I love people who are proud of their age

I don't why countries invest so much in missile and anti aircraft defense instead of investing more in offense. No matter how good these defense systems are, they will be overwhelmed in an out and out war with a serious adversary.

The cost of producing this defensive missiles is almost the same with the cost of producing offensive missiles. If you factor in the fact that the adversary may field in cheap dummy missiles to confuse these missiles defense systems so that they are wasted then it makes no economic sense.

The design of the country is flawed from beginning. It is difficult to manage a country with faulty design.
Let me give you an example. In Canada for instance, even if I want to throw trash into the gutter, I can't because there is no open gutter anywhere in the country. All drainage is designed to be underground so you won't even see gutter not to talk of throwing something into it. Nigeria needs a total redesign, there is no magic anyone can do to get it right.

Correct. The problem with Nigeria is that the Patriots are not up to 2 percent judging from nairaland. Almost every one in naija is either a wailer or hailer . Until the percentage of Patriots in Nigeria becomes greater than wailers and hailers, Nigeria will never make progress and this is why the chances of Nigeria making progress is almost zero.

If China builds a democratic society don't you think the west could exploit that and try to forment uprising in the country? Even if the west is not planning that, that is the belief among the communist party members. The chinese government does not want external interference that is why the government has been sinicizing religion and censoring other things that serve as threats to the communist government. The Tiananmen square protest of 1989 known as Tian anmen square massacre in the west is still a hot subject in the country and the government is trying to erase the topic, the government does not want it to form the consciousness of the younger generation hence the blocking.

As China continues to make economic progress with millions of citizens being lifted out of poverty, the next wish for the average Chinese is to enjoy a free and democratic society to compliment their economic prosperity especially as they see their western counterparts enjoy it. A time will come when the communist government will lose control to the will of the people.
For example, China used to be a low wage economy but that is changing as their eye don dey open small small. In the next 10 years, there is every possibility that wage growth in China will catch the wages in the west. Why? They want to get to the standard of their western counterparts. If you can pay an American $10 to do a job, why should a Chinese take $3 to do the same job? So it is a gradual process.
So democracy will surely come to China and the earlier the communist government usher it in, the more likely the will overtake the US and the more likely they avoid a revolution some day. I'm saying this as someone who has Chinese friends

The only last thing China can do to topple the United states is to build a society that is more attractive than the West.
At the end of the day, after the wealth, power and technology, a free society remains the key to become powerful and this is why migration will continue to be from other places to the western world.
I have a Chinese friend who will never talk politics with me whenever he is in China for fear of who may be listening but will be happy to talk about China and politics whenever he is in the US. He is always visiting the US every election year as he enjoys the US politicking.
This is why rich Chinese are buying their way to citizenship in places like Canada, US,UK,Australia etc.
The last puzzle to China's world dominion is to build a free democratic society and once they do it, the west will lose it's attraction.
