Good to know but i thought our minister of lie said no swapping occured
Lai is correct. there was no boko haram swap instead Lai swapped his wife and daughter for their release. Up Lai
PoliticsRe: How Nigeria Swapped 21 Chibok Girls For 4 Boko Haram Commanders - Daily Trust by Saintp(m): 5:30pm On Oct 13, 2016
Did Lai not say that there was no swap? Is this a deliberate lie to the Nigerian public or incompetence of this govt?
PoliticsRe: Aisha Buhari's Interview: BBC Defies Pressure From Presidency, Dogara & Daura by Saintp(m): 5:07pm On Oct 13, 2016
I hope Aisha stops this interview for her own sake or tell them to edit the part affecting PMB. PMB no dey forgive ooo. He can harm anybody including Aisha once is supposed "integrity " is rubbished. We no wan hear stories that touch tomorrow ooo.

Protest... peaceful or violent.... the army has no business in civilian matters... it is a police matter. Why was the army involved?.... they do what they are trained to do.... shoot to kill... not conflict resolution or try to make peace or negotiate.
The army is now the new police in Nigeria. The police has been reduced to vigilante. The truth is that Nigerian army has killed more Nigerians that they have killed external enemies against the country that they were meant to fight in the first place.
PoliticsRe: FG Begins School Feeding Programme This Month – Prof Osinbajo by Saintp(m): 9:05am On Oct 12, 2016
what is the essence of this stupid program sef? Will it not be an avenue to settle some big heads and make them richer? This would breed another corruption. We don't need this nonsense now. they should focus on fixing the economy and other things will fall into place.

You people should stop blaming the north. they are simply capitalizing on the free platform offered to them by the south to actualize their aim. To me the SW, SE and SS are all very stupid politically.
PoliticsRe: Ondo Election: APC To Investigate Tinubu’s Anti-Party Moves by Saintp(m): 9:42am On Oct 08, 2016
WORLDPEACE:
You people need to stop talking about the north as if it is one Geo-political zone. We have northwest, northeast and north-central just like we have Southwest, southeast and south-south. A southerner can win in some parts there just like a Northerner can win in some parts in the south. Generalization is for the intellectually lazy. People should learn more about their own country. It is becoming depressing reading people's comments here.
Bros I understand. but how many times have you heard or seen NE Vs NW or NW Vs NC battles like we have SW Vs SE etc? Politically the north is one unlike the south that is three so I know what I am saying.

fulanimafia:
You guys sound like kids at times if you're not one.

Listen, Tinubu enjoys support from the North but if you think you can blackmail anyone then you people are on the way to political irrelevance and you will only lead Tinubu to his destruction with unguarded utterances.

You seem to have forgotten the fact that not only does the North have the strongest electoral muscle in the land, but even if the South miraculously unite and back a southern candidate they still cannot win the election because of the 2/3 rule. You seem to have forgotten that the North can also realign and partner with others in the South who cannot wait to repay you for your perceived treachery against GEJ and will jump at the opportunity regardless of the rhetoric peddled by inconsequential online minions.

Tread softly and weigh your words.
You are 100% correct. The north is the king here. They can dump the SW and realign with SS/SE. The reality is that the north will always have their way if they so desire. SW, SE, SS can't still do without the north politically.

MadCow1:
Jibrin is a classic example of how willing or lack thereof Nigerian are to fight against corruption and for their right.

See as this Man has been whistle blowing and exposing the corruption within the House of Rep's and Nigerians just sudden dey look like say no be our money wey those Niggas dey loot.

If Jibrin gets assassinated tomorrow, Na so we all go come here come post R.I.P, tweet, hashtag and more and in the end, nothing..

If na me be the guy, I go just bone the matter go follow the rest of them chop the money.

See Patience Jonathan wey collect over 30 million Dollars (over 13.5 Billion Naira), Ijaw people and IPOB Yoots dey streets dey protest say make EFCC release her money give her back, meanwhile not a single protest for Jibrin.

