I think our problem is our mentality as a people. Naija mentality will never help the country. Naija mentality is based on greed.

For example, you see people complaining about how bad the country is. If you randomly call each of them and give them 10m to develop their own communities, what is the probability that those common people will use all that money to develop their communities?

I tell you that about 90% of those people will use 70% of that money to buy personal houses and cars for themselves and then use the remaining 30% of the money to do a shoddy job that would become bad again after 1 year.

I don't think it will work cos tribalism in Nigeria is too much. Who will represent the states with multiple tribes? There would be serious wahala in the states.
The best way to do it now is to cut their pay. They should equate their position to say level 12 in the civil service and get exactly the salary and allowance of level 12 workers else where. Since the money will be small for them, they will leave the job for serious people
