Nigerian soldier that dies in that operation will be on your head. |
Trillions, trillions and billions. At the end of the day, it amounts to nothing in the life of an average Nigerian. |
Hmmm, so China will start controlling our foreign policy now. From frying pan (America) to fire (China) |
The real achievement is the one felt on the streets by the common man. You can praise yourself to the heavens but the people want to be able to buy goods and services cheaper than what they were in May 2015 after all you are voted to make life better. As at now, food, drugs and basics are getting out of the reach of the common man and you have the effrontery to be talking nonsense? Nobody is talking of light, roads etc, those ones are now luxury to Nigerians. |
Kompressor:This goes to show you why politicians command large followership despite non performance. An average Nigerian youth has been battered by poverty to the extent that all you need to do as a politician to have them sing your praises is just giving them some little cash. To the OP, since he has been given 30k, it doesn't really matter if the govt is messing up. it doesn't matter if there is no light, road or cost of living is hitting the roof, he is satisfied. But do you really blame them? You can't because poverty can reset ones brain. The strategy of Nigerian leaders is cause widespread poverty and give stipends and the youths will die for you. |
Plz we need whatever achievements to translate what the common man on the street can relate to. This shouldn't be a year of paper achievements, I take God beg una |
Chibuhealth:Which Nigerian youth? The type of wailers and zombies on this forum? this tribalistic, partisan youths that support evil because of hate? |
We don't even have a national plan on industrialization. I agree with higher duties for yacht, SUV and the real luxury items. However it is just plain stupidity to increase duties on consumables at this time except the govt wants to increase the suffering of Nigerians. Who told those idiots that the few local alternatives can meet demand at competitive cost? Do you know that made in Nigeria products are much more expensive than imported items? The govt needs to do the first thing first, fix power and other infrastructures and everything will start fall into place instead of increasing the hardship in the guise of supporting local production. We can follow Chinese model, China had a 10 year industrial plan, they started with rebuilding their infrastructure from scratch, invested in science and technology simultaneously and at the end of their 10 year road map, they had all it takes to become self sufficient then the next 10 year plan was to become an export hub and today we have seen it all. Top class infrastructures, science and technology is what would spur local production not tariff hikes. |