In the U.S see how dem don protest the shooting of unarmed people of color to the point wey them sef start to shoot the Police back, but if to say na Nigeria.... Everybody for just lock-up.

Nigerians no like better thing..
Bros, I feel u. But it is this kind if thing that makes me not blame people protesting for their own thief. Just look at it, despite all the revelations, the anti graft agencies are turning a blind eye yet they will go into full force to harass other thieves.
Bros, no thief is better than the other. It is either PMB fights corruption with all sincerity and kill it or he forget it.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Chose Osinbajo For Buhari, Was Not Interested In VP: Ibrahim To Paden by Saintp(m): 2:02pm On Oct 05, 2016
Confusionists. Why did PMB keep quiet and launch a book that has lies in it? that means everything written in that book cannot be trusted. or is he saying he is not aware of these lies before the book was published?
Why did Tinubu not refute the lies by himself? Anyway, let them keep playing games with their stupid followers.
PoliticsRe: Challenges Of Leadership In Nigeria: A Review By Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Saintp(m): 8:45am On Oct 04, 2016
The best way to launder PMB's image positively is by getting positive results on the ground.
PMB should work on making positive impact that are clearly seen and felt in the country and beware of this image laundering washy washy books. when he has done that, then books about him will make sense.

PropertiesRe: 1,000 Houses To Go For Lagos-abeokuta Road Expansion by Saintp(m): 7:16am On Oct 04, 2016
It is only Nigeria that govt wakes up to demolish a structure. where were they when the structures were being built? while the demolish these properties, the people incharge of urban development during the period should be prosecuted. Because if they did their jobs, those structures shouldn't have been existing or they have taken bribe which is a crime.

Outsource Nigeria leadership to Asians or Europeans and watch them revive and build this country to world class standards even with $10 per barrel of oil.
Our problem is not money but lack of leadership.
PoliticsRe: I’ll Continue To Blame My Predecessors For Nigeria’s Woes – Buhari by Saintp(m): 6:43am On Oct 01, 2016
tuale4u:
Buhari is on point.

I actually i find it unrealistic when people say the govt should stop blaming the past.
We are suffering today, because the past never prepared for the future (today).

And also we are very unrealistic in our expectation that things can turn around suddenly.
it will takes us about ten years to diversify the economy. Diversification is not a switch you can just turn on or off.
it is a long painful process. We must understand this and work towards it.

All we talk about is dollar vs naira rate because we are still focussing on consuming imported tins.

We must look inward in our consumption pattern.

Blaming the past for the current economy woes does not in any way affect the performance of the govt. They can blame past govt while they work. it does not slow down progress in anyway. Actually it helps progress because it makes it easier for Nigerians to persevere and work hard for a better future.
Bros, you are on point. blaming the past is necessary because if PMB had not greedily ended our democracy in the early 80s, but allowed it to continue, there wouldn't have been PDP and GEJ in the first place so he is actually part of the biggest disaster that has brought us here.

Lol relax bro. First to do no dey pain. What subsequent government will do is better imagined than experienced.

Those keeping quite today because it favour them may cry tomorrow when the table turn.

Injustice to one is injustice to all
Any victory that does not follow the principle of equity, justice and fair play will be short lived. Tables will turn at some point and revenge will be served hot. Maybe it will become the turn of PMB and his lovely family to be harassed using the same apparatus he abused.
PoliticsRe: Again, SSS Fails To Produce Dasuki In Court by Saintp(m): 10:47am On Sep 30, 2016
Omeokachie:
This government is afraid of the revelations that may come out.

If they are not asking for a secret trial, you will find them jittery in going ahead with the case as is the situation here.

I would have thought this would be the antic of the defence, but coming from the governments side tells alot about what is hidden.
PMB is fighting Dasuki not because of his corruption in the arms saga but just a payback and revenge for Dasuki's role against him in 1984. If he was sincere in prosecuting Dasuki, this case would have gone far now. Will it now take a whole tenure to prosecute a thief like Dasuki? probably second tenure for Appeal and Supreme Court judgement. If fighting corruption will move at this pace, then it doesn't make sense.

Ajala travel all over the world! It seems you are the only one that had travelled to many countries, nonsense!

If A party performs well in a state,as evident in EDO,compared to the evil days of PDP then, but currently having challenges at the federal level, then what should happen? So you expect Oshiomole(with at least a better performance than Igbinedion) to be disgraced by the Edolite because Buhari is currently facing very serious challenges, abi?

The truth is that many Nigerians, including EDOLITES, appreciates the fact that the current challenges at the federal level are summountable and cannot be as a result of ineptitude of the FG.

Even the best economists in the world could not have saved us from Recession: Oil price crash, economic sabotage from NDA,Boko Haram, etc

The FG is fighting many battles, and a very reasonable and sensible electorate should exercise more patience!

It is sheer stupidity to expect APC to clear the mess of 16years in just one year plus,it may surely get worse before it gets better. The building with a very shaky foundation must be pulled down, to lay a more solid foundation, take it or you leave it.

Nigerians and impatience plus miracles, are like bread and butter undecided
Bros, I'm sorry. I don't respond or argue with people who are partisan. Thank you.
PoliticsRe: Edo Governorship Results: Obaseki Leads - The Nation by Saintp(m): 7:36am On Sep 29, 2016
it won't be a surprise if APC wins even without rigging. The truth is that Nigeria is not a normal country. I have travelled to so many countries but I have never seen anyone like Nigeria.
If Nigeria is a normal country, APC should be losing election for the next 2-3 years not because PDP is better but to make a statement of disapproval of the current situation of things and that should have made them sit up. But Nigeria is different with abnormal mentality that defies all logic and that is why nothing works here.

From the Executive to the Independent Legislature. How exactly do you expect the President to take action in this case? Are we under military rule? Does the Executive not have enough problems of their own to worry about? Ending the recession, raising revenues, explaining sale of assets to Unions, fighting insurgency etc.
Why did the president take action against saraki ? Guys, I hate double standard.

PoliticsRe: How And Why We Got Into Trouble- President Buhari by Saintp(m): 8:35am On Sep 27, 2016
Mr President, what you are saying is not new and that is why you were elected. You were elected to save the situation and not to make it worse. If you keep blaming the past, we will also remind you that you are part of the past.
The day you truncated democracy through coup is the day you set us all back.
Mr president, if you dont have what it takes to do the job, get your ass out of Aso rock, Nigerians did not beg you to become president, you hustled for it.
If Nigeria was a company or a football club, you would have been fired by now.
PoliticsRe: Fashola: How We Added 400MW To Power Nat Grid Despite Sabotage by Saintp(m): 2:33pm On Sep 25, 2016
All these MW that rise and fall like a Pen****s is none of my business. Provide 24/7 light so that the man of the street will not have anything to do with generator and buying of fuel in jerry cans ever again. Of all the countries i have been to, it is only Nigeria where light goes off and on.

Till we can have light like serious countries, its better you people spare us the talk of MW, it is not relevant to the average man on the street. Na who MW epp sef?
PoliticsRe: Sale Of National Assets Needed To Fund 2016 Budget – FG by Saintp(m): 12:41pm On Sep 25, 2016
This country will soon implode on its own weight. it is becoming inevitable. Nothing can work in this country till the foundation is corrected. We need total restructing else we fight in vain.

PMB is dissapointment. One would have thought after drinking satchet milk in public during the election he would have sent a bill to drastically reduce salary and allowances of public officials but instead he is comfortable enjoying the stinking allowances and now want to sell national assets.
But then, who would expect any drastic change when the chief promoter couldn't keep his promise of publicy declaring his assets.
PoliticsRe: Niger Delta Group Vows To Bomb NNPC Towers If Patience Jonathan Is Arrested by Saintp(m): 8:35am On Sep 22, 2016
who is PEJ sef? does she have 2 heads? but then when a president decides to use selective approach to fight something as serious as corruption then the whole thing becomes a charade.
No corrupt person is better than the other. You cannot turn a blind eye on corrupt people in your domain and become an anti corruption champion when it has to do with corrupt people on enemys domain and you expect there wouldnt be sympathy from thier supporters.
PMB, it is either you fight corruption with equity, justice and fairplay or you just forget about it like last adminstration.
PoliticsRe: We Must Fight Corruption For Its Damage On Nigeria Economy - VP Osinbajo by Saintp(m): 8:26am On Sep 21, 2016
Bros VP, no corrupt man is better than the other. If you want me to take you guys serious and it will even make more sense to start the cleansing from your own party members. Many of them have corruption hanging on thier neck.

A woman whose daughter is an Ashawo does not go about preaching to the daughter of her neighbor who is also an ashawo to repent while her own daughter has not repented.

There should be no sacred cow when fighting corruption.

mukhcech:
You people are just stubborn due to hate. read your comment and the loopholes. okay let's rephrase: if this is the case, wouldn't it be better if Muslims where there Hijab in public(government) school since it is a secular setting where every one is free. Since the Hijab is just a piece of cloth and not iron or weapon, after all the school is just for learning and last for just few hours.
Bros, it is not hate, it is common sense. The hijab is a religious wear, public schools should be neutral and uniform is a symbol of neutrality. Besides, most people get uncomfortable with people on hijab around them, bomb comes to mind. It is not our fault, we have seen people using the cover of hijab to detonate bombs.
therefore you cannot eat your cake and have it. it is either you leave religion out of public places or you go to where your religon reigns supreme. Mission schools are not banned.

seunmsg:
This man is the most stupid professor I have ever seen in my entire life. He is not different from the wailing crew on NL who goes about writing unreasonable stuffs without good reference/source once it is against the president.

He admitted that vanguard is not a credible source but still went ahead to write about a phantom $6million treatment bill with the same discredited vanguard as the source. And now, instead of giving a straight apology, he's still grandstanding and blaming the president for not denying the news in time. His motive becomes more curious when you realise that this is coming just a few days after the national outrage about patience Jonathan's $15million medical bill account. We really need to upgrade our libel laws. People should be made to face more stiffer sanctions when they write absolute falsehood to deliberately hurt other people.
The problem i have with most of you is that you guys are just more interested in protecting the "percieved" integrity of PMB than the survival of our institutions. PMB will come n go but our institutions will remain. Every dissenting voice against the president should not be seen as an enemy, Nigeria is bigger than one man.

No bro, true Muslim practices Islam in everyday of his Life.It is absurd for school to shun court order. The constitution is there to back up their rights.

It is against Islam for muslimah to open up her hair in the public,Islam against any form of nakednes** being it anywhere in the world. It has nothing to do with Skul, work or any government institutions. It has has been part of our sisters daily Life's.....

Modified.

People still don't gat it,may be they understand but failed to get it coz of their hatred for Islam.

Wearing of hijab is not an occasional dressing, traditional worshippers dresses that suite their religious belief once in a while (may be during their festival) and celestial church members don't wear shoes on Sundays not everyday, same goes to other religion except Islam.

But in Islam, true Muslim practices Islam totally. Hijab has nothing to do with time or wearing it on Fridays. As far as u are devoted muslimah, you must put it on everyday irrespective of where u find yourself.

Pls if u lack ability to comprehend the contents above, don't quote me or spam my mention. I don't av time to argue on any religious belief.I can only elucidate the fact,if u like agree with me,if u like debunk it.Pls don't spam my mention.....

[/b]
If this is the case, wouldn't it be better for muslims to go to islamic schools where it is certain that they cannot be corrupted in any form?
Since other religions including traditional worshippers respect the secularity of the uniform and abide by it, why can't muslims abide by it afterall the school is just for learning and last for just few hours?
